Archway In The Heights- Just Steps Away From It All
If you want charm,location, and to be in the center of it all, book your stay here! We have created a home away from home for our family and friends and now extend it to you! Our “Unit B” one bedroom one full bath 700 sqft duplex cottage (just next door to our “Haven in the Heights”) is all about location and convenience in Peoria Heights! You will share a porch (separate seating areas) with our other private Airbnb - “Unit A”. Walking distance to everything, our duplex cottage is perfect for two families traveling together that want to be close by each other, but have their own individual house, or anyone that wants to stay in a great location in a smaller cottage in the Heights. It features a full size bed with designer bedding, full bath, and full kitchen. In addition to this, there is a comfortable couch in the living room along with a cozy fireplace to curl up in front of. Our kitchen has everything you would need for a short or extended stay including a toaster, stove, refrigerator, and microwave. We provide basic cooking essentials such as dishes,silverware, pots and pans, and olive oil for your basic cooking needs. We also have a Keurig coffee machine with the assorted accoutrements needed for a fresh brewed cup of coffee or tea. In addition to all of this, you would have a convenient parking spot in the private parking lot, and there is also plenty of additional free street parking. You would have a shared covered porch with our other airbnb unit. This is Unit B on the right. Two separate entrances (the front of your unit and the back of your unit). There is a ramp to walk up if needed instead of stairs to enter the unit. You can also rest assure that we are taking extra care to disinfect our space to the highest degree.
Location and charm abound in our one bedroom one bath bungalow (Unit B) duplex with private entrance that is literally just steps away from Grandview Drive and all of the fabulous restaurants and shops on N. Prospect in Peoria Heights. You will share a porch with our other Airbnb (Unit A). Complete with private parking. We are located just 5 minutes from US Route 150 with easy access to Interstate 74 and 15 minutes from downtown Peoria. In addition, we are 20 minutes from Peoria Airport. If you want to be in the center of it all, book your stay here!
Guest Access: This is a private unit (Unit B) in a duplex with access in the front of the house and back. There will be a shared front porch with our other Airbnb unit on the left. While staying at our property you will have access to our private parking lot behind the house. To access the parking lot, there is an alley and less of a steep incline if you enter the alley from the North and then turn right into the driveway. In addition, you will receive a keycode that is changed constantly in order to enter the house.
Any issues? We live right around the corner and are available at anytime during your stay. We are available by phone or by text at all hours should you need anything during your stay. Please contact us after reserving to obtain entry instructions for self-check-in with the keypad.
About the Neighborhood: We are located just 5 minutes from Route 150 and Interstate 74 and 10 minutes from downtown Peoria. From our property you can enjoy a short walk to Grandview Drive to see the panoramic view of the Illinois River. In 1910 President Theodore Roosevelt named Grandview Drive the world’s most beautiful drive. It is there that you will see many breath-taking homes lining the roadway including the “castle” home with the guardian dragons that is located near the Peoria Country Club. Or you may want to take a walk on the nearby Rock Island Trail. We are also located just a few blocks from Trefzger’s Bakery which was established in 1861 and is central Illinois’ oldest bakery. In addition, we are conveniently located 10 minutes from OSF Hospital and Bradley University.
If you would like a taste of our nightlife, you can literally step out of our front door and be in the middle of the restaurant scene in Peoria Heights. It is here that you will find the bustling sidewalks filled with people and entertainment. As everyone here says, it’s “Happening in the Heights!”
OUR CLEANING PROCESS
You can rest assured, we take the utmost care thoroughly cleaning and disinfecting our home. My husband and I are in healthcare and take the utmost care in sanitizing and disinfecting our home. We use hospital grade cleaning products that are virucidal, germicidal, and bactericidal. We also supply disinfecting/sanitizing products and hand sanitizer as well. Our checkout time is technically 11am and check in is 3pm so we have at the very least 4 hours to prepare for you and even more if the previous guests check out early.
