We really liked the property and loved the way each floor had its own bedroom and bathroom, with the added touch of a coffee maker on each floor. That way, using the master bedroom on the top floor, we could brew our coffee and enjoy it on our balcony without going downstairs. When we had issues like the leak in the master bathroom, the owner quickly sent the handyman to fix it. The only real disappointment was that the hot tub wasn't heating and required a special person to repair, so we weren't able to use the hot tub since it stayed about 85. Our friends who joined us commented several times on what a wonderful place it was. I really loved the outdoor fire pit, just as pictured. And as a bonus, the rainy day we had the indoor wood burning fireplace.

The cabin was very clean. It had lots of little extras, which I appreciate. The beds were comfortable. Game room was awesome. Host was excellent.

The cabin was very clean and well stocked. We have a few issues of no trash cans in a couple of the bathrooms and a few light bulbs out but the cabin overall was an excellent place to stay. The game room was very roomy and had a lot of things to do. We highly recommend staying here. We have already booked for next year!

LOVE IT! A little more attention to cleaning would be appreciated. Window edges were covered in bugs, and lots of bugs in the hot tub. Other than that, WE LOVED IT! and we will be back!

Wonderful spot for family vacation

We had a wonderful time at this property. It was perfect for our family of 4. The master was lovely with its own porch with a gorgeous view. Our son and daughter both had their own room and space, which they loved! The cabin felt secluded and peaceful. Our kids loved exploring the woods, and we even found a trail on the other side of the road and had a fun hike. My favorite thing about the cabin was being able to be in the hot tub with the kids, and still hangout with my husband when he was at the fire pit. The game room was fantastic. My son and husband loved the nba game, we all loved the old school video game machine, and we all enjoyed playing pool all week. The cabin is only 15 minutes from Ingles and about 20ish minutes to fishing and swimming spots. We went zip lining about 25 minutes away and there was a white water rafting place 8 miles away. There was plenty of firewood to use. We needed starter logs, so grab those at Ingles. My husband cooked hotdogs a few nights over the fire pit, which is such a fun experience. I highly recommend this cabin to any family. It was perfect! This would also be a great spot for a couples vacation because there is plenty of private space. We also visited the Taccoa swinging bridge and Sea creek falls. It rained several times during our trip and it was truly magical.

Beautiful/ Clean get away!

John was effective in communication and pleasant to rent from. The house was amazing and exactly as described. The perfect little get away to say the least- I highly recommend!

Getaway in Blue Ridge

We had a wonderful time at John’s property. The cabin was beautiful, clean, and had everything we needed. John and his wife were wonderful hosts and accommodated our group when we were traveling after Hurricane Helene with no power. I couldn’t recommend staying with them enough. We will be back!

Great cabin with privacy, close to downtown Blue Ridge.

The cabin was everything we were looking for. Nice layout of the cabin. Awesome game room, hot tub and fire pit. Very clean. Coffee makers on all the floors, kitchen was stocked with essentials for cooking. Would definitely recommend.

Perfect Getaway

Beautiful location. Very clean. Plenty to do - board games, pool table, video games, hot tub. Loved the fire pit for s’mores. Attention to details! Plenty of coffee, cleaning products, even s’mores skewers. Would definitely go back!

Unbelievable Cabin with a View

We loved the view!! My boys learned to play pool here. Both of them beat me! It was great. Our family became closer with this visit.. Everyone in the area are great people, so kind and helpful!! Will be back with more family and friends next time. Thank you for sharing your cabin.

Overlook ridge

Beautiful cabin, has all you could need for a relaxing mountain getaway. Comfy beds. Great game room. Kids loved the fire pit. Wonderful place.

Peaceful and relaxing stay

The cabin was beautiful and spotlessly clean. The hosts added a lot of extra little touches that made it a step above other vrbo’s. The game room was amazing, they had everything you could think of. You definitely won’t be bored. The host was very helpful and very quick to respond to all of our questions. The cabin was in a great location. Would highly recommend this cabin

Amazing stay

Sorry for late review but wanted to say the stay was amazing , the cabin set up was perfect and definitely will be booking again , it was perfect for a weekend getaway and it’s very spacious , thinking of bringing my family next time but love the coffee machines being on every floor that was nice and hot tub amazing , game room and fire pit with wood supplied just was awesome ! The host resounded really fast to a question I had late at night so definitely appreciate that and the check in and out process was really smooth . Thanks for such a great stay this is by far the best vrbo Stay I have been at !!

Oustanding!!!

Our stay at Overlooked Ridge was jist what we wanted. What a beautiful escape in a gorgeous, clean cabin. We loved it so much, we look for another date to go nack already. The deck and master bath are our favorite spots but of course the hot tub comes in a close second. Private quiet place. My words can't really explain it all you would reall have to see it for yourself, but yhey did a great job designing it and decoratiing it the pictures does no justice gir this beautiful cabin. If you really want a getaway put the phones on airplane mode and not be bothered "Overlooked Ridge" is the place you want to be. This is really a great cabin. It was home away from home. The game room was great, but the fire pit, and hot tub trump's all. I cant submit without speaking on how clean it was no dust anywhere, no cobwebs anywhere either.

Xmas Getaway

I rented this property to celebrate Christmas and my birthday with my family. Unfortunately the cabin was soo cold that I got sick and couldn’t enjoy at all. Thank God for the fireplace and space heaters. They kept it to where we weren’t freezing. Feel like the heat barely worked at all. Besides that it is a nice cabin, I just couldn’t get past being cold.

Perfect Weekend Getaway to Blueridge

We stayed here for a long weekend for my son's 10th birthday. The property is extremely clean and comfortable with everything you need to make yourself at home. Kitchen is well equipped and the beds are nice and cozy. The game room was a big hit with the 4 kids who came with us. The multicade games and pool table kept them entertained. The hot tub looks almost new and is very clean. The firepit surrounded by edison bulbs made for the perfect smores setting at night! Serious bonus is that every common area and bedroom has a smart tv with all the streaming apps provided. Nearby to downtown and only about a 10-15 minute drive to Main Street. I would definitely stay in this property again and would encourage anyone looking for a nice home to rent to stay here. The owners are very communicative and respond quickly to messages. GREAT PROPERTY!

Most memorable vacation and home ever!

Wow! Overlook Ridge exceeded all of our expectations and John was so responsive and attentive. The house is spotless, beds very comfortable, lots of games to play and a great backyard space. Our kids played outside all day while we took in the breath taking views. The screened patio off the master bedroom was my absolute favorite. We will definitely be back to Overlook Ridge and want to make it an annual trip.

The perfect getaway

We had a wonderful time at this cabin! It was very clean. The views were to die for! It is in a great location. Tucked away in the mountains, but not far from town. Anything we could have needed was provided and labeled. We spent a lot of time in the game room, where there were so many games to choose from. John was very responsive and attentive. Overall, this is the best cabin I have stayed in. I can’t wait to come back!
