We stayed during the Thanksgiving holiday weekend. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The home has everything we needed, quiet and serene and very relaxing! Views of Mt Garfield are stunning with the Colorado Monument directly in front of you and a short ride from the home. Centrally located in Palisades and 15 min drive to Grand Jct. James is very responsive and accommodating with requests and staying in touch. Unfortunately we did not have the opportunity to experience the winery during our holiday weekend visit. We’re definitely going to be back!!!

This was an A experience! A beautiful home next to an excellent winery and surrounded by scenic vineyards and vistas. The home was clean, large rooms, and a well equipped kitchen. James was a terrific host. Only a 2.5 mile scenic drive or bike ride to downtown Palisade. We were sad to leave.

We had a delightful stay at the Winery Estate House. Beautiful location and very nice set up inside. Very comfortable. Kitchen was well appointed with all the necessities needed to cook a good meal. We hope to return.

Perfect for friends and family

Location was perfect for us, quiet and peaceful but not far from other wineries and groceries, either. And staying *on* a winery made it even better. The house itself was also great with spacious bedrooms and great living spaces inside and outside.

Great place & great people

Last summer, my friends and I stayed at this property because we appreciate having access to fine wine from the Carboy winery (it’s our favorite winery) and our experience was exceptional. The staff went out of their way to ensure we felt welcome and were available to answer any questions we had. We were encouraged to approach them whenever we needed assistance. The home was well maintained and very clean, and I look forward to booking it again for another weekend with friends. Highly recommend this property to anyone!

Breathtaking Views

The property was surrounded by amazing views at every turn. The property itself was immaculate and beautiful. The only downside was having virtually no privacy on the property. The pictures in the listing does make it look like there is quite a distance between the main House we stayed at and the winery tasting building where the customers frequently come and go. But I want to express that is likely the only problem for guests who wanted privacy on the outside property. Other than that, the host and house itself were amazing!

Perfect Weekend Away

The Carboy property was a beautiful setting for a weekend away. To add to a great home and location, the staff at the winery was so kind and welcoming! We did the Winemakers Tour with James and learned so much while tasting incredible wines. Sunday we started our day with a fantastic yoga session. We will definitely be back.

A One of Kind Experience

This is perfect home for a short weekend getaway, or an extended 3 week stay like we did this past February. The home has everything you need to make the stay comfortable. It has been modernized and made turnkey in every way, making the stay easy, simple, comfortable and rewarding.James is a terrific host. Very responsive, willing to help, and a great person to talk to about the area. We plan on making an annual trek to Palisade going forward and we definitely hope to be able to return Carboy.

Wine weekend

What an amazing property and place to stay! This is our second year staying here and we love it! It is so clean and well stocked with whatever we need for cooking. We were able to cook dinner in each night and of course, have a bottle of wine from Carboy with dinner!! Such a great place to stay and great location!

Wedding Weekend

Great weekend. My son got married at the winery so the being on the grounds was perfect. Host was very accommodating and the house was beautiful. It was roomy and come. One of my family members left his watch and James was kind enough to mail it to us.

Perfection

We did a girls trip and got lucky to find this place was available. It was honestly the perfect stay. It’s directly on the property of Carboy winery (the best winery in town). The people there are just amazing, the owner was super easy going and helpful. The beds were seriously the most comfortable beds I’ve ever slept in. The whole house was so homey and clean, welcoming and very well equipped. I would 100% recommend this to anyone coming for a beautiful stay in Palisade. We will definitely be coming back. Oh, we even had a welcome bottle of bubbly waiting for us in the fridge!!

Grape-tastic! The owner's hospitality really poured on the charm.

Carboy Winery in Palisade, Colorado, provided us with an unforgettable experience during our two-night stay. From the moment we arrived, the James the owner and staffs warm welcome set the tone for our visit. The winery's picturesque location amidst Colorado's stunning landscapes enhanced our stay, offering both tranquility and beauty. The accommodations were perfect, 3 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, with a very large open kitchen/living area. Plus the outdoor patio and property with all the amenities felt like a resort! We enjoyed the opportunity to explore the winery the most, sampling the wines, The staff's knowledge and enthusiasm added to our enjoyment, making our tasting experience both educational and delightful. We planned to visit many wineries but ended up staying at Carboy the whole time! Throughout our stay, we found Carboy Winery to be a perfect blend of hospitality, scenic beauty, and excellent wine. Whether you're a wine enthusiast or simply seeking a peaceful retreat, Carboy Winery in Palisade is a destination worth visiting.
