It was wonderful and so peaceful! We enjoyed our gift that was delivered to us for our anniversary as well. The kitchen was set up very well and accessible. Loved everything about the place. The only thing we missed having was a fire pit outside. But overall it was amazing! We will stay again and have been telling everyone we know it was our best cabin ever!

Anniversary get away

Cabin interior and exterior as described in pics. Inviting, relaxing, and lots of attention to detail. Three star rating is simply for location - across the road was a cabin with lots of partying happening - not anything our cabin owners could do - but pics *kinda* betray the privacy of the cabin. The porch area is fantastic - but not when you can hear, "CHUG, CHUG, CHUG!" I'd love to come back - but I would book during the week, and not a weekend again, simply for the quietness that we love in the outdoors. But this is for nearly all of Hochatown's cabins - they give the impression that you're secluded, when that's really not the case.

Cozy and Relaxing

This cabin is absolutely beautiful. It was cleaned and nicely decorated. The location was peaceful ,and I loved hearing the nature sounds each day. We loved the pond on property even though we did not have any luck catching fish this time. The cabin is also conveniently located near some great restaurants. Overall we enjoyed our stay and it was perfect for a weekend away to have a “baby moon”.

Relaxating Getaway

Lovers Pond is a relaxing and quiet place to get away!! We loved our stay with our two dogs! The best part is the fenced and gated deck, with a fireplace, hot tub and tv. We spent most of our time there and listened to the lovely fountain in the pond and the rain, as it rained most of the time we were there. So that made the covered deck an awesome place to be with our pups!! Thank you for sharing this lovely cabin. We will definitely be returning!!

Great couples cabin

This cabin was great for couples or a small family and pet friendly. The cabin was spotless upon arrival. Everything at the cabin was new, clean and working. The outdoor patio was great with a clean and comfy outdoor couch, tv and fireplace. Perfect location right in the middle of everything. Property is well maintained and well cared for. Highly recommend.

Absolutely the best home away from home

Every accommodation was exactly as advertised. Our host Michelle was the best. Our stay was extremely comfortable scenery around lovers pond was so peaceful. We spent a lot of time around the fire pit at night. Beautiful. Surprisingly there were no mosquitoes anywhere. Highly recommend Lovers Pond for couples or families that just need a peaceful get away that is quiet but close to anything needed and other activities. Thank you Michelle for creating a beautiful place and sharing with others.

Anniversary Stay

I want to first off say how excellent Michele was with accommodating our stay with adjusting our dates due to a family emergency. The property was as advertised and very clean. We loved the porch and out dogs enjoyed it as well. We will definitely stay here again! RW

Best weekend ever

This cabin truly had everything we could possibly need and the location was perfect. We made every meal at home, and were so impressed by the thoughtfulness behind everything. It even had Caraway cookware! We brought the dogs and enjoyed spending time on the patio with them watching TV. It rained while we were there are the ambiance was incredible. We felt like we hit the lottery with this cabin and are looking forward to staying here again!

loved the cabin and location! Pet friendly :) and our pup loved it! The hot tub, fireplace, and large porch is in the front, so the placement of the cameras was a little awkward. overall wonderful experience.

Enjoyed our stay

The cabin was clean and neat. It had one of the best stocked kitchens of any cabin I have stayed in. I’ve stayed in a bunch. My only complaint/wish is the hot tub ( which is on the front porch, had an additional screen next to the one facing the front and screens to block out the construction company’s awful light that shines in your eyes when you are in the hot tub. I would recommend this cabin to friends

Beautiful private retreat

Excellent property that is well maintained and was stocked with everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms. The animal/kiddie gate on the deck was perfect to keep our furry child from wandering while we hung out in the spa or on the couch. Would definitely recommend - only downside is it's fairly close to the main road so you will hear traffic every now and then and there's a construction business a few hundred feet behind the property so you occasionally get some noise from that but overall it's not bad and definitely wouldn't keep us from booking in the future.

Our first visit to Broken Bow was many years ago—a much-needed escape from the chaos of raising six kids, juggling full-time jobs, and pursuing education. Money was tight, but stepping away to reconnect was something we couldn’t afford not to do.

That first trip was life-changing. It reminded us how essential it is to pause, recharge, and focus on what truly matters—each other. Since then, we’ve made it a tradition to return at least once a year (though we aim for more whenever we can).

Now, with our children grown and the joy of grandparenting in full swing, we’re beyond grateful to be in a position to own this luxury cabin. Lover’s Pond is our way of paying it forward—offering others a chance to experience the same peace, connection, and renewal that changed our lives.

It’s truly our pleasure to share this space with you. Whether you're here to relax, reconnect, or celebrate something special, we hope it becomes a place of lasting memories for you, just as it has been for us.
