Conveniently located in the heart of Kill Devils Hills, steps from Bay Drive(the most amazing sunsets on the Outer Banks) and the Kitty Hawk Bay. The home and guest suit was built in 2021. It's a perfect getaway for a couple to enjoy the relaxing beaches of the Outer Banks. Extra amenities include beach chairs, soft top surf boards, cooler, beach towels, under house parking and grill, fenced back yard for the pets.
Guests with pets will enjoy the private fenced backyard that connects to the covered patio. Proximity to Bay Drive path, where they can enjoy water views while walking their pets. Under carport parking for those hot summer days. Owner lives in second floor of the house . Guest apartment is located on first floor.

Great little pet friendly studio with access to the multi-use path. The owner was attentive and we enjoyed the amenities. Our dog loved having so many toys to choose from and the fenced in yard to play in. Highly recommend for a couple with a canine companion!

The location was amazing. The apartment was clean and looked just like the photos. It was definitely not quiet and private though. If I'd known there would be children playing basketball in the driveway right next to the apartment, a little girl playing in the "private yard" so I couldn't let my dogs out. I wouldn't have booked. The gates between the driveway and my patio area weren't attached to anything and my dogs could bowl right through it. So I had to take them out on leash the whole time. I ended up having to build a wall with chairs and a surf board so I could let them loose in the yard and relax. the patio area was useless at that point. The apartment needs better insulation I could hear every foot step and Convo upstairs. Between kids jumping, stomping around and slamming doors at 630am and loud trucks firing up at 330 am. My dogs were a nervous wreck the whole trip..it didn't make a very relaxing time for me either. The bed was also pretty hard. I didn't sleep the first 3 days and called around half way through to find another place to stay. they also may want to put earlier in the description that it's the apartment under the house not the house. I didn't realize that til after I booked and decided to just keep the booking, since it was pretty cheap. I felt like I may as well have just slept on their couch. By the end of the week the kids were gone and it quieted down some. But those first few days were rough.

Great spot for a babymoon get away

The covered parking was great. Check in was a breeze and the space was top notch clean! The outdoor patio area was beautiful and wonderful to read a book in the hammock or play with the dogs. Quiet neighborhood. I would highly recommend for any couple looking to get away to the OBX.

Clean, cute place!

Our 1st getaway with our 2 Australian Shepherds. The place was well kept, clean and charming. Exactly what we wanted for a couple of days away. Also, loved the fenced back yard.I would come again if it was just my husband and myself but I would not bring the dogs again. No fault to the homeowner but one of my dogs is anxious. Hearing walking around upstairs from 12-2am really upset him so that equalled not much sleep for us.

Wedding weekend

Really nice place, our only complaint is the noise volume from the owner and family upstairs. Location is not the best for beach goers

Get away

Disappointed that the beach right there is no longer dog friendly and had to go 20 minutes to next town for a dog friendly beach Also the owner who lives upstairs has a dog who is super friendly but comes downstairs to where you are renting and if you have a dog like ours who does not like other dogs that close caused somewhat of a problem we had to constantly be on watch for the dog and could not really enjoy the outside area . If your dog loves dog there would not be a issue The owner and dog were very friendly

Disappointed

The apartment was clean and cute. We felt mislead and decided to lose out on money rather than staying. You could hear every step and most conversations of the home owners. Did not feel private at all. Feels like you are staying with the homeowner.

The property was exactly as advertised. Very comfortable and was perfect for my wife and I and our border collie. Highly recommend staying here and we will definitely be back.

Sweet little place

The place was very clean. Bed was comfortable. Great communication with owner. It is under the owners living space so when they are there you do hear them but no worse than apartment living sounds. My only suggestion is to have a bath mat and/or grab bar for shower for safety reasons. But definitely would recommend this place. Very centrally located and easy to go anywhere from here.

Couple and pet retreat

It was a lovely apartment below a beach home. There was a fenced backyard for our small dogs. We were there on a cold fall weekend, but would have loved to be able to sit on the patio on a nice evening.

I really enjoyed staying at Inna’s place with my two dogs. My dogs loved having a backyard (with a very easy access - no steps to navigate or anything, just open the door and you are in the backyard) and the doggie toys! The place is very clean, cozy, feels brand new. Easy to find, close to the beach, a very pleasant host - what else does one need? Loved everything about our stay!

Nice and clean room, easy access, nice fenced backyard for dogs, close to sidewalk to walk dogs. Great local restaurants for seafood. Less than 5 minutes to beach. Great location. Would return again.

Great for Couples!

The space was perfect for me and my husband (plus our dog). The sound is so close and it was great to catch the sunsets there. Plus, the yard is super convenient with a pet! Quiet neighborhood.

Great spot

This place was great for me, my husband and large dog . It was enough room for us to sleep and hangout . The outside was the best part ! Had a large back yard for our dog and a large space with awning with chairs and lights to hang out . Bay was a minute walk away with a nice trail along it . Inna was very welcoming .
