Best place for a family reunion

This place is gigantic, clean, fun, and has everything you would ever need right at the house. The owners were amazing and easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this place.

Look Forward to Returning

This was a great spot for our extended family! Plenty of rooms for each family, large kitchen for the big meals being prepared, lots of room to spread out between the living room, basement, backyard, and covered porch. The house was clean, the kitchen was well stocked with supplies, and there was a stunning view of the lake. We look forward to returning to this property in future years!

Perfect Getaway

Twin Elks was perfect and exactly what we were looking for. The hosts were incredibly accommodating and amazing communicators. They responded to our questions quickly and even called us the day we arrived to make sure we settled in ok. It was a large house that fit all of us (13 adults, 14 kids) comfortably and had plenty of outside space for the kids to play and run around. It is located in a peaceful area and has a fantastic view of the lake and surrounding hills. We were able to make many memories here and highly recommend this property.

Summer family vacation

The view from the property is spectacular! Sitting on the shaded, large deck was extremely pleasant. We also loved that there were so many king sized beds. It felt very private, because the lot sizes in The Reserve are large. The location is away from the crowds, but near enough to town and to The North Beach of Bear Lake. The cabin was plenty large for our family of 26 people. The large lot was flat enough to play games and our grand kids loved the playground out back. We also appreciated the three refrigerators to keep all our food in.

Bear Lake July 2022

We had a great time. The location of this property is so beautiful. There was so much the kids could do. The club house with the pool and hot tub. I loved that my family could play volleyball and basketball at the property. I loved the play ground for the little kids. We sat outside on the deck a lot of the time looking at the beautiful view of the lake and watching the kids play. We have started a tradition of coming to Bear Lake each summer. This by far is our favorite trip, Twin Elks at The Reserve.

Fantastic!

We rented the house for a family reunion and it was just right! There were more than enough beds and areas to accommodate the whole extended family! The play set and volleyball net were well used and it was so inviting! The neighborhood was beautiful too. We used the pool a little bit and it was nice, although always seemed really busy! The only downside was having to buy more toilet paper because of our large group (maybe more then 1 extra roll would have been nice!) and there were only 2 dish towels. But all in all, minor inconveniences! And the host was quick to respond to texts—Thank you for a fantastic stay!!

Disappointed in cleanliness of an otherwise enjoyable stay

We enjoyed the amenities and beautiful views of this property but were dismayed at the cleanliness. Some of the rooms had not been cleaned at all (fingerprints on appliances and windows, crumbs on tables) and we found soiled bedding on two of the beds. There was a large broken window in the kitchen area that we had to keep children away from and we could not use the kitchen downstairs as we couldn't use the dishwasher or disposal. We had to run to Garden City for propane to grill as we could not get in touch with the hosts. We are not perfect guests - we broke a window playing ping pong - but expect to sleep in clean beds and put food in clean fridges!

Bear Lake Gem

We hosted our family reunion, and this house was perfect! Our grandchildren loved the playground, bunk room, ping pong and Foosball. The adults loved the 3 fridges, more than enough kitchen ware, volleyball court, and comfortable beds. We loved the 3 indoor tables (kitchen, dining room and basement) making enough room for meals, games and puzzles. There are an additional 2 large picnic tables in the yard near the bbq. We were given access to The Reserves pools and private beach. There are 2 pools side by side, a hot tub and a fun slide. You are able to drive on the private beach. This makes unloading very easy. The water is very shallow. You could walk 100 feet and just be to your knees. This was perfect for paddle boarding, floats, and playing with shovels and buckets (more mud than sand) This house was the perfect set up for our family reunion.

Great property for families

Twin Elks was a perfect property for our large family group which consisted of multiple adult couples with mostly younger kids. The bunk beds in most of the king rooms is a genius idea that allowed smaller kids to stay in the rooms with their parents. There is plenty of space for everyone so you're not constantly on top of each other, and the playground right outside was amazing. Plenty of parking if you have a boat or ATVs and and easy drive to North Beach. The clubhouse pool and hot tub were also great for the one rainy day we had. The house was well outfitted and we had everything we needed for family meals and other activities. The only complaint was that the family room couch was not comfortable and desperately in need of replacement. Also, be aware that there is no trash service in the neighborhood (not in the owner's control, obviously) so all the trash has to be hauled to the club house. Not a huge issue, but we were glad we had truck beds and ATVs available so we weren't hauling trash inside our cars/SUVs. Both very minor issues for an otherwise amazing stay!
