Summary:

Enjoy stunning ocean views from 313 at D Sands Condominiums! This top floor, corner condo is privately owned, located 30 steps up, and offers the best views of the ocean and D Sands River. With a King bedroom and queen bed in the living room, it sleeps up to 4 guests, and the full kitchen is stocked with dish ware cookware for your convenience. Guests can access the beach via an easy staircase, and you get access to the HOA-maintained pool and commercial grade Wi-Fi.



Please note: The Murphy bed is currently left down and used as a stationary bed.



The Space:

Enjoy stunning ocean views from 313 at D Sands Condominiums! This top floor, corner condo is privately owned, located 30 steps up, and offers the best views of the ocean and D Sands River. With a King bedroom and queen bed in the living room, it sleeps up to 4 guests, and the full kitchen is stocked with dishes and cookware for your convenience. Guests can access the beach via an easy staircase, and you get access to the HOA-maintained pool and commercial grade Wi-Fi.

Guest Access:

The condo comes with a unique code which will get you entry into your unit. The indoor, heated salt water pool and hot tub can be accessed via a Pool Code on the North side of the Office building.



This is a 3rd floor unit, there are 28 steps required to access the unit.

Other Things to Note:

This is a condo in a shared complex, and it's worth noting that from time to time, you might hear everyday sounds coming from neighboring units and common areas within the facility. The condo comes with a limited supply of complimentary coffee, sugar, and creamer.



Interaction with Guests:

D Sands Rentals manages all 63 privately owned beachfront condos. We have a rental office on the property that is open no less than 8 hours a day. We give you your space, but we’re available on-site if you need anything.

Nice stay but some essentials could use improvement. Very tricky door lock to the balcony. Would not open the second day. The view when you can sit out there is amazing.There is a queen murphy bed in the middle of the living room that cannot be closed. Very inconvenient.

Excellent view

The view was outstanding. Great to watch beach activities including kite flying. Could open balcony door and hear the ocean and let in the fresh air. Easy access to walk down to the beach. With door and window closed the unit was quiet. The unit was basic no frills. Not sure what was going on with the Murphy bed because we didn’t use but it was not fully closed. The carpet had a large stain that housekeeping cleaned at our request.

Good but needs a lot of improvement

Had a nice stay in room 313 (3rd floor corner unit). The entire property is very outdated and needs a good power wash, including the balcony where there’s seagull and pigeon poo. There’s no door mats so I can only imagine that poo gets tracked into the room. As for the room itself, it has all the basics needed but there can be room for improvement. To me, it feels like a hotel rather than a condo. All the furniture looks old and to be from the original motel before they turned into condos. It has an early 90s style. There’s no coffee table (which would be very nice to have), the kitchen table seats are so uncomfortable and seriously outdated. Have I emphasized enough how outdated this place is? Also, there are no clocks or clock radios in the bedroom or in the living room. The bed was very nice and comfortable and I slept very well, despite the small half size pillows.There was only one wine glass and 3 forks. Someone might need to do some restocking. For a room that can accommodate 4-6ppl, 3 forks and 1 wine glass is not enough. There’s no measuring cups or your basic kitchen essentials. It would be nice to have a drawer of pens, pencils, note paper, scissors, etc. There was none of that.And one major flaw with the entire DSands, there’s no place to wash off your sandy feet!!!

D river retreat

We have always loved the D River beach and this location was perfect to enjoy the beach and views of the sunset. We wish we could have stayed longer.

Great spot on the beach!

Very nice location with awesome ocean views. While it does have a full kitchen equipped with everything you need to cook with as far as pans and utensils, be sure to bring your own seasonings, oils, etc. unlike a lot of places I’ve stayed, there was none of those. Overall still a great experience!

Stay at the D Sands

We have stayed here several times in the past. They now charge more for their rooms, which if I remember correctly a “cleaning fee” is charged. Upon check out, you are required to wash the dishes used. I do not mind washing dishes. But do not charge me an additional cleaning fee when I am doing the cleaning. The only updating in this unit was that it was given a name. We will not be back.

Overall a good property, they are understaffed so cleanliness wasnt perfect but they did what they could. Would recommend.

The location is perfect for easy beach access.

The only downside for our stay was that the pool and hot tub were down for maintenance. The property explained they have been having issues and were hoping to have them be resolved soon. Because our stay was in the summer with beautiful weather, we had plenty to do to keep our children entertained. Had it been winter, it would have been more of a struggle for us not having the pool. Especially considering it was in large part that we chose this property. Overall though the condo was plenty big enough and stocked for our family. The views are gorgeous and the entire property was very clean and well kept. We will definitely be returning. The check in process was extremely easy as well.

Wish you had an elevator

I am disabled. The stairs were difficult, but our view was one in a million. Not noisy either. I just need more exercise.

Sister Get-a-way

D'Sands is always a wonderful place to stay for any occasion. My sister and I were hoping for a relaxing and rejuvenating, much needed weekend away and we got just what we hoped for. This property is very clean, safe and secure. The unit was just as listed. Very conveniently located and within walking distance to restaurants and a market. Will definitely be back!
