Come relax and enjoy this serene mountain ranch nestled between Glenwood Springs and Carbondale, Colorado. The elegant western log home has ample sleeping quarters, a large, open, well-outfitted kitchen, and extra living space with 2 living areas and a large recreation room including a pool table, ping pong table and foosball! The property is situated amidst a small working ranch with a caretaker visiting to work the hay fields, vegetable, fruit and flower gardens, and take care of this unique property so that it remains productive as well as beautifully maintained. When the season is right, you are welcome to enjoy vegetables from the garden and fruit from on-site fruit trees.
Whether you are coming to the valley to ski, raft, fish, hike, mountain bike, road bike, or just relax, you will find it all here. Glenwood Springs, offering 2 excellent rivers for rafting or gold medal fishing, hot springs, and a hill top amusement park is just 15 minutes away. Aspen with world-class skiing, shopping and dining is only 45 minutes away.
After all the fun, return to a quiet country oasis.

A very sweet spot to welcome our new grandbaby! My husband and I spent two weeks in the area to welcome our newest grandbaby. This home was perfect for other family members to come and go and meet the little one. It will always hold a special place in my heart!The setting was absolutely beautiful… With the immaculate grounds, including a very impressive garden. The little ones lived on the swingset and we all enjoyed the game room. It was truly like staying at a friends home. And after meeting & visiting with the owners, we feel like we’ve made new friends! We can’t wait to go back!

Wonderful property

We loved the property. The cabin was beautiful, clean and inviting. It had all the amenities we needed. Plenty of space to spread out. We enjoyed sitting on the porch every evening by the fire share stories and enjoying the beautiful scenery.

Incredible family ranch in a beautiful mountain valley!

Beautiful ranch that the kids absolutely loved. The setting was beautiful, with plenty of activities from the outdoor play area to the vegetable gardens and the huge game room. Plenty of space for the 7 of us and only 20 minutes from Glenwood Springs. We would definitely love to stay here again.

Perfect Get Away

Super home with all the amenities and plenty of space to spread out. We came from three different states to spend time with family - so hard to get together but this was an ideal location and the home made it even more enjoyable. We discovered something new every day! Was perfect and owner easy to communicate with from beginning to end.

Rancho Deluxe!

We were 3 senior couples staying for 4 nights in September and had so much fun at the ranch. What I really liked were all the spaces to sit outside on the numerous decks or play games in the game room. We all had room to spread out and have time to ourselves. After a day out seeing the sights we always looked forward to an evening at the ranch. Simple beautiful!!!

Rustic Elegance

Beautiful log home on a small, meticulously kept ranch. Perfect location for visits to Glenwood Springs, Carbondale, and Aspen. Home is cozy and inviting, and layout allows for family gathering time as well as areas for quiet separation. Daily visits from a flock of turkeys, and wonderful vegetables from the garden. Communication and check in were excellent. A beuatiful gem in the Roaring Fork Valley.

House with Everything

When you first arrive you are impressed with the grounds. Upon entering the house you are greeted with a wonderful living area, three bedrooms on the main floor, large kitchen and dining area. The main treat was the basement where you have another bedroom along with the toys - pool table, exercise room, ping pong, other games and a wince cellar. Perfect place.

Amazing property and experience!!

Four adults and four teens had a wonderful experience staying at Mandy's place in Carbondale! We loved the game room and activities provided as well as the very clean and thoughtful accommodations! We cooked in most breakfasts and dinners and enjoyed the well equipped kitchen. Mandy let us harvest fresh veggies from the large garden which was amazing! Also, the location was wonderful for relaxing in a quiet local after enjoying all the activities that Glenwood Springs and Carbondale have to offer! Excellent communication from the host and very accomodating! This house and experience exceeded our expectations!!

Home Away from Home

The pictures and description does not include details of the custom amenities, This property offers everything you need plus more than you could have asked for. My family and I celebrated my 60th birthday, my god daughter’s 21st birthday and another daughter’s recent promotion. The bedrooms, kitchen, bathrooms/shower, soaking tub, garden and game rooms were magnificent. The kitchen was fully equipped with every appliance you ever thought you would need. I plan to return in the future.

Amazing Family Stay

We had a wonderful stay at this high-end cabin. The location is remote while remaining close to both Carbondale and Glenwood Springs. It was the perfect home base for us as we enjoyed activities in both cities. There was plenty of room to park both our truck and raft trailer, and the outdoor play set was a huge treat for our 4 year old. Additionally, the indoor playroom provided loads of entertainment as well. I even used the elliptical in the gym one morning when I was feeling motivated. Not to mention the beautiful mountains/ forest views. We would 100% recommend staying here, and we hope to visit again.

Wonderful property

Quiet. Pristine cleanliness in home. Excellent activities in all rooms from relaxing, to playing cards, to playing pool and enjoying the large room of fun on the lowest level of the home. Planning on reserving property in the future. ***Please note: bathroom/shower in level by the pool table needs attention as does not drain properly.

Beautiful property with details like coffee with two makers to choose from, soaps and shampoos to start the stay were awesome. The cabin is so cute and decorated for the Christmas season with door mobs and cabinetry were beautiful. All ages were entertained for a Sunlight ski trip during snow storms that happened every night. Property was easy to get in and out of in our 2 wheel drive Suburban as the groundskeeper kept everything plowed and ready to roll (literally). We had a wonderful stay and looking forward to our next visit.

A Perfect Place in Carbondale, CO

This property is absolutely stunning. From the moment we arrived, we were impressed by its spacious design and thoughtful touches. My wife, daughter, and I had more than enough room to relax and enjoy our stay. The house is immaculately furnished, with each room featuring unique details that make it stand out.The kitchen is a chef’s dream, and the finished basement is an entertainer’s paradise. The game room, with its high ceilings and airy atmosphere, was a highlight of our trip. It’s fully stocked with games and perfect for family fun. The western and rustic theme, combined with luxurious touches, creates a warm and inviting atmosphere.We’ve never rented a property as well-appointed as this one. Everything you could possibly need is thoughtfully provided, and the organization throughout the house is unmatched—no clutter, no “junk drawers,” just clean and well-organized spaces.The property grounds are equally impressive. The expansive acreage made it feel like we had a private ranch all to ourselves. Watching elk graze outside in the evenings was a magical experience.A special mention must go to the homeowners/property managers. Their communication was exceptional, and their kindness and consideration made us feel completely at ease. They respected our privacy while ensuring we had everything we needed for a perfect stay. After more than a decade of using VRBO and staying at over a dozen properties, I can sincerely say this is one of the best. Highly recommended!

Great Fall break with the family

We had a multigenerational family gathering. The location was easy access to Glenwood springs and a quick drive to Aspen. We enjoyed harvesting the remainder of the garden on the property and frying up some green tomatoes as part of our meal. There was plenty of towels and blankets and we enjoyed the well stocked kitchen so we could eat at home. I would recommend labeling the light switches to make it easier to navigate in the house. We enjoyed the peacefulness of the area.
