Bare minimum

This is a luxury-finished bare bones place. We found we needed side tables at the bed. Also missing we're tissues, coffee, creamer, and sugar. It was really handy to have the washer and dryer, with complementary soap. We were comfortable, but didn't feel like the owner was interested in caring for other people, only in making money. I would not recommend this place to a friend. The rolling door to the toilet and shower rolls itself open unless you hold it closed, so plan on giving each other a show. The toilet is loose from the floor and rattles unnervingly. The cleaning fee seems way too high for what this place requires and we found ourselves unwilling to make any effort at tidying up as a result of the ridiculous charges. Basically, it looks really good, like a show home, but the overall vibe is cold and unwelcoming.

Awesome stay but...

My girlfriend and I had an amazing stay here. I really enjoyed the location of the place. It was super clean and cozy. I was not let down! There are a lot of local restaurants nearby, and so is the jetty. I will definitely be looking forward to a future stay. One thing I didn't enjoy is the lack of parking and it's enforcing. The advertisement states 1 parking spot, but when we showed up there were none. I parked next door to get things sorted out and the neighbors started cussing us out and said we can't park there either. I did inquire about this to the number given but it was not enforced. We found ourselves trying to find a spot in front. Finally my girlfriend and I said this will not ruin our trip and is not a battle to keep fighting for, and we found a spot around the corner and across the street. Overall it was a great stay and I would recommend. Unless you have elderly then there are a lot of stairs and may have to walk for parking.

Heater doesn’t work

The heater was not working and I couldn’t stay my second night due to shivering all night my first night there. Other than that it is a beautiful property!

Walk to everything!

Loved that we could walk to all the shops, restaurants, and the crabbing docks. Rockaway beach was a very quick drive down the road and easy access to the beach. Very nicely stocked and clean unit!

Gorgeous, cozy apartment with high quality finishings

The property looks brand new and is gorgeous. The furniture and kitchen utensils and plates were high quality. The neighborhood was very quiet, we didn't even hear any barking dogs. Very convenient location. Definitely will stay here again!

Brand new apartment, modern and cozy

We enjoyed our weekend getaway. Garibaldi is such a cute little town. We walked a lot, drove to Rockaway beach and enjoyed the sunset. The apartment is very central and parking is no issue (someone complaint about parking, but there is one dedicated parking space two steps away from main entrance and there is plenty of street parking east of the apartment). I was super impressed by the fully stocked kitchen, super large fridge with icemaker and water dispenser. Kitchen has granit counters and lots of counter space to cook your own meals. The beds are very comfy and there is plenty of room to store your clothes. If anything, the apartment is missing some decent lighting. The bedrooms did not have little night lamps, one had to get up and find the main switch to the ceiling lamp, and oh boy where those lights bright. I ended up using my cell phone light and propped it in one corner to create some dim light. Same for bathroom and living room. The lights were ultra-bright, and I was dearly missing a floor lamp or some small table light. We couldn't turn on the main light switch in the living room, since the room has no curtains or shades and we would feel so exposed by the very bright lights once the sun was down. We tried to use the microwave light or the stove lights :) Anyway, this was the only flaw that I wanted to address. Also, if someone has trouble with stairs, this is not the right place to stay. A steep staircase leads to the upper floor, where all the rooms are. We really enjoyed our stay here. Please let us know when you got some accent lights and we will come back soon.

Loved it 💕

This was the best place everything brand new. Very comfortable just like home. The only thing the water pressure in bathroom not that great and hot water didn't last. Shower 🚿 up way to high. There also should have been options to have blinds in the living room. Would definitely 😁 stay here again.

Great new little apt in downtown Garibaldi!

I loved that it was all new and included a washer/dryer. Walking distance to restaurants and stores. You can hear the train every morning! I gave 4 stars because the Internet was spotty and parking is very limited!
