Large rooms with plenty of space and natural light. The master has blackout curtains and a full bath. Historic neighborhood with original tudor and craftsman home. This area is home to many original residents and is diverse and eclectic. It is five minutes from downtown in a sought-after area under revitalization. The immediate neighbors are mature in age and have states they like meeting new guests, in passing.

Location is in a revitalizing area. We do provide this info to guests in the listing details. It is an older neighborhood, within a 5 minute drive of downtown with very nice maturer in age neighbors. Thanks for being our guest!

Mine and my husband's birthday are 3 days apart, and we went to Birmingham to the Barber Motorcycle Museum and explored the city, had a great and relaxing experience 😎

Great little house!

Overall, it was a great visit, thanks so much! The neighborhood seemed a bit sketchy at first, but the house itself was perfect for our visit. We had everything we needed, and it was cozy. Watch out for the steep entrance to the driveway though :)

Awesome experience that felt like home!

My family and I were having unexpected renovations done at our home that forced us out for 1 week. Our stay was very comfortable due to the "at home" feel of the house. The kids loved the toys and my 6ft husband loved the comfy king sized bed. Thanks!

Nice, quiet stay!

My family stayed at this house on a short week-end trip to Birmingham. It was just right for us. It's in an older neighborhood which was nice and quiet. We were no more than 15-20 minutes away from great restaurants and tourist spots. The beds were comfortable and the kitchen had all we needed. The house was just as pictured. Thanks!

The pictures of the home depict the actual property. It had nice towels, bedding, soaps, shampoo/conditioner, hairdryer, and kitchen was equipped. I folded the towels for them that were left in the dryer:) everything was in working order.

So cute and great communication

The home is cute, well decorated and has comfortable seating and beds. The porch is adorable and the flowers are beautiful! The host responded immediately to any needs that we had. Everything we needed was available. Extra chairs in the dining room would be nice for more seating around the table. The neighborhood was a little concerning - there was a big party at one of the houses when we arrived the first night. Lots of people walking on the street and outside. It wasn't a huge deal though and we would definitely stay there again!

Original charm withina historic neighborhood. There are beautiful tudors and craftsman homes throughout East Lake. The neighborhood is being revitalized back to its original glory and has a diverse group of residents. From professionals to artists and those who work from home. East Lake is full of character and is close to everything. You have multiple entertainment districts less than 15 minutes away, shopping and historic Ruffner Mountain.
