Terrible Short Term Rental

I read previous reviews and they described the home as not being clean and I decided to take the chance as we were in Greensboro for the furniture market and would be spending very limited amounts of time in the home. I own 3 short term rentals so I may be very critical because I pride myself in keeping my homes in top shape. I would be very embarrassed to rent this home in the shape it is in. It seemed the hosts purchased an older well lived in home, decorated with used furniture, hung a few pictures on the wall called it good and put it on VRBO. There were broken drawers in the dresser, lamps that did not work, fans that did not work, leftover food in the fridge when we arrived, very few useable coffee cups, half a wine opener (we left one for the next guests), mold in the shower, water stains around the base of 2 toilets...it was dark so it could also be mold, stains on the carpet, only one hair dryer for 3 bathrooms, barley any hangars in the closets. Thankfully the sheets were clean and we had asked for extra towels prior to checking in. The host was very nice and responded quickly and I sent some of these concerns to her prior to checking out. I really do hope they take the time to make changes as this house should not be considered a "vacation" rental.

Vacation home

Space was comfortable for a family of 8. Location was good. Quiet neighborhood. Kitchen cooking supplies need to be updated alot of old pans and cabinets need to be organized. It weather was cold outside when we visited and the downstairs temp never went over 69 even after we called host and they advised they would adjust from their home. Had to wear coats while downstairs. We were able to control upstairs but not the downstairs. Renters should be able to control heat and air conditioning. Clothes dryer takes a long time to dry. We had to set timer on 60 min twice to get clothes dried even with cleaning the lint drawer each time we used.

4 bedrooms in Greensboro

Overall, the place accommodated our family of teenagers, was clean and had the basic necessities. The living area could use some additional seating, and the house could use a few updates/TLC, but overall- nice place for the price.

Home is in a great neighborhood and is as described in the ad. Great for sleeping arrangements but definitely not for eating or relaxing. There is literally 1 futon to sit on. No couches anywhere. Beds were comfortable. If your looking for a place to sleep it’s excellent. Suited our needs. But if you plan on anything in the home you will find it difficult.

More than disappointed!

Based upon the advertisement and pictures, you say there is a futon in bedroom 4, and that's not the case at all. None of the bedrooms have 2 beds or a futon. After careful review of your pictures; pictures 9 and 19, are the same room and bed with a slightly different layout. The patio looks nothing like the pictures. Your welcome email stated there extra linen and towels in the main/primary/on-suite(whatever you like to call it). That's not the case, either. There is 1 extra set of sheets for 4 bedrooms; there isn't anything extra about that. Not to mention there only 4 towels, 4 face clothes, and 3 hand towels. For a 4 bedroom house that sleeps 8, how is that extra, when there isn't even enough for the people in the house. The house needs some TLC and a very good cleaning!!! Some things are nasty and tore up, and some held together with literally duck tape. I've attached some pictures of your house. Oh, and I forgot to mention the kitchen lacks the number of galsses and dishes for 8. Some are for 4, with mixed matched dishes. Pots, what pots...1 pot and 1 funny shaped pot/frying pan. Both of which ar Ie dirt with dried up grease. The oven is nasty, too. I've attached some pictures of your house as a reference.

Perfect spot

This really was the perfect spot for friends and I. The house was adorable and spacious. The hosts had coffee and sugar/cream available as well as bottle waters in the fridge. Those little touches matter! Thank you so much.

House was in a great neighborhood & very clean! The owners communicated helpful tips and responded in a timely fashion. Great for groups of people and not far away from the places we wanted to visit while we were in town! Very pleased with our experience.

A nice home

We stayed 4 nights at the property with swim families. It was a nice home but could use some updates. The fans/lights in the bedroom could use replacing, and a new fresh coat of paint everywhere would be good! Also it would be nice to have a binder of important house details and info of things to do in the area. We’ve stayed at a lot of places and all of them had a binder. But it was great for what we needed and would stay there again!

Wonderful place

Great spot close enough to Greensboro to be anywhere in 20 mins but far enough away to escape the city. Great host that responded quickly to anything we asked.

Beautiful Home in a Beautiful Neighborhood!

Between the beautiful property and the hospitality of the hosts, we felt as if we were at home. We arrived to find snacks and toiletries had been left for us. Everything we needed was at our disposal. Every time I sent Bianca a message, she responded within the hour. I’d definitely recommend staying here!
