Welcome to Carson Hill Manor! Our newly renovated 4-bedroom 3 bath 2800 sqft cabin is located above the snow line at 4000 feet in the middle of the Stanislaus National Forest on a quiet family friendly cul-de-sac. It is conveniently located close to hiking, skiing, lakes, wineries, grocery stores and restaurants. Great lay out for families to gather. Huge game room with fun and games for all ages.

Living Room: Big windows, gas fireplace, 55” smart TV, and plenty of seating.

Laundry Room: Double washer/dryer, detergent, dryer sheets, iron/board, high chair.

What a nice home away from home! There even was a Christmas tree to make our New Years festive! There was plenty of space for the 7 of us with a great location - just up from Big Trees market. Many many games for all to enjoy that we didn’t need to touch the ones we brought. We’d come back in a heartbeat.

Father’s Day

The house was amazing. Surrounded by trees and very peaceful. Many things to do at the house, with all the games, pool table, etc.Everyone had a greytime. Would definitely come back.

Entertainment for All

This property was clean, and as described in the listing. The property managers were very responsive and easy to get a hold of for questions. We had amazing snowy weather, respite in a warm cabin, and lots of laughs playing the many games together. It was a blissful get-away for a big group. I’ll stay again!

This house is so spacious and full of amenities, perfect for large group stays. We especially enjoyed having ac units around the house during these hot summer days, it was awesome.

Great cabin for the family

We had a great time throughout our stay. Plenty of things to do at the property which kept us entertained every day. Being close to the grocery store and lake was also a plus. Overall, our family had a great vacation here.

Great family Vacation

House was amazing, check in was super easy. House has everything that is need to enjoy a great weekend. Super close to White Pines Lake which made paddle boarding and kayaking easy. Thank you for a great stay.

Great cabin in a great setting

The Carson Hill Manor is a well appointed cabin with all the comforts of home and more. A terrific place for family and friends to gather to enjoy the nearby scenic beauty and fun activities.Our family group of eight enjoyed the comfortable furnishings and found the cabin to be exceptionally well maintained. And our family breakfasts in the kitchen's large eating area were really fun, especially because of the well-equipped kitchen and new appliances.The game room and game equipment were a lot of fun and were a big hit especially with the grand kids.We had a great stay at Caron Hill Manor and highly rate it.Bruce A.

Friends' annual getaway

We were a Party of 5 couples, All in our Sixties and enjoyed the stay here. Would stay at this location again. Great place for us, being interested in wine tasting, convenient to Murphy's downtown and wineries. Additionally, grocery shopping is near by. Very spacious location. Additionally, When contacting host, very quick replies regarding questions that arose.

Wonderful stay at Carson Hill with everything we needed!

We had 3 families of 4 with kids ranging from 3 to 12. We had a wonderful stay at Carson Hill. The house had more than we needed and was really well stocked. There were a lot of amenities for the kids to stay entertained all day. Location was perfect. The main grocery store was a couple of minutes away. We were close to Big Trees State Park which was gorgeous during the fall. It was also close to a nearby lake and logging museum. We had a wonderful and comfortable stay. We look forward to coming back.

Staying at this house was awesome. Steve the owner was helpful in every way and responded quickly anytime I needed answers. The house was equipped with everything you would ever need. Our family of ten had a wonderful time and plan to stay again in the future.

Ideal Accommodations for our Fun-Loving Family

This home was clean, comfortable and provided a lot of fun activities for the entire family, ages 5 months to 59 years. They even provided cribs, a high chair, dishes/utensils and toys for the littles. The owners were easy to communicate with, left thorough instructions, easy entry and great local recommendations. We’d definitely make a return visit.

Lovely house!

House was exactly as advertised. 13 people stayed (6 adults and 7 kids) and there was plenty of room to spread out. The downstairs game area was a great spot for the kids to hang out (and sleep) and the adults were able to relax comfortably on the primary floor. Kitchen was beautiful and the proximity to Bear Valley was top notch. Definitely would recommend to friends and family.

Very nice house with plenty of entertainment options.

Nice clean house, well appointed kitchen, and sooo many games and options to keep the four kids in our group occupied while the adults enjoyed the large living room and nice deck upstairs. Host was very responsive with one small issue we had on the first night with the video game console.

Thanksgiving Family Trip

Our family is in both Central and Northern California. It was our baby’s first Thanksgiving and didn’t want to miss the opportunity to get everyone together while not having to travel hours with a 5 month old. This was the perfect location. Beautiful & big enough to accommodate our growing family. Everything we needed was provided! (Even baby spoons!) for his first real food try! We highly recommend this vacation home! The stairs were a little challenging to manage little ones — especially in the game room as there was only a gate at the top, but overall awesome experience.

Hike or stay at home... sometimes it was hard to decide!

We went with kids (7-18) and bigger kids (47-52) and had a blast. The downstairs game room is fun for the whole family. We had a mini Olympics one evening and it was a blast. Most of the kids stayed up late playing pool and you can't hear ANYTHING upstairs. I do wish they moved the other King bed upstairs (we had two couples and one had to sleep in separate beds). The kitchen is very well stocked with everything plus appliances galore. SHARP KNIVES!! That usually never happens. Also plenty of room to sit around and eat at the large table or watch a show around the large couch. Close to town, good hikes and the little lake was wonderful after a long, hot hike. Have to do the rope swing... all the kids (little and big) did it.

The house fit all of our needs. The owners response time was immediately. Loved the house

We enjoyed our stay. Only issue was the game room. Air hockey leg was broken and fell on my friends toe. She will lose her toenail. Hurt her bad. The arcade game doesn’t work properly. The bottom stairs bathroom hand towel rack fell off and the bottom stairs bathroom shower handle was loose. All this was told to the owner. Apparently last people who rented didn’t disclose this to owner. They said they will fix these issues right away. Other than that, we had a wonderful stay in the home. It had everything we needed. We will rent again in future.

Arnold 2023 Family Vacation

Absolutely Beautiful house. We had 10 of us and so much room. Play area, pool table, air hockey and so much more the grandkids played with. Basketball hoop kept them entertained. They have everything in the house you will need for cooking. Wish we could have found all the horseshoes as that was in the spacious yard for them to play too. Us adults we having a blast at the bar and playing poker at their poker table. So many laughs and good times. We had to go to the community lake, White Pines Lake which is not far at all. Paddle boarding is what they do a lot and a little fishing there. Truly amazing time we all had. Family memories for all of us. Great response from the managers/owners not sure. Had a couple questions and we got fast response. We really didn’t need anything because they thought of everything for their renters. Highly recommend making your family memories at this place. BEAUTIFUL

Amazing host!

There were 3 families of 4 on this trip. We were supposed to arrive on the same day as a huge storm, so I asked the host if we could check in at noon to beat it. The cleaning crew couldn't get there until the morning that we were scheduled to arrive. I was really stressed out about the whole situation because of the expected storm. I received a message Sunday morning at 6am letting me know that the cleaning crew had arrived and are expected to take about 5 hours to clean. Yay! That meant that we could hit the road in the morning and arrive by noon! It was such a relief! All 3 families arrived right before the storm! During our stay, the only thing that we needed was more sheets. He responded really quickly and let me know where to find them. We were snowed in for 3 days, so we couldn't go anywhere, and no one could get to us. Thankfully, we packed a lot of food and beverages! The game room kept all 6 children between 3yo and 6yo very happy! The bunk bed room was awesome too! Fast forward to check out day on Wednesday. We cleaned up the house, threw towels in the washer as instructed, packed up the cars, and were ready to leave by 10am! There were no snowplows in site and about 3 feet of snow on the driveway and street. The host was very responsive the entire time, contacting the county and the private plow company about the roads. Help arrived by 4pm! Overall, we loved the home! We will definitely be back!!

Awesome house

We truly enjoyed our stay at Carson Hill Manor! The check in process was super easy and the communication with the property owners was always spot on. Our family spent most of the time in the game room area. The pool and card table were our favorite places. The house is close to many attractions and the house had a book with details about attractions that were close by. One of the best parts we enjoyed was having control of the temperature in each room. We had stayed at other properties where one space may be warm and another freezing. One item we would add is some directions on the back of the HVAC remotes to have the system run either heating or cooling. We hope to stay at this residence again in the future!

Wonderful Family Time

My family had the best time! We could have spent our entire stay just enjoying the game room. The kitchen was also a great family hangout place with plenty of room for multiple cooks and a huge dining table. The bedrooms were so cozy! It was a wonderful stay and Jennie and Steve were responsive and quite gracious. We would love to do it again.
