Hi, I’m Gui Popp and I’m so excited to host you here in the Smoky Mountains! Originally from Florida, I now split my time between the Sunshine State and this beautiful mountain escape. When I’m not managing the cabin, I’m a professional photographer and videographer with over 20 years of experience—I love capturing life’s special moments and the beauty of nature.
In addition to photography, I’m passionate about exploring the great outdoors, astronomy, and even dabbling in unique hobbies like growing gourmet mushrooms! I also love spending time with my family and working on creative projects with my wife, who’s an artist.

What I love most about the area around the cabin is the perfect balance between natural beauty and exciting attractions. Nestled in the heart of the Smoky Mountains, it offers breathtaking views, peaceful trails, and the soothing sound of nature all around. I enjoy the serenity of being surrounded by towering trees and misty mountain mornings, which make for some of the most beautiful sunrises and sunsets I’ve ever seen.
At the same time, the cabin is just a short drive from the vibrant towns of Pigeon Forge and Gatlinburg. Whether it’s exploring the Great Smoky Mountains National Park, enjoying the charm of local shops, or experiencing the fun and energy of Dollywood, there’s always something to do nearby.
For me, it’s the best of both worlds—peaceful mountain living and access to incredible experiences. It’s a place where you can reconnect with nature, create lifelong memories, and truly relax. I hope my guests feel the same way when they stay here!
