So Peaceful!

A really beautiful property and so peaceful. We enjoyed sitting on the porch watching the birds. The beds are really comfortable and the kitchen was fully stocked with coffee and cooking items. We will be back!

What a great place!

We loved our weekend here. The converted barn is so cozy and nicely done. Great king bed and shower, beautiful kitchen. Secure, private location in the mountains close to many trails. Enjoy

Lovely Villa

Great hideaway in the woods

This place is a great hideaway in the woods. It's so quiet! Perfect for a relaxing getaway. Easy run down to Alice's for food or you can head down either side of the hill to town. The place itself is clean and the beds are comfortable. Kitchen is well-stocked and the host is close by if you need anything. Would definitely stay here again.

Family gathering

My mother, girlfriend and I stayed her with my daughter who was graduating from highschool. It was an amazing location to have a nice family get together, a beautiful space, well appointed, with good spaces indoors and outdoors to talk and play games.

Graduation weekend

We enjoyed our stay at this charming hilltop “barn.” Beautifully decorated inside and out with short walk to view of the city in the distance - especially pretty at night. Very relaxing rain shower in master bath and fully equipped kitchen to prepare dinner for the family.

Unique, cozy, quiet stay

We loved our stay. The property is beautiful and so tranquil. Our weather was not ideal for most of the time but we enjoyed being tucked in with the wood burning stove and enjoying the quiet. The house is so unique in it's style and is well appointed with everything that we needed to enjoy our Christmas stay. Sacha was responsive whenever we needed anything and so pleasant to work with. I highly recommend this property as a great getaway from the craziness down the mountain. Thank you Sacha.

Great Stay !

We had a great stay and Sacha is just the sweetest host. Really loved it. It is a little far - not in distance but in time going up and down the mountain. We, however loved the drive because it is magnificent in nature and view. Highly recommend. - Best of being able to go into town and also being in the amazing nature. We dined at Woodside, Sarratoga Springs, Los Gatos and so much more ! Go go go !

Paradise on the Peninsula

If you want to get away from it all this is the property for you. It is centrally located at the top of the ridge line above Woodside CA. From there you can do anything and everything as we did. From the beaches along the pacific to SF to San Mateo and other bayside cities. It is private and secure behind a gated driveway with the most helpful host Sacha and her husband They were very helpful, attentive and gracious. The house was well equipped and comfortable. We entertained family on the deck overlooking the grounds and had many lovely cookouts at the koi stocked pond. Our very well behaved Shiba Inu had a good time too. He found the 8 acres of grounds fascinating.

Wonderful Stay

My wife and two kids (age 17 and 18) spent four nights in this lovely home. I picked the house based upon the inviting photos, its positive reviews and the fact that it was located just south of San Francisco, making the house convenient to San Francisco, Monterey, and the airport. The drive to and from the house was up over the mountains and through a stand of Redwood trees -- very beautiful and unexpected! The picturesque town of Woodside was close-by with several restaurants and a cute market. The house itself is private and secure. (There is a gate used to access the property controlled by a keycode.) It was very peaceful. Most importantly, however, the house was very, very clean. All furnishings (beds, couches, chairs, etc.) were very comfortable and high quality. Both of my kids expressed to my wife and I that this was the favorite place they've stayed on one of our vacations. There weren't really any downsides for my family and I, but some things for future visitors... The house is relatively remote (about 20 to 30 minutes from Woodside), so no popping out for a coffee in the morning. The main living area and bedroom are upstairs. There is no AC, so keeping an eye on area temperatures is recommended. (Windows are screened and fans are provided if it does get warm.) None of the above should detract potential visitors -- the house and location are fabulous -- but they are things to keep in mind. Overall, my family and I would rate this place a 10 out of 10.
