House and property were very nice. Spent quite a bit of time around the pool. Kids loved it. It was in a good location to visit the national parks. And close to pretty much anything you might want or need!

Great Location

We rented the property since it was close to the event we were attending. House is great space inside and out. Shops are close and restaurants. Owner is very communicative. We will definitely stay here again for future.

The decor is nice, there’s lots of natural light, and the open layout feels welcoming. It’s definitely a step above many other vacation rentals we’ve tried. That said, there were a few disappointing maintenance issues that took away from the experience. The water pressure was noticeably low (especially the faucets), and the hot water temperature fluctuated quite a bit, making it hard to get a consistently comfortable shower. We also noticed a couple of broken floor tiles/pieces in high-traffic areas, several outlets that didn’t work at all, and one of the beds had a broken frame We reached out to the property manager right away to report everything, and they were responsive — someone came out to inspect the issues a few days later. Unfortunately, we were told there wasn’t much that could be done immediately to resolve most of the problems during our stay. While it’s understandable that not everything can be fixed on the spot, it did leave us feeling a bit let down given how otherwise impressive the home is.

Home for the swim meet

My son had a big meet Wednesday through Sunday. We booked this home as we had family meeting us. It was the perfect little home to stay at and the kids loved the pool. I would definitely stay here again.

Excellent place for family

Our stay was comfortable and pleasant. Our family really enjoyed the place and the pool. The dish washer wasn’t working properly, but it’s really no big deal, we just hand washed when we make simple food. Overall, it was great! I would recommend the property to family and friends.

This place is a gem!

Very clean. Great location in Fresno. Quiet and walkable neighborhood. Comfortable beds. Responsive managers. No issues with checkin or anything! Swimming pool pristine. Small but really, really cute play area for kids. My husband and I travel to Fresno three or four times a year. This property is our absolute favorite by far! Will be our first choice for rebooking!

This house does NOT sleep 10 people, it sleeps 6. There were no futons as advertised, and the blow up mattresses provided were terrible. One had a huge cut in it, and the other was so flat it may as well have been a pool float. The host did have a new blowup mattress delivered on the 3rd day of our stay, but honestly if I had known any of us would be sleeping on blow up beds I wouldn’t have booked this place. I reached out to the host regarding the lack of futons, and my concerns went unanswered. I did not book a house that sleeps 6, I booked a house that was supposed to sleep 10. The shower in the main bedroom has terrible water pressure, and doesn’t accommodate anyone over 5’6”. The water trickles so slowly in that shower that the water never got hot, so it was unusable and we all had to share one shower. There were several areas of threshold between the carpet and flooring that were severely damaged. This property has a lot of potential but my opinion is that it is under managed. It is convenient to Yosemite and Sequoia Parks. We visited Fresno because our son is stationed at Lemoore Naval Air Station, and it was convenient for him to stay with us since he couldn’t come home for the holidays. We traveled from PA, and found the misrepresentations in the listing extremely inconvenient

Our thoughts

Mosquitoes were terrible inside and out Internet went out daily around 3 and didnt come back on till after we went to bed. Never an outage in the neighborhood. The nest thermostat didnt work right the whole stay. Said restarting and stayed that way. Pool net has a huge hole, could not skim pool. Landscappers showed up at 5pm on Saturday, just as our food went on the grill 😕

very poorly managed

place was remolded and looks good on pictures, good location place is not stocked in the kitchen fans in bedroom only work if light is on, screen door are hard to work, there was no gas in the can for bar-b-que arrived with garage door code, opened and door to house was locked, called property manager, no call back, went around back, luck would have it someone had not locked the bed room slider or we would staying in a motel, never heard from property mgr, also opened dishwasher and it was full of black water

Misleading listing

We booked this house based on the listing that stated it would sleep 10. After arriving at the house it became obvious that the owners listing is an exaggeration of what was available. Listing says there are two sleeper sofa/futons available, not true at all! They have two sofas, not sleeper sofas or futons. The back cushions are not removable so what is left is a skinny sofa cushion, not at all comfortable for anyone others than a child to sleep on. If I'd know this I would not have booked this property. We stayed there for a week so this caused a hardship for members of my family. Also. when we checked in there was what looked like and smelled like some kind of bug spray on the floor around the refrigerator, not OK when you have a one year old crawling on the floor. For the price I expected something a lot better.

House is nice but covered in ants

The check-in and check-out process was convenient. The house is in a nice area. It is a fairly nice place with good amenities except that the pool is unuseable in the fall/winter since it is not heated. But the ants…. Oh geeze. The ants are weirdly not even in the kitchen where the food is but in both master bedrooms. So every night you’re basically sleeping with ants crawling in your hair and on your body. I’m not squeamish about ants so I just dealt with it. Seemed like a nice location and the house was nice. I know the homeowners knew about the ant problem because we see some sticky substance sprayed all along the baseboards. Seems someone had sprayed ant poison all over the floor. Which was concerning for our toddler. I’m grateful it’s ants and not cockroaches tho at least cuz that, I cannot do. But it does kind of suck to finally be home and still find them crawling in our suitcases, purses, hair, clothes and makeup.

Management Style was very different than what I am used to

Ad says sleeps 10 but the air mattresses were useless. I think the renter should verify the mattresses work since the stay was for 9 people. Who knows how long they have been damaged. We also got the sense that we were being "spied" on. A man parked out front for awhile and then we saw someone walking around the backyard and it was not a service person. We think it was the man in the car. It was very difficult to get timely responses from the staff. We got our official "key" the night before we were leaving for Fresno. Due to a family emergency, we were going to arrive earlier than planned, so we asked about an early check-in. We never got a response, so I just sat in my car in the driveway until check-in. I put a high value on customer service and having to do everything online is fine. In fact, I prefer doing things online. But, when the outgoing messages keep saying that they want to make your stay a "5 star experience", the facts don't support that claim. During our stay, I deliberately didn't respond right away to their emails about "how was your first night's stay?" and "when will you be checking out?". I wanted them to see what it felt like to be ignored. The house itself is nice. It was roomy, comfortable and very nicely decorated. the backyard is very beautiful. The only downside to renting this unit was dealing with the staff.
