Retreat close to all things adventure in SW CO

We provide a comfortable and safe place to stay. We are located between Cortez and Dolores, near Conquistador Golf Course. Durango is a short drive, as well as Telluride, or Silverton.

When you walk into our space there is a work area with a desk. Then there is a bedroom, through the next door is another bedroom. The bedrooms are setup where you have to go through one bedroom to get to the other. Up the stairs is the kitchen, eating area, and small sitting area with a tv. There is also a small deck where you can take in some of the surrounding views.

Downstairs we have converted the heated/cooled garage into a kids play space where there are many toys for little ones to play with. Across the play room you will find the bathroom and laundry.

Very close to my brother’s place, so convenient. Close to Mesa verde. Nice to have access to laundry. Nice walking around the neighborhood. The only negative is that if you stay in the back bedroom, you have to walk through the front bedroom to use the bathroom. Nice kitchen, oddly no coffee mugs.

4 Corners Hideaway

Quiet and peaceful place just outside Cortez. This was a great base location for our visit to Mesa Verde National Park and Canyons of the Ancient National Monument. The dining area looked West and provided wonderful sunset views.

Great location! Close to several attractions, but far enough from town that it was quiet. House had everything we needed and plenty of room for us to spread out in. Owners were very personable & available when we needed something. Would definitely rent from them again!

Quirky but Quaint

Immaculate home. We kind of liked the trip through the unoccupied children's play room to the bathroom! The washer and dryer was very convenient. Easy to get to Mesa Verde National Park or Cortez. Loved our stay.

Bestt VRBO in the area

From our perspective, this is the best VRBO in the area. Hosts were great and really made sure we had a great experience. For us the location was close to family and allowed us to unwind and relax after several day trips to surrounding national parks and landmarks. This was the first time we explored locations outside of the local region. We visited Meteor Crater, Petrified Forest, Arches National Park, and the Grand Canyon. Lots of driving but well worth it.

Beautiful and Peaceful Retreat

My wife and I stayed here for three nights in June, and we thoroughly enjoyed it! The guest house is attractive, clean, comfortable, private, and in a nice, quiet location with beautiful views. We enjoyed drinking our coffee on the deck in the mornings, and watching the sunsets over the mountain in the evening. The unit was stocked with everything we needed, and the hosts were very helpful and responsive with any questions we had. Thank you for a wonderful stay. We would love to visit again!

Good Stay at the Apartment

Outside the town but near Cortez, this place served well for our Mesa Verde visit. Bedrooms are nice and on the ground floor with the bathroom across the garage and took some time to get used to it. Loved the sunset from the second floor and balcony. We would return if coming to the area again.

While visiting Mesa Verde

My wife and I stayed here on a trip to Mesa Verde National Park. We liked everything about the accommodations. It was easy to find, just two turns off the main highway. It was nice to be in a neighborhood, and a quiet one at that. The inside was very clean and well supplied with everything we needed. We enjoyed the view from the deck both morning and evening. The beds were clean and comfortable. The communication with the host was minimal but adequate to keep us informed. We would definitely recommend this property.

Mesa Verde Stay- 2 nights

We loved staying here and it was very easy access to the park! Clean, comfortable, and the hosts were very responsive. The bedrooms are connected with a doorway that you can shut. The living room/dining/kitchen are upstairs. The bathroom is across the garage with the laundry, but the garage space is really not a garage (no vehicles, clean). There are rugs and couches and it’s very kid-friendly and spacious! There is also a deck out back. Would definitely stay again.

stay for a family reunion

loved the space!!! so much room. We were in town for a family reunion. the others in the hotel in town (2 miles away) spent more money. Loved the blankets for the couches. Only thing we didn't notice from the listing was that one bedroom can only be entered by walking through the other bedroom. It wasn't an issue for us, but it might be an issue for others if they didn't notice. Perfect space for small family to get away. close to Mesa Verde.

Clean, roomy place to stay with a well-equipped kitchen. We are usually staying in VRBOs to hike in the area, and we actually use the kitchen for cooking breakfast and sometimes dinner. This one was better than most for our needs. Friendly hosts as well. Would recommend 100%

Very clean and a great value

Great little vacation rental in a convenient location. We came to see Mesa Verde and Canyons of the Ancients and this was the perfect place to launch from. Very clean. Kitchen is stocked with basics. Big bathroom (across a shop/garage, but not a big deal) with washer and dryer. Easy check in and check out. We would definitely stay again!

Good location.

This was a nice property that was reasonably close to Mesa Verde National Park (the reason for our visit). The bedrooms were comfortable and the living area was nice. We were a little surprised that the bathroom was across a garage but it wasn't a deal breaker. We enjoyed our stay.
