Excellent place to stay.

Lovely home and great communication with owners. Even met us as we were unloading our vehicle. Great location close to Green River. Beautiful home and nice secluded hot tub.

Quaint decor, clean and inviting. Wish we would’ve been able to stay longer to utilize more of the amenities provided. The grill looked amazing, but we did get a chance to use the hot tub. Love the games!

Pleasant stay. The owner, David, was very attentive at all times and helped us with everything. The house is in a very quiet location, although it could use some maintenance, a bit more exterior cleaning, and a few additional kitchen utensils.The living room is very cozy and perfect for a nice chat after a long day of fishing.We will probably stay here again next time!Thank you

Was it glamorous, no. Did it meet our needs, absolutely! The house was clean and well stocked with towels, which brings me to my next point. The HOT TUB was a hit! Our family, ages 5-44, all enjoyed using it multiple times a day! Communication was excellent. Special accommodations were made for our large family. Yard was great for our pup. Would stay again!

Great cabin

Our stay was amazing. Cabin was beautiful and clean. Everything worked as expected and the one thing that didn’t. We message the homeowner and they had it replaced quickly. Homeowner was awesome and very responsive and respectful. Definitely will recommend!!!

Quick overnight stay

Found this property on Bring Fido, very accommodating for us with our pets. Was just a quick overnight stay on our way to Denver but would definitely stay again when passing thru.

We had a great stay at the Cozy Cabin. Beds were comfortable and the place was welcoming and quiet. Our host communicated quickly regarding questions we had. Would definitely recommend this place for a large group to stay when in Green River.

We needed a place to stay in southern Wyoming, and this house was perfect! We definitely enjoyed the hot tub after a long day of driving. Lots of space and 1 1/2 bathrooms.

Nice property BUT no air

The house/property is nice. I get temps vary in Wyoming but air was listed as an amenity and it was not provided. It was 80 degrees in the house and very hot. Host was super kind and very responsive until I asked for clarification about air being listed as an amenity.

Eclectic Style Rustic Home

My children and I traveled to Jamestown to visit my brother and his family who live in Green River. This area does not have many VRBO or hotel options, so we were very happy to find this home to stay in. It had plenty of room and was well stocked. Check in was easy. The owner has spent time and money renovating some things which we appreciated. This home is older and quirky but it suited us well.

HOME AWAY FROM HOME

This place was awesome. We had family coming from Wyoming and Idaho and this was a half way place for us to meet. Plenty of room for everyone. We used the Kitchen, fireplace and hot tub. Communicating with the property manager was great. We will be using this place again, for sure.

Long term stay for day and night shift workers

We used the house for 3 weeks during the summer of 2024 while working on a nearby project. Some guests had to sleep during daylight hours and had no issues with noise or light. The neighborhood is quiet and easily accessible from Interstate 80. The house is spacious and thoughtfully furnished. Thanks David! We’ll be back.

Would like a longer stay!

We really enjoyed this house. When we arrived, which unfortunately was very late at night, the host had already turned on the air conditioners and cooled the house to a delightfully cool temperature. We didn’t really use the hot tub, but the beds were great and it was so peaceful and quiet. It was an oasis for us after a very long day of driving. I highly recommend this VRBO. The stairs to the upstairs are steep, but my husband and I are both in our 70’s and had no problems. It was a great place to stay.

We never received keys or a code for the property. There were zero checkin instructions. I was unable to reach the owner ever and wasnt even able to stay at this location. This was a FRAUD!

Not what i expected

The house wasnt very clean, dirty carpets, towels still in wash machine from previous guests I am assuming. Spiders and spider webs everywhere, particularly behind bathroom door. No sheets on bedding. Hot tub didnt work very well, only a few jets worked and not very well at that. Thank goodness my wife didnt come with me this time.

Nothing to like. Extremely bad rundown area. Filthy, disgusting, really stinky like tobacco smoke and mold. Everything old, rundown, wornout and filthy. The stench sticks to you just by walking in. Felt sick after 10 minutes. I could not stay. You could not pay me to stay. Run away from this. Unbelievable and DISGUSTING!!!

Met our needs but could use some work

With limited options in the green river area, we opted to rent a house instead of having to book multiple hotel rooms. This house is actually outside of green river, but a short drive to both green river and rock springs. The neighborhood is in a trailer park. Quite trashy looking but the neighbors were all quiet. There have been some updates to the house that have helped, but other parts are quite run down. Mostly the kitchen. Broken drawers, warped counter tops, etc. The house was clean on the majorly visible areas, but very dirty in others, such as dust/grime in drawers and cabinet, spider webs in window sills, etc. The beds were all comfortable and linens were clean. It was hot outside so we did not use the hot tub, but the water appeared clean. The house has a nice back porch and yard which also has a bbq. Nice large tv and comfortable couches. Overall could use some work, but wouldn’t put it any worse then some of the trashy hotels we have stayed in.

Awesome hot tub, house needs work

There were good things about this place, but definitely things that need work. The area was quiet and the yard was fenced which was great for our chihuahua. The hot tub and deck were great for ending a long day (there are mosquitoes so bring your citronella candles). The smart lock on the front door made things easy. Great to not have to worry about a key. There were two smart TVs, one upstairs and one downstairs. Also, the internet was super fast. The rustic quality of the home is fitting for the area. The cons of this place was the rundown kitchen, lack of outdoor furniture and poor overall cleanliness. We had planned on cooking but we were too uncomfortable with the lack of cleanliness and dilapidated state of the kitchen to do so. The downstairs floors were sticky and cobwebs were throughout the house. Basic amenities like scissors and aluminum foil were missing. There were no lawn chairs or outdoor dining furniture, which was disappointing. This place needs quite a bit of renovating and cleaning to be a five star property.

Our stay was okay overall, but there were a few things future guests may want to be aware of. The WiFi password wasn’t available in the unit, so we had to reach out to the host and wait until the next morning to get it. The listing also mentioned an iron, but we could only find an ironing board. Some areas felt a bit unkempt, including dirty carpet, closet doors that were off their tracks, and areas that had been scratched by pets.The host was very friendly and responsive and did get back to us first thing in the morning with the WiFi details. One important callout is that the stairs inside the unit are very tall and uneven, which could be unsafe for young children or anyone with mobility challenges.Overall, a decent stay with a great host, but a few maintenance updates and clearer listing details would make a big difference.
