Korcula's Capri

Stunning house with magnificent terrace and gorgeous way. The owner had take care about every detail, including 3 steps on the terrace, which lower the fence so that your view is not disturbed when you are sitting at the dining table. Big living area connected with a terrace gives you an impression of yacht deck. Everything is done with a style (italian one :) The house exudes relaxation and only thing which we regret is " We should have stayed longer" Alexandar Thanks Giuseppe Alexandar

Good view with problems and additional cost

In my 1 month stay in Croatia, this was my 4th rental. In all previous places I was not required to give additional money for tourist tax, except for this one. I was required to give the money for tax a couple hours before leaving the rental. The place was not cheap with nice view but in both bathrooms the shower was leaking leaving a massive puddle on the floor. Air conditioning wasn’t working properly and there was difficulties with parking spot.

Dear Adrian , Sorry to hear about your disatisfation about the place. The tax is imposed by the Croatia law and we are obbigated to report every customer and pay turism tax on each one. Reagarding the shower we had prewius rental and no one mention that was leeking maybe was too strong the water pressure and water come out of the base . We control the a/c every year before the season but expecting hotter summer then usual could create minor problem taking longer to coolthe house. Tahnk you to let us know we are planning to up date the system for the future since summer are hotter then usual The parking space, unfortunately some time people park theyr car on the wrong space or on any space they see available without know that is my property. We have 4 car space that belongs to Angel of the Adriatic ,. Hope you enjoied your vacation. and not had all bad experience. sincerely giuseppe D'Arcangelo

Traumhaft

Wir haben spontan, in der Nacht (23 Uhr), umgebucht, weil wir in Lombarda leider enttäuscht wurden. Gleich am nächsten Tag konnten wir Dieses Appartment beziehen und es hat uns den Urlaub gerettet. Die Vermieter sind äußerst freundlich und sehr bemüht! Die Lage und die Aussicht sind ein Traum! War sicher nicht das letzte Mal! Sowohl der Ort als auch die Unterkunft sind unvergesslich.

This place is simply lovely

Very nice Apartment with superb view from the balcony and direct access to the water. We loved it. The town of Zavalatica is also really nice, just the right size where you can find everything you need (Restaurants, a Bar, a Supermarket, a Wine dealer, an ATM), do not expect nightlife. And the caretaker of the house is fantastic, she helped us with everything from organizing a boat trip to finding a way for a Corona Test. She would get ten stars from us!

Calme et belle vue

Grand appartement avec une vue splendide depuis la terrasse. Accès direct à la mer par un chemin et une échelle (attention, vous n'aurez plus pied très rapidement). Idéal pour se ressourcer (pas de télévision mais un bon réseau wifi). Un grille pain et le fer à repasser seraient un plus. Cuisine bien équipée. Si vous utilisez la machine à laver le linge, elle est un peu dure à ouvrir.

What a view!

We had a four night stay at the apartment in July 2019 and travelled by car from Dubrovnik. It is a long drive but worth it as you travel through very interesting villages and a large wine growing area. Zavalitica is on the other side of the island from Korcula Old Town and is a very small village with a peaceful atmosphere. We were in the ground apartment which has a large balcony overlooking the Adriatic and the small harbour. The apartment is furnished with the basics that you need for a holiday break. The only thing missing was a kettle which was provided when we asked. It would be helpful if instructions are provided for the appliances (and wifi code) as the washing machine decided to eat our clothes and someone had to be called out to try and open it which took three hours. There is no TV but the wifi signal is good. The main bedroom has large sliding doors which gives a view over the sea. The shutters in the main bedroom and living area help to keep out the very early summer sun in the mornings. The air-conditioning was a life saver as it was very hot during our visit and it would have been unbearable otherwise. There are stone steps that lead from the apartment directly to the sea below. The walk is about 100m and easy enough but look out for the uneven areas. The steps leading into the sea are well secured and make it very easy to go for a quick dip which we did several times daily. Please take care as it gets deep very quickly and there are sharp rocks so it is recommended to wear aquashoes or flip flops. The area is good for snorkelling. The village has a small store for the basics but the variety is very limited (we could not find eggs for example) so rather do the food shopping at the larger stores in Korcula town. There are a few restaurants in the village, if you like seafood you are in luck but if you are a vegetarian not so much which seemed to be a general trend in this part of Croatia. We would highly recommend this apartment if you want to get away from it all and have a very peaceful break in beautiful surroundings. The locals are friendly and interesting and you get a real sense of having escaped from the big, busy world (in our case London). It was very hard to leave.

Thank You for staying at angel of the adriatic , i'm happy that you had a pleasant time, sorry if nobody told you about the password for internet , its written on the router in english. The missing kettle , usually we have few italian moka around in each apartment , but some time things gets mixed with the apartment downstairs or vice versa. All do croatia is not up to date with all the rest of the europe but the machines are standard cannot explain why wanted to get your clothing . any i'm happy that you enjoy my property and this part of the island. sincerely Giuseppe D'Arcangelo

Fantastic location

We had a wonderfull vacation in the house, The location is perfect for relaxing, swimming and snorkling. The view from the balcony is spectacular. A very light and "friendly" appartment. The little town is quiet, just what we needed. It could become our favorite return place for vacation. If we return it would be nice if the kitchen was then equipped with more plates, cutting knifes, a grater, a toatser, a chopping board.

The apartment is situated in a quiet neighborhood, it is very roomy , with a wonderful terrace overlooking the sea , the apartment has everything you need, we recommend it for everyone who wants to get away from the big cities.

So relaxing - Stunning Views!

We stayed here for 10 nights in September and it was simply one of the best holidays we've had! We'd been to Croatia before so we know the weather would be good etc. The apartment has the most amazing view, the balcony was lovely to sit on and watch all the fishing boats come in and out with clear views out to see and Lastovo. Just stunning. Susie the housekeeper is great, she gave us great suggestions of places to visit on the island and the best bays for swimming in. Very flexible on arrival and leaving times too which is great. You do need a car to stay here if you want to get about and explore the area but roads are great and there is one bay Zitna that is walking distance. Zavalatica is lovely with a shop open daily, a couple of restaurants and a bar - so everything you need really! Fresh bread available every morning and the bar has to most amazing pizzas! Honestly can't recommend this place enough, the apartment is very large and would have easily fitted 4 people without feeling crampt. The only suggestion I have is there was a lack of coffee pot or kettle? Other than this the kitchen was well equiped for cooking if you wanted to dine in on the lovely balcony (which we did quite a few times!)

soggiorno agel of the adriatic, agosto 2011

abbiamo soggiornato per una settimana nell'alloggio al piano superiore. l'appartamento è molto bello, pulito, ben attrezzato e con una bellissima vista sul mare. è l'ideale per una vacanza di assoluto relax, in quanto situato in un piccolo paese, poco movimentato, ma vicino alle spiagge di maggior interesse. consigliato a tutti!!
