Cozy "Wildwood Lodge" Nestled in a Beautifully Wooded Setting - Pet Friendly

Welcome to the Wildwood Lodge! It is nestled amongst a beautiful diversity of pines, birches, and tamaracks that provide a plethora of shade during the sunniest of days! Make yourself at home around the fireplace, relax beneath the stars in the private hottub, or gather around the fire pit for stories and s'mores in this secluded Northern Michigan getaway!

Located in the Lakes of the North, an adventure is right around the corner from our own backyard! From Pencil Lake to Lake Harold, you can fish, paddleboard, kayak, or relax on the sandy beaches. You'll also have access to 100s of miles of ORV adventures.

Lakes of the North is a quaint little community and has many amenities available to our guests (fee applicable). The community center offers an indoor pool, lazy river, hot tub, video game lounge, and fitness center. Outside is a tennis court and pickle ball court. Settings Restaurant is a few miles up the road and known for excellent food at good prices with daily specials prepared by culinary experts.

A well renowned 18 hole golf course is situated in the middle of Lakes of the North and offers a good range of challenges from beginners to the experienced. Within 30 miles of the Lodge are a variety of other golf courses with some bringing golfers from across the country to experience Michigan's scenic views and golfing paradises.

Wildwood Lodge is also pet friendly! Understanding how important pets are to one's family, we welcome yours! Dog dishes and water bowls are available so you don't have to worry about bringing yours. There is a small fenced-in area where your dogs can stretch their legs freely and enjoy the outdoors without a leash!

Outside you will find a private 7-seat hottub with jets, underwater lighting, and Ozonator filtration system, overlooking the fire pit area. This spa is a high efficiency model, pre-heated and ready for you upon arrival!

For the beer connoisseurs, foodies, and quaint town shoppers, Bellaire is about a 20 minute drive where you'll find Short's Brewery, the Bellaire Bar, several boutiques, unique places like Bee Well that sells Mead, and coffee shops with homemade pastries. Your belly and taste buds will thank you!

Very clean, close to Gaylord, which has every amenity that you may need. Hot tub was relaxing. Wi-Fi was strong and used by the kids very thoroughly.

Great little getaway

Stephanie and Steven were very prompt at answering any questions we had before and during our stay. The location was perfect Gaylord was only a 20 min drive and Lake Harold was a pleasant surprise with how clean the lake was with a nice little beach.

Perfect winter getaway!

This place was perfect for our little family and puppies. House was clean and comfortable. The kids loved the outdoor hot tub and pool facilities after a day in the snow. Would definitely stay here again!

Little Family Getaway

Very nice cabin with all the amenities! Loved having 2 full bathrooms! Nice quiet location. We enjoyed being able to enjoy the indoor pool area when the weather wasn't great! We enjoyed our stay!

Great location, great property!

Check-in was a breeze, owners were great. Home was lovely, clean. We used this location as a home base for several day trips to various towns like Charlevoix and Traverse City, and just relaxation, and it was the perfect spot for both!

Winter get away

Nice area, we used the pool at the club house, the grand kids loved it. Sitting in the hot tub star gazing was spectacular. Very cozy home.

Lovely winter cabin get-away!

This property was just what I was hoping for when I booked a long weekend up north for a little rest and relaxation! The cabin was clean and well stocked with all the essentials to make you comfortable for your stay. My dog came with me and felt right at home with all the special touches for our four legged friend! The added bonus was th the beautiful snowfall that blanketed the foreat during our stay! And we also very much enjoyed being able to use the hot tub as well!! All around it was a 5 star weekend!

Great Getaway

This was a perfect up north place to stay! It felt very private being in a wooded setting. The house was super clean and modern. Being able to bring our dog was a huge plus!

Wildwood Lodge

We had a wonderful time at the Wildwood Lodge. It was as described, maybe better. It was nicely furnished and well stocked with most anything we needed. Would highly recommend Wildwood Lodge, and would not hesitate to book again.

Fun weekend away

What a great place. Hot tub was amazing, everything very clean, easy distance to a lot of activities. Went mushroom hunting and found a lot!! Pool area was a blast Thanks again for an amazing weekend away. We will recommend and be back!!!

Perfect Up North central location

We enjoyed our stay in this cute home! Well stocked kitchen with everything labeled for convenience. Owners were quick to respond to questions we had during our stay and offered dinner ideas for nearby restaurants. Super quiet location but close to anywhere you want to go Up North! Hour drive to Lake Huron, Lake Michigan, or Mackinac Island.

Everything was very nice. I would put a light over the hot tub. Very nice place, the fenced in backyard was awesome to have with the 2 dogs. They loved adventuring. Would stay again!

Quiet, secluded, pet friendly.

We had a great stay at this home. Pet friendly with the home and fenced in area that is both in the front yard and back. It would be nice if the ferns in the pet area could be cut down, however that does detract from the stay. We will definitely consider this for future stays.
