PET RULE
Dogs only with a pet fee. Must be House trained and Under 50 pounds.

Please do NOT allow pets on the furniture or beds. NEVER leave unattended inside or outside the cabin. Pooping/peeing outside of the home, please pick up any surprises left by your dogs.
ANY dogs brought without permission or that breaks any of these rules will result in a fee and dog/guests may be asked to leave the premises without refund.

NATIONAL FOREST WILDLIFE & PESTS
Here in the Smoky Mountains, we have lots of native bugs and wildlife sightings are common! We suggest keeping the doors (cabin and cars) locked and food inside. All of our cabins are treated for pests, but there are times you will find bugs or even have trouble with bugs. Please let us know if they are causing trouble, we will handle it as quickly and efficiently as possible. Please never feed, taunt or approach any wildlife. This is their home, and we are the visitors. Also, please be mindful of the poison oak that can be found within the area.

There are plenty of world-class white-water rafting and kayaking opportunities on the Nantahala River, within 9 minutes of the cabin. The famous Nantahala River is just minutes from the cabin; rafting is a great way to spend the day with your family. Lake Nantahala & Lake Santeetlah is a wonderful place to go for some boating or skiing & swimming or trout fishing. The marina offers boat rental packages.
If hiking interests you, the Bartram Trail or the Appalachian Trail is nearby, motorcyclist will enjoy riding the Tail of the Dragon and Thunder Road if they dare! "The Tail of the Dragon" has 318 curves in the 11 miles connecting NC to TN. It is considered to be "America's number one motorcycle and sports car Road." There is always something to do, so pack up the family and come on by!!!
