Buffalo Cabin

Step into a relaxing & nature filled world with this peaceful one room secluded cabin. Set beside a lovely pond and surrounded by trees, it’s the perfect spot to get away. ☀️

This property boasts 150 acres of land to explore, hike, bike, ride UTV/ATV’s (not provided), fish, relax, and enjoy! Feel free to jump in a pond and swim or take a kayak down the creek.

There is a secluded dock to relax, a cozy front porch to watch the sunrise or sunset, and it’s very own fire pit to end the day. This is exclusive to Buffalo Cabin! Also on the property is a shared pavilion with a propane grill and a large shared fire pit. Kayaks are available to journey down the creek or casually float around in the ponds.

Lots of animals call this property home! There are roosters, chickens, cats, and a very friendly dog.

The cabin is set up for maximum comfort with provided linens, towels, pillows, blankets, mini-fridge, mini-stove, microwave, pots/pans, dishes, cups, and silverware.

We loved our stay here! It was cozy and romantic. I had planned it as a surprise for my partner - imagine my surprise when the evening turned chilly and he pulled out a hoodie with a buffalo on the front!We had a nice bonfire, listened to the coyotes howl at the full moon, cooked dinner and breakfast for two, and got lots of quality time with sweet sugarface Denali, who faithfully kept watch outside our door during the night and was waiting there for us in the morning. She joined us for a walk and lead me around by my sleeve. So sweet and silly. We also got to meet one cat, one pig, and so many goats who gave lots of kisses.The time spent sitting on the dock just watching & listening to the water was comforting and brought back lots of memories of being a kid at my grandparents' lake cabin. It was good for my soul.Carrie was so communicative and lovely. She made sure I had all the info needed to get us there and enjoy our time. She even sent me pictures and names of many of her sweet animals in advance! I'd love to return someday.

Beautiful and peaceful space. Exactly what I was looking for. Denali and the kittens were a special treat, and the experience would not have been the same without them. I miss Denali. The pigs and goats were fun too. I loved the kayaks, and taking the golf cart to all the ponds, fishing, and picnicking. The little town a few miles away was perfect to get anything you may have forgotten or to get ice for coolers. The cabin was comfortable and had everything you could need. The perfect spot to enjoy by yourself or with lots of family! I'll be back!!

This was one of the most relaxing well thought out places to stay if you want to get away. The host are fantastic responsive and want you to enjoy your time while you're there. I could go on and on but for the price you can't have it more relaxing weekend.

Fun!

We had a great time. It was a random little getaway. The only thing that we wished was different was the cabin was not really clean. There were spiders inside and dust, and it looked like it hadn’t been cleaned, and then the couch and pillows were dusty and the shower looked like it wasn’t cleaned. They do have kayaks, but they were really dirty like they should have a special place for kayaks to stand them up or hang them on something that way they are off of the ground, but we did utilize them they were just very dirty. Those are just small things that we wished were different. Other than that we loved the cabin we will be back at some point. You could see the stars so good at night. It truly was so beautiful! The dog was so sweet too!

Amazing!

This was the perfect weekend getaway! The cabin is adorable and super cozy! We did a lot of fishing and kayaking. Our dogs had fun too and enjoyed Denali visiting us. We will definitely be back. Thank you!

Relax and romance at the Buffalo

Cabin was perfect for a couples getaway. We felt very secluded and private. Cabin had everything we needed to get through our stay. Of course bring your own food and refreshments but it had the necessities. Denali and our pooch Merlot got along great!!! We are already planning our trip back.

My husband and I stayed in the Buffalo cabin for a quick last-minute weekend away. The cabin was cozy with everything you would need and having our own fire pit was the best. We loved how peaceful it all was and really enjoyed our stay.

Perfect place to get away!

Our stay was perfect! The property is beautiful and the cabin was clean (and adorable!!!). Scott and Carrie are so friendly and inviting. The ranch dog, Denali, is an absolute angel and we loved hanging out with her. I would recommend this property to others and hope to visit again in the future.

Heaven on Earth

This is a great get away spot to relax and enjoy yourselves. Our cabin was nice and comfortable and we had the best time fishing and kayaking in peace. Scott and Carrie are excellent hosts and their dog Denali likes to welcome you also. Thanks so much Scott and Carrie, we loved being there.

Nice little cabin

I nice little cabin with a tin roof. The futon sleeps two better than I thought it would! Good enough amenities make for a pleasant stay and the AC works well. Loved the dog that roams the property too.

I really enjoyed my stay. So much so that I'm going back! And my dogs seemed comfortable there, too. It would be nice if there was some more shade at the cabin, but it is in a Kansas field. LOL Overall, a great stay and the owners were very responsive to any questions I had. Denali is great, too!

Short but sweet

Went for a funeral and needed to be in the country to mourn because that's where we love to be. Wife loved the property and wants one just like it. Host were great and accommodating. The creek and ponds were nice too.

Mother’s Day Weekend

I couldn’t think of a better way to spend Mother’s Day weekend. We stayed in two small cabins, both were very clean and beautifully decorated. Air conditioning worked great too! Cabins well stocked with all cooking needs, grill accessible and fire pit was perfect. It is hard to say what the best part was- kayaking or fishing! Shared a lot of laughs in our kayaks and caught (and released) several fish. The hosts were also fantastic, quick to communicate and help when asked. We will definitely be staying at this property again.

Birthday Weekend Getaway!

We booked this stay for my boyfriend’s birthday. We try to do something remote and serene each year to have a peaceful weekend. The cabin is by itself off to one side of the property. You can build a fire and relax, grill out, cook inside..and enjoy the peace and quiet outside. There is a shower and bathroom in the cabin, and a fold out sofa to sleep on. We went fishing in a few of the ponds on the property, and our dog Whiskey enjoyed their dog Denali’s company. We definitely will be back for a restful weekend! Thank you guys for your hospitality and going above and beyond making our stay extra special!!!
