Thank you for the kind words, and we hope you enjoyed the new hot tub. The reservation was for two adults, only. Had we known that you were also bringing children, we would have made sure that there were extra towels. Also, had you let us know about the issue with the air bed, we could have let you know where the spare was. In any event, you were a wonderful guest and we look forward to you visiting us again.

We very much enjoyed hosting Sarah and her husband - and their two labradoodles! We did not charge them a pet fee; outdoor chairs were provided; and our Guest Cabin is next to the Main House, but is not connected to it, as is indicated in our Welcome letter, the agreed Property Rules, and descriptions. We very much look forward to hosting Sarah and her husband again.

To other Hosts, beware of this guest. We are Premier Hosts, who always take pride in going the extra mile to ensure that our guests have a wonderful time. This particular guest never checked in and never stayed at the property, yet has been allowed to post an unflattering review. She wanted to cancel prior to check-in, was not given a refund, so she decided to hurt this Host by defaming the property. First she told Vrbo Support that the property was filthy and a shambles, until I let her know that was not true and I had pictures as evidence of its cleanliness. The cleaning company is of the highest caliber and even does work for the Sheriff's department of Watauga County. The cleaner finished cleaning at 1;30, and did a beautiful job. She took 15 pictures prior to leaving, which is that company's practice. All pictures show how clean the property was, and each picture shows that the pictures on the site are representative, and exactly like the pictured. They are not misleading. Veronika has no evidence to support her claims. We have the evidence, which are the pictures. Veronika also claims that there was no internet service, which is also false. The internet company was contacted. This Host's router was on-line the entire time, and there was no area outage. The annual renter of a different part of the property confirmed that there was no interruption of service on May 18, 2023. One fibre optic cable services both parts of the property. Again, Veronika has no evidence to support her claim. We have evidence that there was service, so her statements in her review were false.. The cleaner confirmed that there was no odor other than Fabulosa that she used for cleaning. By her own admission, Veronika was at the property at 2;30 pm, prior to check in, and left. Had she arrived at 3:00 pm, when she was supposed to check in, any smell of Fabulosa would have been removed by the air conditioner. The cleaner is willing to sign an affidavit that there were no foul odors and that the only odor was from the Fabulosa. Importantly, the guest prior to Veronika, booked from another short term rental company, and posted a 5 Star public review saying it was the most beautiful short term rental she had ever stayed in. The guest after Veronika, booked from Vrbo, posted a beautiful public 5 star review as well, on Vrbo's site. Veronika cancelled her trip prior to check in and never stayed at the property. It may be that she was never at the property at all. She should never have been allowed by Vrbo to post a review, especially one that is false and defamatory, and without any evidence in support. Vrbo should not post false and defamatory reviews without supporting evidence.
