The Château is lovingly cared for by Julia, originally from Australia. An artist and designer by trade, Julia has renovated this magnificent estate to create a wooded wonderland with its beautiful bedrooms, quintessential rustic French period features, walled garden, peaceful swimming pool, stunning Event Hall, woodlands and seasonal lake.

The Château is available for exclusive rental, meaning you will have complete, private access to the entire estate. Hold your ceremony under the decorated arch to the walled garden, celebrate with your loved ones with a cocktail reception overlooking lavender and wisteria and dine and dance the night away in our dedicated Grand Events Hall.

The Château's Grand Event Hall, once a royal livery, can accommodate up to 80 people for a sit down event. The Hall features an excellent catering kitchen for your suppliers to use as well as separate washroom facilities for your guests to use.

The Hall retains many of its original features including its wooden beams in the high ceiling which have been painstakingly restored, as well as a trough which runs the full length of the building, harking back to the Hall’s days as a livery for the French royal family.

This can be beautifully decorated with greenery to wonderful effect and we will be here to help provide support and suggestions on how to get the most out of this special space.

The large windows along the wall facing the chateau, makes it a beautifully airy space with views across the gardens, planted with iris and lavender, and back up to the Château.

There is plenty of space for a bar area and top table and you are welcome to hire in chairs and tables to suit your style. The look is completed with elegant chandeliers and a solid oak floor, giving an aura of bohemian chic meets timeless sophistication.

The Private Chapel is available for your intimate vow ceremony, a private dinner under the stars or a tranquil meditation space. Decorated with a deep blue ceiling and twinkling golden stars, this special place is yours to enjoy.

The Château boasts an elegant dining room which has recently been refurbished and its warm, rich decor is ideal for a more intimate event or special dinner. With views of the fountain and gardens, and gently lit by three beautiful chandeliers, this is a very special space which creates a grand yet tranquil ambience for you and your guests.

Amongst the 12 acres of glorious gardens and ancient woodlands, you will find the extensive walled gardens which look through a beautiful entrance-way back up to the Château itself.

This is an ideal place for a wedding ceremony, framed by an arch and the backdrop of bountiful nature and the beautiful Château. The space would also work perfectly for a drinks reception or al-fresco dining space for your wedding or event. On the estate you will also find ample room to erect a marquee for larger celebrations.

The Château also offers a beautiful swimming pool in the peaceful surroundings of the estate's grounds. The swimming pool is available to all guests staying at the Château and can be incorporated into your celebrations for weddings and events. Enjoy a pool party and BBQ with your guests underneath the French sun, surrounded by nature and tranquil atmosphere.
