The property was in proper condition upon the guest’s arrival. A prior repair issue (a small pipe repair) was fully completed before check-in, and I personally confirmed that the home was safe and functional. During the reservation, I checked in with the guest multiple times, and at no point were any problems or concerns communicated to me. The first and only time I was made aware of an issue was after the guest had already checked out. Vrbo’s policy requires that guests promptly notify the host of any problem during their stay so it can be addressed immediately.

This guest brought a dog onto the premises. She was then asked for a pet deposit. I don't accept animals to keep it a safe place for those guests with allergies. It is impossible to eradicate a space of dander, etc., and be prepared for the next guest.

This customer was difficult to deal with. Firstly, it took him a long time to complete the payment. He repeatedly asked for extensions, and he finally paid just 5 days before his arrival. Then, he requested an early check-in, which was granted. However, he called to report a leaking pipe from a new sink. After the maintenance team arrived, they noticed a party taking place, despite parties not being allowed. The owner then offered a refund to the guest and asked him to leave. During the inspection of the leak, it was discovered that the pipe had been intentionally cut. I went upstairs to assess the damage and upon returning downstairs, he blocked the stairway. He aggressively confronted me and threatened to ruin my rating. I assured him that the previous renters had left 5-star reviews, which would speak for themselves. It became evident that this individual was solely motivated by money.
