Nestled in the tranquil High Meadows neighborhood, this ranch-style home provides a wonderful base camp from which to explore the region. Located near the base of Heavenly, hitting the slopes is super-convenient. In warmer months, El Dorado Beach is just a short drive away for sunning, swimming, and kayaking. Hikers will find the Star Lake Trailhead within a short drive, offering a 10-mile round trip advanced hike to the beautiful namesake alpine lake.

Inside your vacation home, cozy up in front of the wood-burning fireplace in the inviting living area and watch a movie on the 32-inch TV. Whip up delectable meals in the well-equipped kitchen, outfitted with a full suite of appliances, ample cookware, and helpful gadgets. When your creations are ready, gather at the table, or perch at the kitchen bar.

After a fun-filled day of alpine adventures, unwind with a soak in the private hot tub or fire up the gas grill and enjoy a cookout. Two large decks offer ample space to relax in the fresh mountain air.

This home does not have air-conditioning.
Tahoe is home to many animals. You may experience bears, raccoons, mice, and other animals. Meadows are home to many rodents. When these areas are filled with water or snow, these animals move to homes in the area. You may experience these animals in or near your home.

Damage waiver: The total cost of your reservation for this Property includes a nightly damage waiver fee, plus tax if applicable (the “Damage Waiver”). (A discount may be applied for stays of 28 nights or longer, if permitted.) The Damage Waiver covers you for up to $3,000 of accidental damage to the Property or its contents (such as furniture, fixtures, and appliances) as long as you report the incident to the host prior to checking out. The Damage Waiver fee eliminates the need for a traditional security deposit.

Great location

The home was spacious and filled with many great amenities. We enjoyed the hot tub the most. The kitchen had everything that we needed. I reccomend this place.

Perfect Get a Way

Property was clean. It is in a neighborhood but felt super private. We had a great time. No problems at all. Check in and out instructions were very clear

place is beautiful. perfect location. next to heavenly ski resort which was my goal.

The house provided a hot tub, fireplace, and pool table. We often cook ourselves and think the kitchen could have used more kitchen staples such as oil, pam spray, scrub pads, ect. The house itself was very comfortable and in a great location. The management team was very attentive with assisting us if there was ever any issue.

Great Vacation

Awesome spot close to snowboarding and the casinos. The pool table and hot tub made hanging out in the cabin a blast. I will definitely be back for winter.

This house is the best. I will rent this house again. I will be telling my friends and family about it also. It was exactly as advertised.

Good Tahoe Rental Home

Nice location. Pretty setting. Nice decks. We had a short stay, but enjoyed the hot tub and the pool table a lot. Stairs are narrow and seemed steep - master bedroom is on the main level, with two bedrooms downstairs. Beds are high and were difficult for this short gal to get into and out of. Cute Tahoe furniture and decor. Kitchen mostly well equipped.

Great little cozy vacation home

Perfect location, great for spending time with your family in the scenic Tahoe area. Nice Jacuzzi for after a long day of hiking or skiing and a kitchen for everything you need to cook family sized meals. Some smart Tv's would of been great for streaming shows with the kids (we were there for a Xmas ski trip so watching old ski an Xmas movies would of been a cool evening), not a crazy inconvenience though. Had a good time in a safe and comfortable little home with my family, what else could I need beside that? Would stay here again for sure.

Mouse House

Infestation of mice that caused us to have to relocate! We had to submit video evidence for the relocation to be approved, and we kept the video. The house itself is in dire need of a complete renovation. A(very) partial list: electrical outlets won’t hold a plug, screen doors don’t work, shower on main level has the shower head FACING the shower door: how do you enter the shower without shooting water all over the bathroom? VERY poor design resulting in peeling linoleum and mold; failing deck railings, warped deck planks result in nails popping up causing a hazard if you step on one. There’s more, but the mice made it uninhabitable. They should not be renting this property until it is cleaned up and renovated.

Cabin location was good

The cabin is large enough for bigger groups check in was easy spa was clean that’s about where the good stops it’s definitely a older cabin that needs repairs nothing major just kinda becoming run down all an all felt dark inside found a J on the back patio railing that was left behind not a big deal to me but not something that should of been left for the next family to find

Lake Tahoe home

We had issues with the cable boxes and BBQ, they weren't working. However, when I called the owner he was very quick to send someone out to fix it. The beds in two of the bedrooms are really high to get into. But, luckily I was able to step on the bed frame and hop up into the bed. Getting out was pretty easy. The kitchen was great to work it. It's updated and well equipped. Afterall, we were comfortable and enjoyed our stay.

Needs major home maintenance

We stayed for 4 days in July 2023. Here is a list of things in the home that should be repaired before I would consider staying here again: •Carpenter ants constant problem in home. Ant traps were within the home and Vacasa staff offered additional traps •WiFi network name and password was changed and not provided by Vacasa staff. Instead we were told to read it off the router in the garage. •hot tub was green from pine needles, water balloons, and other debris when we arrived. Vacasa asked us to provide photos before they would send out maintenance staff which we did. Vacasa staff came to clean it out for us to use but warned that they had 150 homes to maintain in the area and limited staffing. •Propane tank was empty upon arrival. Vacasa provided a replacement; however, a previous guest had used charcoal briquettes in the grill so to use it we had to clean out the entire grill. •refrigerator missing at least one shelf and both drawers were in poor condition making it hard to operate. •Every carpet had severe staining •Downstairs bathroom has an over pressurized shower head that is causing plumbing leak in the bathroom wall and floor •most electrical outlets had limited functionality and there were extension cords run under the carpet to power lights from the few working sockets. •it is obvious from the smoke staining above the fireplaces that the pictures on Vacasa are out of date or significantly retouched. •when we went to take out our trash before leaving we found the trash cans in the bear box already full and we’re told by Vacasa to leave the trash in the garage. The location was good. The Vacasa service was polite but limited. The house needs major TLC.

Not Vacasa Premium Clean - Protected Birds Penetrate Bedroom Wall from Outside

Upon entering and unpacking at this property there were noticeable items of question. Sand, dirt and pine needles at every entrance to the house and on both decks. I Requested a broom to clean it and never was answered. Requested info about spa cleaning and sanitizer for a 5 day stay for 6 people and was never answered. Towel bar was in a drawer in one bathroom, kitchen counter areas, refrigerator and oven handles were sticky among other items around the house, Remotes! Was it even cleaned, or sanitized? The refrigerator had a broken support which compromised one drawer every time it was opened. The King bed sheets did not appear to be washed! I was assured they were! (?) There were no spa/beach towels or beach chairs. Now hear this, there were 6 adults staying at this property. The couple sleeping in the King bedroom did not get any sleep due to an animal scratching and pecking on/in the outside wall, however right by the headboard on the inside wall. This was reported to property manager the next am. A great pest control guy came out and determined it was a protected woodpecker with a nest in the wall. Nothing could be resolved. The king bedroom would not have any couple sleeping in it going forward. The mattress was moved into the living room nightly and put back in the bedroom every am, well almost. Our last afternoon there, we could hear the scratching and pecking in the living room. I went in the room and saw the birds had penetrated through the wall! I immediately called the property manager and and emergency referral number on his message. I took video/pictures of the hole and tex to the mentioned above persons. NEVER did anyone call to discuss this after I left message and spoke to the emergency staff person who said "my concern was documented" as she sounded half asleep. We now took all of our belongings out of this room and closed the door, not to bother the protected bird or be attacked by it as it was a protector of it's nest! We were also concerned about the next group coming in and having to deal with this....Now moving forward and back to home sweet home!

Friends trip

Myself and 6 friends stayed in this residence and it was described perfectly. It had something for everyone....pool table, jacuzzi, two huge decks to gather on, comfortable beds and nice kitchen. The location was very close to the Casinos and the lake.

Rustic & cozy home in a great location.

The location of the home is only a short drive (less than 10 minutes) to the grocery store, restaurants, lake, hiking trails, park, casinos and shopping. It had a comfortable beds and a well stocked kitchen. Quiet & peaceful neighborhood.
