THE COZY COTTAGE, A Great place to hang your hat.

This Beautiful Cozy cottage is located in the small town of Post City Texas. Located a few blocks from downtown and walking distance to a local United Grocery store. The Cottage is a small house, with a queen size bed, side table, dresser, a side chair and an Armoire. The Bathroom is small, but has a large walk in shower. The kitchen is set up with lots of cabinets and comes complete with a small table and 2 stools, it has a large refrigerator, an apartment size stove and a Microwave
The space
The cottage has a front porch to set on and relax at the end of the day, It also has a fenced in back yard with a small laundry building with washer and drier.
It has a coffee maker and I also supply shampoo and soap for bathroom.
Other things to note
The Cozy Cottage is walking distance to a United Grocery store and only 2 blocks from the Post downtown shopping area.
Fisherman and Hunters are welcome to stay at my Cozy Cottage, only a few miles from White River Lake and Lake Allen Henry where you can find great outdoor fun.
Lots of Wonderful gift stores in our little town and a Great Drive in, with car hops, and Georges Restaurants with wonderful, tasty foods you just can't beat it.

I recently stayed at this cottage and had a mixed experience.The inside of the cottage was very clean, and I have to say the bed was one of the most comfortable I’ve ever slept in. The bathroom was also clean, though very small, and the shower entrance was extremely narrow—about 17.5 inches wide. This detail should be included in the description, as a medium-sized pregnant woman or a larger person would likely have trouble entering the shower.On the downside, the neighborhood outside the property did not feel as clean or well-kept. The Wi-Fi was also difficult to connect to since only the password was provided, not the network name—adding the Wi-Fi name would help future guests. Instructions for the coffee maker were incorrect, which was frustrating.I also texted the property owner to let them know I was leaving a day early but never received a response.Overall, aside from the shower issue, the stay was fine for one person. With a few adjustments and clearer communication, this cottage could be a more comfortable option for future guests.JBG

Cozy cottage was as stated cozy.

Very clean, like a mini apartment. Full size fridge and four burner stove. Bed was comfy. Perfect overnight stay. Owner communicated excellent thru the rental period. Would stay again.

Cozy Cottage - Very Enjoyable

We enjoyed our stay at Theresa's Cozy Cottage. It was perfect for my wife and I as we were passing through for the night. It was very clean and we were very comfortable. Perfect for couples or solo travelers. Would stay here again when we're back in the area.

Beautiful little house.

Very nice little house. Bathroom is a bit clostrophobic but other than that it is an excellent place to relax a few days. Fully equiped. The town is very friendly as well.

Perfect for Our Short Stay

We especially liked the small, privacy-fenced backyard. It was perfect for our newly rescued dog, who is anxious in new spaces. With the warm, breezy weather, we enjoyed being outside. This would be our choice in the colder months without an indoor sitting area to watch TV.The owner took great pains to offer small, welcome amenities such as lovely bath items, a warm welcome note, and other notable finds—good coffee, creamer, and Spring water. The location was a quiet neighborhood, but walking distance to the grocery store if needed. The price was perfect.

My name is Theresa Doggett, my husband, of 56 yrs, Lee Doggett helps with our 2 Cottages here in Post City, Texas. Lee retired out of the Navy, an Air Traffic Controller, after 20 years and being military we moved a lot. (Every three years). We have lived in Georgia, Tenn., California and 3 years in Italy.
Lee loves working on motors, Air planes, motorcycles and automobiles. He's turning 80 this November and is slowing down just a little...haha
I love anything crafts. I've owned businesses, flipped houses and was a Christmas Designer for 3 years at Boyd's Bears Inc. Now I have my own Christmas Store in this small Texas town of Post. I own 2 Airbnb's in the Post area, they are just walking distance from each other. One is Rusty's Cottage a small tiny one bedroom rock house and the other is this Cozy Cottage. I love to host guests who are traveling with their furry family member. We never get to meet with our guest since I now am a caregiver for my 98 yr. old mother. I am so very blessed with still having her with
us.

Por qué escogió este alojamiento

I purchased both the large house next door and when the smaller one came up for sale, we purchased it. The Cozy Cottage is across the street from my son's house and also my mothers home. A very nice quite neighborhood, close to the downtown main street and around the corner from the grocery store. When we purchased the Cottage it was totally empty, no bathroom or kitchen and because we flip houses we restored it ourselves.

Qué hace que este alojamiento sea especial

I love our Cozy Cottage because even if it is a small tiny house, there is a complete working kitchen, a large walk in shower, side yard and a large fenced in back yard with patio furniture and a large porch swing to enjoy your evening outside with your pets. The front porch has two Adirondack chairs so you can set in the evening and enjoy your glass of wine or cup of coffee and watch the evening sun go down.
