Enjoy the lake views, sunrise and sunsets from this piece of heaven. This home sleeps 2 comfortably and makes for an amazing romantic retreat. Springy Point Campground is nearby for launching a boat, swimming, kayaking or whatever your heart desires for water FUN! It's very private and close to town. The pictures say it all!!! If you have any questions, please don't hesitate to ask. Please tell us a little bit about yourself and your plans. We like to know who is staying in our home. Thank you!

Note: We provide 2 full rolls of toilet paper, please plan accordingly.

We are disappointed in receiving 4 stars, particularly without explanation. We do our best to provide a 5 star experience. We know that there are those that will never be happy with one's efforts, no matter how hard one tries. One last note, our home was a gift from their son and future daughter in law. So it is likely it wasn't a place they would have chosen.

Lovely Secluded Spot to Rest

Loved this location, the views are beautiful! Would stay here again. Only one suggestion for the host: The bedroom needs more/better curtains to block the morning sunshine -- it's blindingly bright and it's almost impossible to sleep in!

A hidden gem!

This place was amazing. You can tell that the owner really cares about her home. It was spotless and very cozy with an amazing view of the lake. Without a doubt the cleanest vacation rental I’ve ever stayed in. We enjoyed our time here!

Lake views are stunning!

This house has the best of both worlds…a cabin in the woods kind of feel, with gorgeous views of the lake, and the perfect amount of amenities to be comfortable. The deck was great for enjoying the cool evenings. It’s just a short drive to town, and you can easily walk right down the street to enjoy the water at the campground. My only complaint is that we didn’t get to stay longer!

Hidden gem!

We loved everything about our stay at this property. The location, the views, the wildlife! Tammy does a great job of paying attention to details and it shows. From instruction labels at every turn to leaving drinks in the fridge to greet the guests. We would go back again in a heartbeat.

Amazing property

The property is eclectic, fun and includes a family of ospreys, bunnies and a chipmunk that will peak at you around the trees. Gorgeous view of the lake, mountains and sunset. But, my favorite part, the outdoor shower! Totally private and refreshing!

Nature's wonderland

We enjoyed our two night stay so much! It was 2 minutes from Springy Point Campground, where we swam & 10-15 minutes from Sandpoint. We loved the place & we were very comfortable. We cooked two nights for dinner & BBQ'd one night. There's Mama & baby Osprey in a perch right on the gorgeous property. We saw a Doe & a few bunnies, too.

What a wonderful VRBO

I was looking for a peaceful location and place to stay after a hectic 1st half of 2023. This VRBO hit the target 100%. Quiet, beautiful views of the lake and watching those Osprey was delightful. And the outdoor shower was out of this world. We were close to Sandpoint for entertainment and able to take day trips around the area. I would book this place again. Thank you for making us so comfortable.

Amazing Views

Excellent from beginning to end! Very welcoming when we arrived and was given a tour along with recommendations for outings and dining! Lots of windows made the views amazing from every area! The home was clean with very unique touches that made us feel right at home. It was awesome to sit out on the patio and hear nature surrounding you. The flowers and greenery were spectacular up against the forest in the background. Very much recommended for a couple looking for some peace and quiet with shopping, outdoor activities and dining very close! Schweitzer mountain is a must see as well!

Heavenly Peaceful

The most eclectic little slice of heaven. Views from everywhere! A super comfy bed! I wish we would have had more time! So close to town but yet you would never know. We loved sitting on the porch, watching the osprey, showering outside, and napping on the couch. The little things like homemade soaps with lavender from the garden tied around it, and fresh cherry tomatoes from the garden. I hope to be able to come back next summer.

The Full Package!

The house was clean, comfortable and private. Tammy was most helpful with tips for eating, hiking and shopping - thank you! The area is beautiful with plenty of outdoor activities. The outdoor shower is a "must try"! We hope to stay again.

My family came to Sandpoint Idaho in the late 1800's with the Great Northern Pacific Railroad. My Grandfather and Grandmother contracted with the railroad as an Engineer and telegrapher. My knowledge of the area is deep and I am happy to share some of the local secrets so that you can have a wonderful and special experience.
