Riverfront with spectacular Mountain View’s

Welcome to Hideaway Ridge! Great house on 4 acres tucked away high on a hill, right on the beautiful Caddo River. Great place for families or a weekend get away with friends. You can enjoy your morning coffee or evening cocktail on the large deck with views of the mountains and sounds of the river below!
There’s a short hike down the hill to the river where you can pack a picnic and enjoy a nice day on the rock bar by the river.
Plenty of games are provided as well as a charcoal grill and a fire pit for relaxing nights by the fire. All the modern amenities are available to make for a pleasant stay.
Grocery store and kayak/canoe rentals are less than 5 minutes away in Glenwood.
So many fun activities are nearby!
Glenwood is centrally located between 3 major lakes- Lake Greeson, Ouachita, and DeGray
Hot Springs is only 30 miles away.
Eagle Rock Loop in Ouachita National Forest is only 20-30 minutes away in Langley with amazing hiking trails, waterfalls, and swimming.
Crater of Diamonds State Park in Murfreesboro is 30 miles away
Quartz Crystal Mine in Mt Ida is 20 miles away

Nice place with good scenery

Nice place tucked away in the hills just minutes from Glenwood. River is nice in this area too with a little swimming hole to hang out in.

Beautiful view with river access

This is a beautiful home with a spectacular view! We really enjoyed eating, playing and sitting on the large porch. It was great to have access to the river without having to drive anywhere. We also loved that it was secluded from others. Would definitely book again!

Wonderful Stay and Views

Check-in was very easy with keyless entry. The house was very clean and well stocked! Everything we needed and more! The views are amazing and the porch swing was my favorite place to sit. The kids loved playing the bean bags game on the porch. The access to the river is very steep, but given the time of year, we did not use it much. Would definitely recommend!

Wonderful week on the river!

Great week! We enjoyed a relaxing week playing games, grilling out, hiking, cooking, and floating the river. The host was very responsive and helpful to answer any questions. They literally thought of everything from first aid supplies to any cooking utensil needed for the chef in your group. The view was beautiful from the amazing deck and wood-stocked fire pit. The home is very private with cabins in site, but not too close. It is on a very high bluff, so be prepared for a hike down to the river, but it's worth it once you're there. Canoe/kayak rentals within 5 minutes as well as the quaint downtown of Glenwood. We loved it all!

Great property!

My husband and two young children took an impromptu vacation after Christmas. This property was perfect! The location is great… Close to restaurants, grocery store, etc., but also private and secluded. The deck overlooks the river, and the view was beautiful! We even got snow while we were there! My kids were related! My five-year-old had never seen snow before. Can't recommend this place enough!

Patio overlook

Had a giant partial wrap around porch with plenty of seating and one nice big swing chair. Good location outside of town but close enough to stores if needed. Nice covered area next to house to grill and or park under if need be. Great amount amenities in the kitchen makes the stay nice. Close enough to the water to have a short walk to the stairs or drive down the maybe 1/4 mile to stairs to the water.

Nice Peaceful View

It is on a river bluff, but not a high one! The porch view of the Caddo and distant pasture with deer is peaceful. We spent most of our time there. The cabin was spotless. It is a short drive into town, so don't forget anything or you'll have to go about 15 minutes back to town. The only negative was the access to the river is steep and risky for older adults. So my husband did not get to fish. We also were made aware every morning that a skunk was in the neighborhood! Look out! :)

Incredible view!

Absolutely gorgeous view and setting! The property is set in a clearing surrounded by woods. It is very peaceful. The porch and porch swing were a big hit with my toddlers. They were able to run back and forth while we were able to enjoy the fabulous view. Home is very clean and it is easy to find everything. Kitchen is pretty AND stocked with everything you need - she even had containers for leftovers which was VERY much appreciated. Never seen that at a vacation rental before. Helped us to not have to cook every meal when you could rely on leftovers. Enjoyed the privacy we had at the river - felt like the only people in the world. Would return!

We had the BEST time! We enjoyed floating the river, fishing, taking in the view, and playing board games every night! The water was amazing! The house was so nice, and clean! We will definitely be back!!!

Peace on the river

This place is beautiful. The property is great, the trail to get to the river is a bit tricky but doable. The right twin bed in the front room has the hands down most comfortable bed I’ve ever slept on! I should have checked to see the grand of the mattress, it was that good. My husband found his first arrowhead on this trip and that was amazing! Arkansas is absolutely beautiful. This house is just as well! And we also loved the front porch!!!

Weekend getaway

This is a nice clean house on the river, but the river is almost inaccessible. There are some steps but the rest of the way is still very steap. If you are wanting a house to relax in the water and enjoy the river, this probably isnt the one.

Family Vacation 2023

We loved it the house was warm and inviting. Very clean and had all the amenities we could possibly need. We were centrally located so getting to the places we wanted to go was fairly easy. The kids loved being on the river and being able to swim right there. It is a trek down to the river and access to find a spot to get in was tricky just because of rocks and grass but you are able to get in.

We are from Louisiana and have been kayaking the Caddo since our honeymoon 17 years ago. We started taking our kids when they were young. They loved stopping every chance they got to look for “treasure” lost in the water ( sunglasses, fishing poles, etc.)
They still enjoy it today. The water is so clear and cool in the summertime. So refreshing to swim! We love that Glenwood is only a short drive from home to be able to enjoy all the beauty that this area has to offer!

The rock where you can cliff jump is located just down the property with a great swimming hole!
