Modern Cottage on the Susquehanna River

Located directly on the Susquehanna River in The Endless Mountains, “The Eagles Nest" has all the modern amenities you need, while still making you feel cozy and at home in this charming cottage. Enjoy dinner on the 3 season porch or relax on the large deck and watch the Eagles and wildlife from the perfect vantage point. Families and friends can kayak, fish or simply lounge and read a book. Bring your boat and launch directly from the property (we highly recommend a 4WD truck to launch your boat). In the evenings you can have a campfire (wood is supplied for you) or light the propane fireplace on the deck. And if you want to leave the house, you can take a 15 minute drive to Tunkhannock to visit the wineries or antique stores. The vacation possibilities are endless!

We had an absolutely wonderful stay at this home in Pennsylvania. It was completely relaxing and tranquil, exactly what we needed. The property is beautifully maintained and offers plenty of amenities that made our stay comfortable and stress-free.We especially appreciated the special touches throughout the house. You can tell the hosts truly care about their guests’ experience. And the view? Absolutely amazing. The house is well appointed and so clean! The view from the deck and the location are amazing. We were out on the river everyday fishing, swimming and kayaking. Overall, a really nice place to reconnect with family and relax.

Wonderful weekend getaway

This house was beautiful, clean, open, and exactly what is pictured. There are lots of amenities and we had plenty to do while staying there. At night the backyard can get pretty buggy but with games and a TV we were all set. Holly was responsive, kind and gracious. I would recommend this house to anyone that asked.

River Gem

The Eagle’s Nest property is a hidden gem situated on the Susquehanna River. The home is immaculate and designed so well. The huge deck, the privacy and the view were major benefits for us. We loved every minute of our stay. Holly was a pleasure to deal with throughout our booking process and our short visit. Hope to revisit soon.

Amazing Easter Vacation

This place is definitely a 5-star!!! We utilized this retreat as an Easter getaway with friends and family, plus our dogs! It's beautiful, well maintained and has everything you can think of!
