First time in South Lake Tahoe.

The location is great walking distance to everything. My kids had a blast. I just wished it was a little more updated. But everything was perfect.

Great location! Perfect amount of space for my whole family!

We loved this property! It was a perfect location and close to everything. There were few things that can be updated but overall was clean and very spacious for the whole family! The owners were very responsive and were helpful.

Excellent stay

Just as described and the place has everything for our stay. We bought condiments and cooking stuff planning to cook some meals but found it totally unnecessary as the kitchen was fully stocked! Literally feels like home. Highly recommended.

perfect location

Overall a good stay for a snow ski vacation. Happened that the gondola was out of order the whole time we stay at house. Hot tub & fire place were hits.

Fantastic 40th birthday spot

Perfect house for our friends for my husbands 40th birthday weekend. Walking distance from everything downtown, comfy beds, host was communicative but not invasive, and a lovely hot tub under the stars at night. Also, the bonus kitchen was clutch for cooking for a large group.

Family get together

We flew in to visit family but their house is not big enough for all of us plus the dogs. This home is perfect for lots of family members. Loved this upstairs and downstairs kitchen and the deck that surrounds the house. The decor is an outdated but it was very clean & had everything we needed. The host really needs to sweep the pine needles as they overran the yard & have sap which sticks to clothes & hair. Other than that, we loved it & will stay next time

Great house and location for ski trip to heavenly!

Our group really enjoyed our stay here in South lake Tahoe. The house is very nice and has plenty of space for large groups. We were able to very comfortably fit 11-12 people throughout the stay, anything over that might be a little tight but still doable. Parking was great and you can fit 2 cars in front of the house and two in the driveway. Location is prime and central to everything. Bars and restaurants are close by and a grocery store is across the street. It's about a ten minute walk to the gondola that we made every day in ski gear in the snow without any trouble. The kitchens are well equipped for cooking. The hot tub was great after a day on the slopes. The host was great and responds quickly to questions. Highly recommend booking this house!

Good but needs a few updates.

Areas of improvement. Downstairs toilet needs repairing-float issue. Upstairs refrigerator non functional. Downstairs refrigerator latch to close busted. Overall could use a better cleaning.

Great location, house in need of repair

House is well located, easy check in, but we left less than satisfied with our stay for a few reasons. The garage roof was leaking during our stay, leaving a sheet of ice on the garage floor. Roof eventually collapsed on our last day. House has two kitchens, but the stove in the downstairs kitchen did not work, so we had to shuttle things up and down for meal prep. Something was wrong with the hot tub, water was very dirty. Barely enough towels for the number of people. I understand certain things can pop up with a home, and we were there during the crazy weather, but having all this during a 5 day stay negatively impacted our experience.

This place is a mess !!!

This place needs to be completely remodeled ! And there are no master bedrooms !!! None of the bedrooms have their own private baths.!!! And the place is in complete original condition. When we arrived, the place was filthy, and neither sets of washer/dryers were working ! We were told to take our shoes off when we were at home - My grandkids feet were BLACK from the carpet and floors - they are full of sap! And we could not clean the floors or carpets - BECAUSE THERE WAS NO BROOM, MOP, OR VACUUM at the house !!! And neither of two refrigerators were working. The downstairs stove was so filthy, that they came out measure to change it out. Same with the BBQ- they had 2 bring us new BBQ and a new refrigerator- 2 days into our stay, This was a horrible experience for myself and my family. Although this is an A+ location - the owner needs to invest some $$$ if they wish to continue to ask $700- $1100 a night. The property manager was easy to get in touch with, and they did get back to us quickly, but we had to have them get us new appliances and cleaning supplies - that should not be part of a VRBO experience, as i have rented home sin Tahoe for 25+ years Then, a week later, they are trying to charge me ( they requested) for 2 extra nights - when i already paid for 11 nights !!! Do your self a favor- find another property to rent in South Lake Tahoe -

GREAT LOCATION FOR EVERYTHING !

This is one of the BEST spots in SLT if you have a large crowd who like to do different things or activities. I took 8-9 of us to Tahoe to spend time with family b4 my son leaves for his deployment . The only request from the Mr. was to have a hot tub and this DID NOT disappoint- everyone had a chance to use it in the 3.5 days we had. My hubs was in heaven. Some of us took the 5 minute walk down to the beach/marina and took some pics and just enjoyed the beauty and a few from our crowd walked to shops one afternoon. Such a convenient location and its on a court/cul d sac so we were able to enjoy outside with little or no traffic. We BBq'd one night and played corn hole and one night went the Base camp pizza at the gondola . With our large crowd we did have to buy more tp but not a big deal as Raleys is right up the road. The King beds were super comfy. I did misread and think there was double bed in both the bunkbed rooms but it wasnt a big deal b/c the couch was a hide a bed . We all had space if we wanted and well the weather in October was waaay warmer than we expected but it was perfect. Oh and the fireplace early in the morning was so lovely and comfy- The Mr had it going early so it'd be warm and cozy when everyone came downstairs. Id definately rent this place again - there was plenty of room and glad to have a washer and dryer as well !
