Located at the eastern side of the town, the apartment is on the 2rd floor of a modern building (with lifts), facing north with 180º views, with air conditioning. It is large and airy, with a big lounge / kitchen, 2 bedroom, 2 bathrooms with a bath. Hot water is provided from a large water heater. The kitchen is very well equipped with hob and oven, fridge / freezer, microwave, dishwasher and washing machine. The kitchen is well-supplied with plenty of cutlery, crockery pots and pans. One bedroom has two single beds, and the other a queen beed bedside tables and a large wardrobe with linen and towels provided. Folding shutters to the balcony and sliding glass doors provide a choice of security and ventilation Right opposite the apartment, across the extensive car park, is a brand-new ALDI (the biggest in the Algarve) open from 08.00-22.00 and very convenient indeed. Whilst it would be possible to walk from the apartment to the old-town it is well over a mile+ downhill going and uphill returning. Close by the apartment entry is a small municipal market with a bus stop and a stop for the little 'tourist train' which will take you right to the old centre - the cost of the latter is a modest €6-7 for an all day (round trip) ticket (and actually works out slightly cheaper than taking the city bus).
