Queen Victorian Home, Walking distance to downtown

Built in 1896, and utilized by the Presbyterian Church until 1950. This house has a lot of history with space for all your needs. Whether you are a large family, hosting a get together for the weekend, or here on business this house has everything you need. Walking distance to downtown provides easy access to exciting bars and restaurants, the Croswell Opera House, Chaloners, local farmers market, and shops. House is centrally located to many lakes in the area and 45 min. drive to Ann Arbor.

The space
This is a chance to stay in a historic mansion. This house has enough space to accommodate all your needs. Tired of paying for two rooms or just need more space then a hotel. Our family strives to make your stay comfortable and we continue to upgrade, renovate, and maintain this historic gem. If you are into history you can look up the address online to find the unique history this house has. Multiple articles have been written related to the house., professional filming for an episode on a popular tv series, and a teaser video for a music video.

You will have access to the entire finished house and basement. The house is not shared during your stay. The home has ADT security monitoring with exterior cameras. You will be given an access code prior to stay.

Please note that all bedrooms are located on second floor and full bathrooms are on 2nd and 3rd floors. 3rd floor bathroom not temperature controlled.

This was our 2nd stay at this beautiful home and we had another wonderful trip. This historical home has been well taken care of and we enjoyed all of the architectural details. We've never stayed in a home that is as well stocked as this one, they have literally thought of everything. The beds were comfortable, plenty of towels, and fully stocked kitchen. Our group of 9 had plenty of space and spanned the ages of 3 to 74. This home is perfect for large groups, families, small children, etc. We can't wait to visit again in the future

Beautiful large house. We truly enjoyed our time together here. We had 7 adults and we had plenty of room to relax and enjoy. There are plenty of restaurants and shopping nearby. Great communication with the hosts. We definitely would love to return in the future!

Fantastic Gathering Spot

We recently started here with family over graduation weekend. We couldn’t have asked for a more perfect experience. There was plenty of room for everyone and being within walking distance to downtown was fantastic. Absolutely beautiful, historic property. Wonderful home

We enjoyed several days with extended family from across the country. The home is clean, and well stocked. Little details like nightlights ad makeup wipes are well attended. We've stayed here before, and enjoyed coming back!

Perfect for big or small groups!

We had a wonderful stay at this historic Victorian home. It's super close to downtown with bars and restaurants and cute shops. It's clean and comfortable. It was the perfect getaway for our group of friends.

Great location for family wedding shower

This is our second time staying and hosting a family gathering. The house has beautiful historical details, lots of super clean bedrooms and big rooms with comfortable furniture for a family gathering. I grew up nearby but now live out of state and it is great to find a nice centrally located place to host family events. The owners were very responsive and provided what was needed to make our stay special. Thank you for sharing this Victorian beauty with us.

Great family friendly large home!

Megan was a great hostess and answered every question promptly. We had a wonderful time with our family in this large Victorian home. The stained glass windows were so beautiful, as well as original detail.. Our family found it very comfortable and intriguing.

Amazing place

The house is amazing with tons of history to it! If you want to stay in an amazing house with a classic vibe about it, this how is perfect for you! Megan is on top of your stay from the time you book the property until you leave. She makes sure you have everything you need for an amazing and relaxing stay! Perfect for Family Wedding Weekend

This amazing historic home met and exceeded all my expectations. It was so clean and comfortable and absolutely beautifully appointed and decorated. My family and I had more room than we knew what to do with and there were so many interesting and unique historic details to discover. I can’t recommend this place highly enough. Communication with the host was outstanding as well. Highly recommend!
