Casa Lourdes is a brand new house located in Santiago area of Merida, Centro. The house accommodates up to 4 guests maximum in 2 large bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms and has open concept kitchen, living and dining area. The house is full of natural light, great airflow throughout, relaxing patio by the pool and additional private patio of upper bedroom. In between main and the second floor there is a split level that is designed to be as a relaxing area or it could be used as separate private workspace.
As mentioned above house has a lot of natural light coming in the morning and even though all windows are tinted with SolarGuard film there are no extra curtains in the bedrooms so keep that in mind please. We will provide sleeping masks for the guests.
Given that house is located in the very Center of Mèrida occasional noise is to be expected at times.

Our host was responsive and the property was well maintained and beautiful. The artwork stood out. And having coffee and milk readily available on morning one, was extra thoughtful. If you’re looking for a centrally located property in Merida with a welcoming host, this property is just right.

Host was great. Very responsive. The property is nicely located and extremely well appointed. Everything worked well. My only complaint is that the are no drapes or curtains in the bedrooms. There are high exterior walls so one is not truly exposed, but there's no blocking the sun in the morning and there is no privacy if someone is in the pool area since they can see into the bedrooms.Extremely clean, nicely furnished. Would definitely stay there again.

The home is beautiful! We stayed here for 5 days with no issues. Nenad was in contact with me and ask me to reach out to him if there was any issues. I appreciated the whole interaction with him, we would definitely stay here again since it was nice and quiet at nights and the house is well kept.

The area was in the historic part of Merida lots of character in the building buildings. Parking was easy right on the street in front of the unit. The host was very responsive and helpful with any questions. The space was comfortable and well decorated. We enjoyed our stay here and would definitely stay again

Could Not have been better. The home was perfect and in the perfect neighborhood. We have stayed at so many rentals in Merida and this was our favorite. The host was so nice and responsive. You will not be disappointed.

Amazing stay

Within walking distance of everything in the Centro. The pool was amazing! Very private. Great communication with the host. We were in awe of the modern style of the building and how it was decorated. Visited the beach twice during our stay. Can't believe how inexpensive it was to Uber around the area.

Luxury Casa Lourdes

This was the most beautiful place we ever stayed in!It was our third time in Merida, and we stayed in hotels before. For just a little extra pay, one experiences a beauty of well-built and carefully tended house with exquisite architectural features. The owner, Nenad, has a mind of an artist who combines the beautiful art pieces with those practical features that one desires when travelling. This house has a nice kitchen with all necessary amenities. We dined at the close by restaurants (7 minutes walking distance) and made some tea when came back, but one can cook the whole meal in the kitchen (pans, pots, utensils, plates, cutting boards etc. are provided). We used a washer and dryer on our last day. This house is gorgeous and spotless, and the owner takes great care of it. Upon arrival we had a surprise of freshly baked local bread and pastries left for us. Thank you!The house is beautifully decorated inside with some unique art pieces (loved them!) and has gorgeous tropical plants outside near the pool. I enjoyed waking up with a view of tall palms and the sound of exotic birds! The swimming pool was excellent! The owner stayed in-touch with us and responded very quickly to any questions. Overall, it was a great mini-vacation and I would do it again! Thank you for your hospitality and sincere care!

Our Favourite Place in Merida

We enjoyed 5 nights here. The home is more beautiful than the photos. It was our sanctuary before and after long days of exploring the city and surrounding areas. We never had an issue with parking and always felt very safe. The laundry was extremely handy. The beds and linens were very comfortable and it was easy to control the temperature of the space with the fans and A/C. Some of our best memories were made by the pool - our lush and private oasis for morning coffee and evening drinks. But more than anything, we can’t say enough good things about the host, Nenad, and his efforts to ensure our stay was second to none. From the fresh local baked goods upon arrival to the thoughtful recommendations for everything and anything we enquired about, he was kind, patient and generous. We also appreciated the mid-visit house keeping and pool cleaning service though the house was spotless when we arrived. I have absolutely nothing negative to say whatsoever! It is worth noting that the second bedroom is upstairs - a private paradise of its own - though not pictured in the listing when I booked. Just something to keep in mind if someone has mobility issues. It’s really ideal for two couples to enjoy their own ample private spaces. Should we ever have the opportunity to visit Mérida again, this is the ONLY place we’d stay!

Amazing House and Host

Property is in a great location. It is spacious and full of natural light, with mini-split air conditioning in all bedrooms and common areas. Having one bedroom upstairs and one down created a nice degree of privacy.Kitchen is well appointed and was perfect for our group of four. Backyard garden and pool were great for us as well.Nenad was the best host we have ever had. Communication was easy, quick and extremely helpful.Others have noted that it gets bright in the bedrooms in the morning. If you enjoy sleeping past 8:30am you might want to skip this rental, but for everyone else I strongly recommend you choose this home!

Nowhere better

What a relaxing home! It is clean and modern. It has spacious rooms with vaulted ceilings filled with natural light. There is a natural conduction of air that keeps the space cool and and airy. After visiting several other rentals in the area, we know we got the best. The kitchen is fully equipped for cooking and the local markets are very close with plenty of wonderful foods. The neighborhood is safe, day and night, and we experienced no traffic noise. The host is attentive and is patient with our stupid questions. If we were to live in Merida, we would want a home just like this.

Our second stay here. Same positive experience as the first time. Great house in a convenient location. Listing is accurate. Spacious accommodation with well equipped kitchen, comfortable beds, and pleasant outdoor space. Walking distance to market, parks, restaurants, and attractions. Responsive, friendly host - even in the middle of the night when we locked ourselves out of the house. Everything you want in a quality rental.

Holiday in Merida

The house is beautiful and well equipped. We cooked many meals and the kitchen was wonderful. The house is located near the local neighborhood market, which we enjoyed visiting, eating and buying our food. La Lupita is a wonderful local taqueria in the market. The cleaning person came twice a week and kept everything very clean. Absolutely enjoyed our time here.

The communication was amazing! Check in was easy and the home was spotless! The location made it easy for us to walk to many parts of Centro! The home was quiet and the neighborhood very safe! I would stay here again!

Beautiful oasis in the city

This is a beautiful house, with lovely pool. The decor is comfy and contemporary. Loved the art on the walls. The housekeeper is friendly and does an excellent job and the same for the pool caretaker. The location is good. Takes about 10+ minutes to get to Calle 60 and about five more to Calle 47 where there are numerous restaurants. The neighborhood feels safe. There were a couple of things that guests should be aware of: there are no doors on the bathrooms of the bedrooms. The 30 KW for AC is skimpy, especially if you are using both bedrooms so I wouldn’t recommend this in the heat of the summer if you like AC. We live in Belize and our AC is very expensive so we certainly understand conserving. As for the noise of being in Centro, the first two weeks when music started in the evenings around 7 or 8 we could just hear the thumping loud music makes, in the living room, but the place playing it must have gotten a new sound system because our last week it was like a band was right in our living room and in the bedroom loud thumping so bring ear plugs. You will definitely need the provided eye mask as there are no curtains, which also adds to the the heat, but I understand curtains might take away from its spacious beauty. We enjoyed our stay.
