Recently Remodeled! Black Bear Hideaway is a short drive to the 'must see' Mesa Falls and 30 minutes to the gates of Yellowstone! This 3 bedroom home is perfect for families & friends to gather. Nestled at the edge of the forest we see lots of wildlife right from the windows. A brand new hot tub out on the deck along with the fire pit are the perfect places to relax and enjoy the beautiful surroundings without even leaving the property. A spacious home base for day trips into the park, snowmobiling, fishing, ATV trips, and hiking. The home has everything you will need including clean sheets, towels, full kitchen, Keurig coffee machine, plates & utensils.

The host thought of everything to have on hand for guests traveling. The cabin is nestled in a good location, off the main roads but close to restaurants if wanted The hot tub was welcoming after hiking in Yellowstone. Super comfortable for a family!I didn’t have many questions but Kurt replied immediately to any I had since I made the reservation last fall! Highly recommend this place!

The cabin was cozy and provisions were thoughtfully set up for a comfortable and accommodating home away from home. The cabin was conveniently located just a short drive from Yellowstone and lots of other amenities. Kurt was responsive and accommodating for all of our needs. Great option!

A home away from home

We had the most wonderful stay at Black Bear Hideaway. Such a homely and cozy atmosphere with everything we could ever need. It was the perfect end to our days exploring Yellowstone.

Yellowstone trip

Great place bigger then we thought had great time. Just about 30 min drive with animals and rivers between it and Yellowstone so lots to look at around cabin area too.

Family get away

Cabins in the woods

Went for a sister weekend trip in February. Wonder cabin! Well put together. Had everything you need. Very clean. Awesome location. Excellent host! 10 out of 10 would recommend. Little high on the price side but that is vrbo's fault.

Amazing cabin

This is a wonderful, all you need and more cabin. It’s very roomy but with a feel of coziness. Beds were very comfortable and warming. Jacuzzi was a very nice addition to a long day roaming the area. West Yellowstone is 30 mins. I can’t say enough about the helpful host. One of the best hosts to communicate with. If we ever go into that area again we would definitely stay again.

Great location/perfect amenities

We had a total of 2 adults, 2 teenagers and 3 kids. The kitchen is big and spacious, table holds a lot of people. Nice to have a roll out queen bed to put in the family room as it was a little hot upstairs (it is july) great communication with host and would stay here again. Ot tub was wonderful and big and clean.Only recommendation is to have more fans either available or bring your own if you are there in the summer.

Comfortable, Clean, and Well Stocked

The house is about 40 minutes from the Yellowstone entrance in a small quiet neighborhood. The hosts had great communication. The house was clean and comfortable with a well stocked kitchen, plenty of linens, a giant couch and an inviting hot tub and fire pit. We had some warm days and were worried about the lack of A/C, but the house cools down enough at night to keep it comfortable during the day so long as some screened windows get opened. Overall, it was a great base for our Yellowstone adventures.

Cozy warm cabin in the woods.

Clean cozy and comfortable! The beds were comfy! The kitchen and living room was spacious! Only thing I would say as a slight negative was we came in winter and the drive was packed with snow and I even have a lifted 4x4 truck and got stuck because they didn't have the driveway plowed. But that was the only thing!! The cabin is wonderful and I would highly recommend staying there!!

You won’t regret booking this!

This cabin was perfect for our Yellowstone adventures! It was about 30 mins from the town of West Yellowstone and entrance but we didn’t mind the drive, plenty of beautiful scenery to look at. The host Kurt and his wife were super helpful and responded quickly anytime we communicated. The check in process was a door code that you were given the day of check in and super easy to get in. The cabin was decorated so cute and homey we commented on it all week 😍 There is a full kitchen with everything you need so we did cook several meals during our stay. The kitchen table was perfect for a big family or group, we spent many nights around iy laughing and enjoying the hot tub after the park. Would recommend to anyone and would stay here again if I ever find myself in the area! Thanks for the wonderful stay K & B!

Great cabin rental…super cozy!

Cabin was clean. Location was great. Owners were amazing and communicated very well. Check in and out process was easy. The amenities were perfect…they thought of everything to make our stay memorable. Island Park is magical. We enjoyed the hot tub. Beds were super comfortable. We will book again!

Great Cabin

Great stay, comfy cabin.

We absolutely enjoyed our stay. The cabin was done perfectly. The owners have thought of everything to make your stay feel like home. Very spacious cabin with great family room. The hot tub was great after a long day in the parks! Owner was super responsive with communcation. All new appliances and bedding was very comfortable. The cabin was super clean. I would definitely stay there again if we ever get a chance to be out West again!

Yellowstone/Tetons Family Vacation

Kurt and his wife’s property was newly updated and had everything you could possibly need with so many bonuses! 30 minutes to west entrance of Yellowstone and a little over 2 hours to the Tetons. Would highly recommended this to anyone visiting the parks!

Better than the pictures!

This was the perfect place for our family after a long day at Yellowstone. Plenty of space for the kids to spread out, quiet location, and loved the hot tub! The cabin was completely updated and very clean. Would definitely recommend to friends and family!

Great for a family get away!

We met some friends here for the weekend, which consisted of two families of three which included a toddler and a baby. This cabin worked great for us, the one room downstairs is far away from the two rooms upstairs so the kiddos didn't wake each other up. The dining room table consisted of two bench seats which made it so I couldn't secure my daughters travel high chair, but when we were packing up I think they had one in a closet that would've worked well. The kitchen is the most fully stocked kitchen I have ever seen in a rental, they also had at least one pack and play along with plenty of extra linens. The couch in the living room is the most comfortable couch I have ever sat on and fit three adults easily for an afternoon nap. The hosts were very friendly and thorough with all communication before, during, and after our stay. Our only complaint was having such a late check in and early check out time, an extra hour for each of those would've been really nice. However the hot tub outside did make up for that one negative, it was the perfect way to end each day. I would highly recommend this place if you are looking for a quiet little get away.
