'RIVER HAVEN' is a serene riverside cabin on the Rogue River

Our clean, rustic style cabin is a tranquil setting on the Rogue River, a perfect spot for bird watching ( Eagles, Ospreys and so many bird and duck varieties) and fishing (salmon, steelhead). Dine al fresco on the large wrap around deck. There is a large grassy lawn with a shallow walk- in beach on the river. The deck is completely surrounded with a fence with gates for child safety. The home is fully furnished with every comfort and amenity one could wish for, including BBQ and fire pit. Just 5 minutes drive to all the amenities of Shady Cove. This is a perfect spot to enjoy the many hiking trails, or relax at one of the nearby wineries. Historic Crater Lake and Ashland's famous Shakespeare Festival are just 45 minutes away. Come and enjoy!

The house was perfect for our family of four. Everything was clean and organized. The river was right int he backyard and there was okenty of deck space to sit out back and enjoy the peacefulness. Will definitely be booking again!

This property is stunning and stocked with everything you need to instantly feel at home! We spent the majority of our time out on the deck or fishing from the yard, waving at the guides as they passed by or couples in their rafts. We were greeted by the neighborhood cat, Dante, and he lounged with us most days. This was our second trip and we’re looking forward to the next one!

I first contacted Vicky about 6 months before our stay and she answered the questions I had and then told me to contact her closer to our date of stay. Vicky answered everything I asked and provided so much local information about things to do and places to go. She was pretty quick with responses and was a great host.The location was great, right on the river and the house was perfect. It had pretty much all that we needed and was clean. The instructions were clear and we knew what the process was for check out. Now locating the house in the dark was a challenge, but we got used to it.Overall, everything was great.

My family of 5 had a great stay here. Beautiful views and fully stocked kitchen. Vicky was quick to respond. We attended a wedding at rogue river lodge and it was a perfect location.

Family Reunion in Trail Oregon

The property is exactly as described in the listing. The property felt like home. The beds were comfortable, plenty of linens. The view of the river from the living room picture window is something we would love to wake up to every morning. Our two grandsons loved having the river so close, you can fish right off the river. Vicki was always very responsive with any questions I had. We enjoyed the property and hope to rent it again the next time we travel to Oregon(:

Perfect river cabin

Cabin was perfect for all of our day trips to Crater Lake and Rogue Pass. So close to Medford Airport which was great for travel to and from. Vicky is an excellent host and everything was exactly as listed. It was so nice to come home from our daily adventures and sit by the Rogue River and listen to the water flow by. Definitely an excellent place to stay! Highly recommend!

Our stay at River Haven was wonderful. The house is perfect. It is clean, cozy, and has everything a traveler might need. We visited Crater Lake, floated the Rogue River, and spent every evening enjoying the lovely decks at the house overlooking the river. We thoroughly enjoyed River Haven.

Great Riverside Location

We fished right off the bank and enjoyed the firepit in the evening. The house was very comfortable and well stocked with everything we needed. We especially liked the awesome deck and birds. Great, responsive owner!

Our stay at beautiful River Haven!

My husband and I had a wonderful 5 days at River Haven! The cabin was adorable and so comfy. Kitchen had everything you would need if you plan on cooking. We spent most of our time outside on one of the 3 decks watching all the fisherman and rafters go by. My husband even tried fly fishing for the first time and really enjoyed it! We took a day trip up to crater lake and couldn’t believe how beautiful it was! And to top it all off we had the neighborhood Siamese cat, Dante, visit us every day. We really enjoyed his company! Even though it was a long drive from where we live in CA we’re already talking about returning next year! Thank you Vicky!

Comfortable Rivers Edge stay

Very comfortable stay! The kitchen was fully stocked, plenty of space and furniture to relax in. The beds and bedding were awesome!! Loved being on the river and had many options on outdoor relaxation. Also nice that there was travel info for places to explore in the area. Thanks for the opportunity for the stay so we could enjoy the beautiful area!

Outstanding Scenic Stay

Cozy cabin right on the Rogue River with very comfortable beds! We loved sitting out on the outdoor deck and taking in views of the river and trees. Perfect spot for traveling up to Crater Lake. Would definitely book again. Vicky was a great host. Thank you!

River Haven Stay

This cute little house was perfect for our trip to Oregon. The interior of the house is nicely decorated and very comfortable. And the deck is fabulous! It overlooks the Rogue River and encourages you to relax and watch the world go by— or at least the river. It is close to local attractions Like River rafting and hiking.

Relaxing Weekend

We had a great stay at River Haven! It was so cozy and inviting inside and even with the smoke in the air, it was still nice to sit out by the river and relax. Highly recommend and will stay again if in the area!
