Designed with handicap accessibility in mind, our cabin features a main level suite with a walk-in shower and tub, making it comfortable for all guests. The lower level offers a cozy den and two bedrooms, providing ample space for everyone. The large kitchen with a coffee bar is perfect for preparing meals, and the attached two-car carport offers convenience.

Constructed with plenty of wood and featuring a real wood-burning fireplace, our newer cabin offers a cozy and inviting atmosphere. Set on a wooded 3-acre lot, the cabin offers utmost privacy, making it a perfect retreat for relaxation and rejuvenation.

The location of our cabin is ideal for outdoor enthusiasts, with Ridge Haven, The Wilds, Rosman/Brevard, and Gorges State Park just minutes away. Pisgah National Forest, known for its picturesque trails and waterfalls, is only 16 minutes away, while Dupont State Forest, with its renowned biking and hiking trails, is 30 minutes away. And for those looking to explore the vibrant city of Asheville, it's just a scenic 45-minute drive.

We had a wonderful stay! The cabin is beautiful and all the beds were comfortable. We could not ask for a more beautiful view. The owner was great and responded quickly to our questions. 6 adults and a 4 year old. Shopping in Hendersonville and Ashville are pretty close. We went on several hikes we loved. Could not have asked for anything better. Wish we could give 10 stars.

Excellent place to stay! Beautiful views, clean home and great outdoor spaces. I would definitely stay here again. Cleaning crew overlooked cleaning the coffee pot and not having enough towels in the lower level bathroom. Bedding was nice and clean. Master bedroom could use new pillows. Kitchen was well stocked with cooking utensils, plenty of cookware and dishes. Plenty of outdoor firewood for fire pit use.

So sorry to hear about the small minor overlooks. As we stated we are normally personally responsible for the cleaning. However, my wife was unable to be available for the clean due to unforeseen circumstances. This minor thing would have never been overlooked otherwise. We had to have a fill in cleaner on this day and unfortunately it didn't help us any. From what we can tell everything else was pristine and accommodating. We do apologize for any inconveniences with the coffee pot and there are always extra towels under the sinks in all bathrooms Our reviews speak highly on what things normally look like upon arrival as nothing short of immaculate We hope this doesn't hinder future stays , as we appreciate the respect you gave to our home.

Our stay was better than we expected. The house very clean and was fully equiped with everything you need while away from home. The view from the patio was spectacular and it was nice to sit out in the morning with coffee as well as when you come back from a long day of hiking to waterfalls and tracking down White Squirrels to sit outside and enjoy a meal. The privacy that the property offers was delightful. Troyce our host was very accomodating and responsive to any and all requests.

Wonderful home, beautiful view!

We could not ask for anything different. The home was beautiful, comfortable, super clean and had the most amazing view. So many nice amenities and we loved the fireplace on the cold evenings. We would definitely come back again!

This place is awesome. The drive up the mtn was a little scary at 1st, but also wasn't used to driving in the mtns. The host was very accommodating and responded promptly to any ?'s we had. We are defiantly booking again.

Beautiful!

Such a beautiful home- and that view!!!! They have updated furniture from their posting- so cozy and inviting. Such a lovely home to return to after a day of hiking! It’s secluded, but close to everything you’d need or anywhere you want to go. The drive to the house was easy and mostly paved. We loved it and hope to be back!

Beautiful home with a beautiful view

Everything is clean, inviting, relaxing and cozy. The host is very responsive and accommodating. Because the house sits on the side of the mountain, the driveway is VERY steep. Just be careful to go down in 1st gear.

Beautiful, clean home with amazing views

We were so impressed with this home and its owners! The front porch views are amazing and the inside is well appointed and VERY clean. Additionally, the house was stocked with extra items that were not expected (e.g soaps, toothbrush/paste, coffee and coffee pods, to name a few). The owners were friendly and responded quickly to texts. This has been our best VRBO experience yet and we can’t wait to return!

Mountain Retreat

We had a wonderful time. The property is beautiful, newer construction, open and airy nestled in the woods but with an awesome view. It had a great layout for my husband and I, our daughter, her husband and two young children because their bedrooms and a bathroom, sitting room and porch were all downstairs - like their own little suite. It was also wheelchair friendly which was important for us. We enjoyed hanging out there in the evening and during the day we drove up to the parkway for hiking and sightseeing and explored some of the nearby state parks. Great place to stay! I highly recommend it.

Weekend getaway & recharge

The cabin was even better than expected! The extra touches the owner has made us feel like home. We made the decision to travel last minute, and they jumped through hoops for a check in 15 hours later. We are already planning our next vacation, but staying longer. All communication with the owners was quick & detailed. They are very attentive, and went over & above to ensure we had everything we needed.

Lots of WOW!

You know a place is great when there are no complaints from a teen, tween, and child!! Our whole family loved this adorable mountain home! The views are breathtaking and the feeling of nature is so peaceful! We also liked the layout with the extra bedrooms on the lower level including a lounge area and the primary bedroom on the main floor. The host is also super responsive! We enjoyed exploring the Pisgah National Forest with all levels of hiking. The little town of Brevard has cute shops and many food options. We plan to visit again!

We stayed the last weekend in October. The owners were helpful and easy to communicate with. The house is absolutely beautiful and clean! Great views! The house is open and has a beautiful covered porch with a propane fire pit. The house also have a covered parking spot with an outside fire pit with fire provided. The only suggestion is to have an all wheel drive vehicle for the driveway. Overall the house was beautiful and such a great time. We will book again!

PERFECTION!

If you can come to this part of the world but once in your lifetime, this is the place to stay! This location was perfect for its proximity to historic Brevard, waterfalls, hiking, and Lake Toxaway [pronounced tok' away]. The view of the valley and mountainside was second to none, especially during peak autumn. We spent a great deal of time relaxing on the back deck/balcony -- watching the sunrise, absorbing the view, and gazing at the moon and constellations. The home is nicely appointed, spacious, and very clean. The owners are gracious, responsive, and accommodating. The location is remote yet convenient. Just a heads up, the driveway is steep and can be intimidating; focus, drive slowly, and prepare yourself for the incredible view and memories on the other end! We will definitely be back...annually!

Look No Further - This is THE Rental

Rented this beautiful cabin on a complete whim. Contacted the owners, Troyce and Sonya late Friday evening and rented the cabin for the following day through Sunday. Sonya bent over backwards and her communication was spot on - SUPER prompt. The hospitality was even better! The house has everything you could possibly want and need. I could spend my days swinging on the porch overlooking the mountains landscape. Should you want to explore, the small town of Brevard and Gorges State Park are approximately 15 miles away. I cannot speak highly enough about this rental and the owners! Eagerly planning our next trip to this little slice of heaven - even though we are a family of 3. Thank you times a million Troyce and Sonya!
