Relax at this private property just a short walk (on a sidewalk) to the lake. This beautiful home provides plenty of room for your family & friends. Professionally decorated offering 2 private masters with kings (one with toddler bed) and an additional private room with a queen -all new Temperpedic mattresses and bedding to snuggle into after a busy day. Each room has a newly updated bathroom. The loft provides a queen bed, twin over full bunk, double futon, and single pull out couch. A comfy queen sleeper sofa in the living room and a new air mattress for any extra comfort you may need. Whether boating in the summer or skiing in the winter, this home is perfectly placed minutes away from the lake (a short walk on the new sidewalk!), Wisp, beach, gourmet restaurants, spas, Garrett County Fairgrounds, grocery & liquor store, Funland/Funzone, boutiques, mt coaster and ropes course to name some of the fun activities. Don't forget your bikes, for a quick trip to the lake, shops etc. Enjoy boating, kayaking, jet skis and fishing every day during your stay-several local marinas make the possibilities endless. There’s plenty of room to park a boat on the driveway. For those rainy days you'll find a pool table, endless games and toys. If you like to eat in, a fully stocked kitchen awaits you with all new appliances and plenty of seating. A patio set with new gas grill on the back deck are available for a relaxing night. If you choose to enjoy one of the fabulous restaurants reservations are recommended -see the binder provided for great options. Relax with your coffee in one of the many adirondak chairs on the gated deck-to keep little ones safe (a pack & play/booster/highchair also provided). A stone firepit adorns the gated private back yard to provide an evening under the stars- additional chairs provided and also the perfect spot for camping out on a warm night. There is just so much to enjoy a weekend isn't long enough! Don't forget the expansive driveway for at least 6 cars and even a boat or 2. This is a Mountain Dream waiting to make your dreams come true. The mountains are calling, let your adventure begin!

Mountain Dreams truly is a cozy cabin and yet our family of seven had plenty of space for all with room to spare. Enjoyed morning coffee on the front porch and making s'mores in the evening over the fire pit. Want to thank our hosts for allowing us to make wonderful memories at Deep Creek Lake.

Communication with owner was prompt and check-in went smoothly. The location was very convenient and the home had lots of space.Unfortunately the property was not very clean. The back deck with the outdoor table and grill appeared not to have been cleaned for quite awhile. The kitchen trash can lid was broken so had to be opened by hand and was dirty underneath. There were empty plastic waterbottles under one bed in the loft area, and lastly a load of wet stinky clothes left in the dryer. This may all be due to the cleaning company, who knows, but the fact remains I paid a cleaning fee when i rented the property and did expect the property to be clean when my family arrived. Would not recommend or rent this property again.

Beautiful private home in the woods

Came with my husband and our two sons to celebrate my 60th birthday. Cabin was comfortable with plenty of space for us to all spread out. Enjoyed the fire pit and the close proximity to the lake. Well equipped and had everything we needed. Visited Swallow fall park which was well worth seeing.

Great experience!

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Mountain Dreams! The property is beautiful, well-kept, and clean. The host was kind, timely with responses, and welcoming, and the experience was great! We would absolutely stay here again!

Amazing experience

This property far exceeded my expectations! It was 12 grown men from the ages of 25 to 58 and there was plenty of room and very comfortable. First time we did a trip like this and staying in this property helped to make the experience even better!

Great location & fenced yard

We stayed 5 nights with our dog. She loved the big, fenced yard. We used the huge firepit twice. The location was excellent, close to everything. The size, while too big for just us, would be perfect for a large group, lots of sleeping options and bathrooms. The kitchen was well stocked and the appliances all worked well. We had some issues that we'll take up with the owner privately, but overall it was a nice stay.

Relaxing Long Weekend

The house was just as described in the listing. The couple of minor issues we had were quickly resolved by the property manager who was very responsive. Would recommend having instructiins for the TV and labeling the various light switches to make things a bit easier. Had a nice, relaxing long weekend.

McHenry Stay

Great spot, close to everything! We rented a boat from Lake Life down the road and had a great experience. Exactly as pictured. Would stay again!

Best stay at Deep Creek Lake

We are just back from a fantastic stay at this lovely place at Deep Creek lake. The three days that we were here it was rainy and a bit too cold to be outdoors unfortunately, but we still had a fabulous time and we credit it all to the house we were staying in. We walked in to a super clean house, nicely stocked and decorated. We were a group of 11 and there was ample sleeping space. The teens and kids actually everyone had enough games and a pool table to keep us occupied. More than one TV in different rooms though we only used the one in the living area. We found everything we needed in the kitchen. The location is also great- close to the lake but also to the local beverage store and groceries and also a fun place called Funland- which had some activities - go karting mini- golf- something for the kids. It was also only a short drive to Swallow Falls State Park which has some nice hiking trails. We visited at a time when lake activities had not opened yet and skiing was over as well- but we still had a fun time. We will be back again.

Perfect for our writing retreat!

We used the house for a writing retreat for 10 people. Everything was clean, and I appreciated that the beds were even made. The house had lovely and tasteful decorations. Everyone had ample space to spread out for the writing sessions, and we had unseasonably warm weather that meant that we could use the decks as well. The neighborhood was nice for walks when we needed breaks. We even had a yoga teacher come and lead a class with us in the basement one morning! The kitchen was very well-equipped and left us needing nothing as we prepared a number of meals. The only caveat I'd leave others is that the upstairs space was a little cramped with adults in each bed. We probably had a unique situation in that none of us were family members, and most other renters would probably not mind.

Thanksgiving with family

My family and I had a wonderful stay. This property had everything we needed to enjoy our trip. The kids especially loved the games and the adults loved that everything needed to enjoy our stay was available. The decor beyond met our expectations. We’re already making plans for next years Thanksgiving. I would definitely recommend this property.
