o Experience a comfortable and convenient stay in this 1-bedroom studio located along the Coconut Coast. This unit is perfect for guests who are looking to explore the beautiful island of Kauai. The location is extremely convenient for getting around with grocery stores, restaurants, and shops all within walking distance. It is centrally located and only 30 mins away from the north and south side of the island.

You can lounge by the swimming pool or walk along the beach which is just steps away from the property. At Kauai Kailani, you will find yourself right at home. BBQ Grills, Meeting/Recreation Room, Ping Pong Table, and Books are provided here for ease of access and your convenience.

The location is extremely easy for getting around the whole island. You can access multiple beaches, shops, numerous restaurants/food trucks, and not to mention having a Safeway right across the street.

Nearby activities include surfing, snorkeling, fishing, hiking, golf, kayaking, and so much more! I am always happy to provide recommendations if you have any questions as well.

Nice Small Place

It is a nice small studio for the price, especially on Kauai. It is right on the ocean, so you can take the small 500 ft walk back, and the ocean is right there, which is beautiful. The place was well-kept and we didn't have issues. The wifi may cut out on your phone sometimes, but it's most likely due to being so close to the ocean, and it didn't happen enough to be a big issue. Overall, would stay again.

Short but not sweet stay.

Aloha,I was expected a clean( newly washed sheet, towels,bathroom curtain..) but none of that was delivered to us.Did I mentioned the roof was leaking right above the TV from the unit above. With the cleaning fee that we had to pay, 125, I think I expected much better, cleaner room.The room has no window and may I suggested that the owner should add that in the room description( it was not mention in the room description). The owner, at first mentioned that there will be no AC for our unit due to trade wind and cool temperatures of Kauai therefore no AC needed?????Our unit look like a storage room since there are more than 4 potable fans and 2 vacuum was stored ant our unit.The bed located right at the entrance and it was so closed to our bed that my boyfriend had to sleep on the wrong side of the bed ( closed to the door) for my safety. We only stayed for 1 night but it was not an pleasant experience, unfortunately.

Kauai vacation

Clean, comfortable bed, a little noisy from adjoining rooms and street traffic, close to safeway for food , affordable.

I was extremely happy with my stay. The location was perfect right on the beach and across the street from a shopping center and restaurants. The room itself had everything you needed, comfortable bed, small kitchen area with coffee make, microwave and refrigerator

Best stay ever

Kauai Kalani was the best location and stay that I have enjoyed in Kauai, ever. I regularly return to visit my childhood home, and I will always try to book here in the future, now that I know!

Sunrise in Paradise

David's condo is suitable for 2 people. It is furnished with a king sized bed and is actually very spacious for a studio. We loved starting each day by opening our front door, cup of coffee in hand, and walking less than 50 yards to the beach to watch the sunrise. The location was perfect for us because it is halfway between the north and the south. If you have excursions planned like hiking, diving, kayaking, snorkeling, or exploring remote beaches, then this condo will be just right for you. If you are looking for a place where you want to spend the bulk of your visit and cook your meals in-unit, then you might be disappointed here. We loved our stay here and we would book again. The communication with our host was excellent from start to finish and the property as a whole is very well taken care of. It is quiet here, too. As a bonus, each time you drive out of the complex, you are facing a beautiful Wyland mural that you get to admire.

Simple but Adequate

We had a busy schedule planned for our Kauai trip, so we didn't intend to do much more than sleep and shower in our room. If that's your intention, this could be a good choice, as both the bed and shower worked well. This was one of the cheapest rentals we could find on the island, so that was nice too. In addition, if you intend to travel to both the north and south parts of the island, this is a good central location, as it's about an hour to the furthest point in either direction. We did use the frig and microwave for quick snacks, and those also worked well. There's also a good ceiling fan and mini-split cooling system. However, this should not be viewed as a luxury accommodation. The room is small, and the furnishings are low end. The louvered windows let in some air, but flow-through cooling doesn't really happen. And leaving them open removes all privacy for the bedroom, which is just inside those windows. Depending on the climate you're used to, this may be adequate. But if you struggle with sleeping under warm, humid conditions, you'll need to use the in-room cooler. This is also a joint room, meaning it has a locked common door for those who would like to share two connected rooms. But this door is far from sound-proof. This is true for the walls and ceilings as well. Unless your neighbors are very quiet, you will hear a lot of talking, walking, plumbing sounds, etc. The parking for this unit is a dirt area along a row of trees, a bit of a walk from the unit.

Nice stay!

Very clean room with AC! Included plenty of clothes hangers, towels, and dishes. Only downside was no laundry but there is a laundromat just a 7 minute walk away. Would recommend to stay here!

Better than expected!!

We loved our stay!!! The room is bigger than pictures show, bed was quite comfy and the bathroom very nice. While just a kitchenette of sorts, with a mini fridge/freezer, there was also a coffee pot and quite a few kitchen amenities such as a knife and cutting board, utensils and wine opener! Lots of fans and a mini split ac unit if needed, but we used the louvered window to get some nice air in the room! While not Ocean side, we were right around the corner from the ocean and the pool! The grills were great as was the ping pong room right there to have fun while we cooked our food! The location was super ideal, very central to go north or south, lots of restaurants, Starbucks and grocery nearby! Boss Frog rental was also close! We had a great week here and will definitely recommend this unit to family and friends!! Aloha!!

Small Changes Could Make this better

The overall layout was spacious. Great King bed, nice sized bathroom, and walk-in closet also serving as the mini kitchen. The bathroom exhaust fan was clogged with dust. The folding bistro chairs were flimsy & uncomfortable (reported by another guest), & the kitchen area had no plates (problem also reported in Sept.), no wine or beer openers or glasses. Cheap fixes that would have really increased my overall rating. The pool and waterfront area were nice. The photos of the unit were accurate. However, the unit did not hsve a deck/patio or any view. I think that should have been noted. Comnunication was great

Kauai Birthday Trip

After arriving, the first thing we did was unpack and cool off the made ready for dinner. After we got ourselves acclimated we enjoyed anything and everything, after each excursion we returned to the home base to rest up and refresh ourselves. It was great!

Cramped space , bare bones and cheap amenities.

The property is well situated. The host is extremely responsive. However , we found the property to be very cramped , the furnishings weak and amenities lacking — no plates , 2 mugs with no wading soap , side table unstable , chairs uncomfortable , no bathroom rugs It was well below our expectations and we would not go back there again. It is ok if you only want to be in the room to sleep at night — not comfortable to spend any wake up time there

Affordable in a good location

This place while not charming or cute in any way is a great functional place to stay in a great location. It’s next to a beautiful beach front (though not really that swimmable) and right in the center of town. Walking distance to main shopping area and a great place to plan excursions throughout the island. The unit has only one window and making it feel a little gloomy during the day but we didn’t come to Kauai to sit in our room all day anyway. It was a little difficult to keep the room cool enough without using the AC in the 83 degree summer heat we got when we were there but the AC worked great on auto (we tried saving the money). Overall if you are looking for a clean and simple place to stay without all the frills but in a great location this spot is for you.
