Great location! Everything you could want in a vacation rental!! Great communication with host, all amenities were as described, minutes away from Great Smoky Mountains State Park, Gatinlinburg and Pigeon Forge! Would book this property again 5 Stars!!

Perfect Cabin

This is probably the cleanest cabin you will ever rent. It is a great location, halfway between Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. The theater room was great. Wish we had one at our house. It has a wonderful view of the surrounding mountains and is very private since it sits well above all of the neighboring cabins. We will definitely try to rent this cabin on our next trip back to the Smokies.

This cabin was very comfortable for our family with plenty of room. Nice hot tup to enjoy the evening after seeing the sights around Gatlinburg. Easy communication throughout our stay.

Cozy cabin

Fun place that was tucked away. A little hard to find and get ready for some steep driveways. Plenty of activities for kids and ample space to enjoy great scenery and wildlife. We had some black bear visitors over Thanksgiving!

Beautiful Cabin in the mountains

This is a great cabin in the mountains. Pets are welcome host answer every question in minutes. She let us check in early which was a big help. Drive way is tricky at first to turn around but then was easy. The movie room is a blast, plenty of room and middle of everything. Must rent if looking for a great place. Will book again.

Perfection in Gatlinburg

We had an amazing stay and found the cabin to be exceptionally clean. I particularly loved the detailed instructions on how to use all of the electronics which made the movie room our favorite spot!

Great long weekend at Bear Woods Lodge!

My family and I had a great stay at this lovely and spacious cabin! The host, Phoebe, was super thorough with instructions and was able to take care of any questions I had right away. Views from the cabin are terrific and all of amenities of the cabin were enjoyed by all. Would definitely rent the same cabin again!

Bear Country

My family and I stayed for a week, beds were comfortable, great views, and the host was responsive to some minor issues. The highlight of the stay though was our evening visitors. We had a single bear one night and 3 came by a couple nights later. Fortunately they minded their own business and moseyed on through the yard. One did make his way up the drive, and on the deck, but quickly changed course, hopped up on the retaining wall, and disappeared up the mountain once we started yelling at it. They were more interested in berries in the bushes and bugs in the old tree stump than us, but it was an unforgettable experience for all!

Week vaca hiking the Smokies

Phoebe was terrific. Everything in the house was as described but there was even more. Not “starter sets” of anything. Full sized toiletries, paper towels etc. I cooked every day and she had ALL the cookware I needed. We all loved the deck so much; especially our pups. 15 mins into town, to Food City and Mynatt Park for some hiking trails. Perfect for our family of 6!

House is right o top of hill, very curvy and incline to get to house,no neighbors on back or side, steep hill to get to house,house was clean, hot tub was functional but for longer stays I would recommend a clean out of the tub after 4th day, very spacious, lots of utensils inside the house, 9 beds total available, easy home acces, I would recommend an additional door stopper asa safety feature,

Wonderful

The property was wonderful. Great location and views! Very spacious as well both inside and out, never felt crowded at all. In my search, many places were right on the edge of a cliff but this had a nice spacious property and grassy area so we felt safe with young kids there. Had a slight issue with the hot tub not warming up right away, as it was drained/cleaned/refilled prior to our arrival, but Phoebe was very attentive in responding to our needs and having someone come out to check it the same day and get it to working order. Only slight glitch was it being a little confusing in getting up to the property as you come off the main road, as you still wind up around other properties, so perhaps a sign/arrow pointing which way to go once off the main road would help (unless there is one that we just missed!) since there are several homes accessed in the same spot, but truthfully it wasn’t a big issue and not worth reducing the rating about—everything else compensated! Overall, we really enjoyed the property and would happily stay again :)

Paradise for families

We travel often with the grandkids. Years of travel. This house has the best set up for a relaxed, comfortable, everything needed vacation ever. The “children’s level” has comfortable bunk beds with upscale mattresses and bedding. Rooms are spacious. In the other room on that level is a full wall theater screen, a gaming console, and a pool table. Despite long days at Ober Mountain doing winter sports and a day in Pigeon Forge at the Titanic Museum, classic car museums etc. the children still could occupy themselves while we fixed dinner in the fully equipped kitchen. Add to that comfortable mattresses in all the adults bedrooms, spectacular views, spotlessly clean hot tub. Publix is 12 minutes away in Pigeon Forge. Communication with owner was easy, prompt, and pleasant. Her housekeeper came personally to help me understand how everything worked. We hope to return. It was difficult to persuade the children to leave.

Perfect Getaway

Nice cabin, plenty of room to spread out. We had eight adults ranging from 23-70. The host was very communicative and available as needed. We had no issues during our stay. It was a relaxing Christmas.

Family Vacation

Great facility. We enjoyed the awesome view. Everything was in working order, clean and well cared for. We all enjoyed the large table so we could eat together. The deck was equipped with plenty of rocking chairs so everyone could enjoy being together. We would highly recommend this beautiful accommodation.

Fantastic!

The house was perfect for our Gatlinburg vacation. The views are spectacular. We enjoyed sitting on the deck watching the beautiful sunrise over the mountains. The house had everything we needed. The kitchen was well stocked and had nice pots/pans for cooking. The decor is super cute and we loved the open layout and all of the windows. The downstairs is awesome! Great spot for kids/ teenagers or adults. The big screen was a treat when watching sports. Movies would be great too. I cannot say enough good things about this rental. Wound highly recommend.

Fantastic Fall Break

We had a great stay over fall break. The cabin is spacious and more than enough room for our two families. The view is amazing and all the amenities in the cabin were as listed. Highly recommend!

Perfect !

Just a perfect setting, with panoramic views. Even had two bears visit, which was very cool. Beds were comfortable and slept well. Phoebe answered any ?s, within minutes. I inquired about a gas grill and she had a brand new one delivered. Wow ! Perfect week and will be back !

Annual trip

We rented this cabin for our family of 5 and our friends family of 4. It was the perfect size cabin and allowed us to bring our dog. Cabin was clean and the game Room area downstairs was perfect for all the kids along with the bunk room. The host communicated very well. We would love to rent this cabin in the future.
