No extravagante, pero muy pintoresco y acogedor.
Una amplia terraza jardín con muchas frutas (uvas, limones, aceitunas, granadas, higos), especias y muchas variedades de flores mediterráneas. Aquí pasarás unas vacaciones auténticas, relajadas y agradables. Nuestra casa está totalmente equipada; sin embargo, tiene un sabor típico de las Cícladas, especialmente sifniótico.

Beautiful stay in Sifnos

My friends and had the best time at Judith’s place. The photos do not do it justice - the house is so tasteful and spacious - heaps of room for all 6 of us. The garden is magnificent! Wish we could have stayed longer. Thanks Judith!

Une maison de rêve

La maison est encore plus belle et agréable que ce que pourrait faire croire l’annonce. L’architecture typique, le jardin, 4 grandes chambres ( dont 2 appartiennent à deux mini appartements) et surtout la vue, vraiment exceptionnelle, en font une maison de vacances idéale. On est tout près de Faros, la plage la plus sympa de Sifnos, à quelques minutes d’Apollonia, la capitale de l’île et la destination shopping de fin d’après-midi et tout près aussi de Kastro le village le plus beau de l’île. Nous garderons tous un souvenir inoubliable de cette semaine dans votre maison Judith. Encore merci!

2 semaines magnifiques !

Nous avons logé à deux familles dans la maison de Judith. Magnifique situation ! La maison est simple et agréable : elle a le charme de cette belle île authentique et nous a très bien accueillis à 9 (4 adultes et 5 enfants) ! Les lits étaient plus confortables qu'il n'y paraissait dans les commentaires des locataires précédents et tous les lits doubles accommodaient facilement deux adultes ! Nous avons beaucoup apprécié le sentier pédestre qui descend à la plage (nous prenions malgré tout souvent la voiture pour y être rapidement): montée et descente nous prenaient environ 30 minutes en tongs... (lorsque le soleil chauffe moins et que la lumière devient douce, les paysages sont très beaux à la montée). La plage la plus proche est grandiose et permet de beaux sauts / plongeons depuis les rochers ! Nous avons adoré ! Merci Judith !

Wodnerfull Stay

Judith was very available during our stay and helped us with our arrival and departure. She also helped us find a babysitter for our friends which was much appreciated. The house is perfectly located and the terrace offers a wonderful view on Chrysopigi's monastera. Although, one must admit that the house is not very comfortable and maybe a little small for a group of 10/12 adults. Although this was totally compensated by the beautiful and perfectly located spot of the house.

Nice house!

Really nice typical house with an impressive terrasse. We spent our time on this terrasse perfect for breakfast and dinner! House with vegetation around, which is not commune in the island, and really appreciable. The only caveat is the mattresses not comfortable for a week. (Greek bed for the cyclade’s houses) The communication with the owner is perfect!

Wonderful house and location!

The house and its location were both wonderful! Judith was a perfect host, very reactive and friendly. The house has all you need, large terraces where to spend time, perfect views, large kitchen and living rooms, quiet rooms, etc. Hopefully see you next year! :-)

A piece of heaven

We stayed in this beautiful house for two weeks in May, and it was both the most comfortable and most idyllic place we've ever stayed in. The views from the terrace over the valley and Chrysopigi (with views of Folegandros, Sikinos and Ios on a clear day) are simply breathtaking. The house, with its spacious rooms and traditional features, is tastefully furnished and has everthing you'll need. The gardener (who brough us fresh vegatables every day) and housekeepers are all wonderful. There is a walking trail down the valley to Apokofto (and Faros a bit further on) with their beautiful beaches and wonderful tavernas. And all of this in the spectacular Sifnos... We look forward to staying here again!

Un séjour exceptionnel !!!

Nous avons passé un superbe séjour dans la villa de Judith avec sa vue à couper le souffle sur chrisopygi. Nous étions 14 et n'avons jamais eu l'impression d'être les uns sur les autres notamment en raison des deux studios de 2X2 au rez de chaussée. La maison est très familiale et le potager avec ses légumes à disposition est une super idée. Nous avons également beaucoup apprécié les voitures mises à disposition ce qui est indispensable compte tenu de l'endroit où se trouve la maison. En bref une super adresse pour passer des vacances entre amis ! De plus Sifnos est un petit écrin dans les Cyclades, très préservé et très authentique !

The perfect balance to enjoy Sifnos

We wanted to spend at least 3 weeks in Sifnos with our 1 year old baby and we needed a comfortable place. Mrs. Judith's house has been the perfect choice. The Peristeriona is a cozy detached house with a stunning view over the Aegean and the monastery of Chrissopigi, two large terraces and the bedroom on a loft-like floor with a tiny window with an even better view. The house has all you need for a perfect stay, and the garden which surround the house is so nice and refreshing for the Cyclades and you have the chance to pick directly the tomatoes and the cucumbers for your greek salad! A great plus is the car that they include, anything fancy but all you need to visit all the hidden gems of Sifnos. The location is the best, since the house is very accessible by the road, right above but we are talking about a quite island road, so no noise at all and is located just half way between Apollonia and the beaches of Platis Gialos, basically no more than 5 minutes from everything.The only little issue I had has been with the internet connection that is not 100% reliable, but this is more an island problem and if you don't have to work online, absolutely it doesn't affect your vacation. Definitely we plan to come back at Judith place in the future. Thanks again. Carmine & Olivia. Brooklyn.

"The house is really nice...

"The house is really nice and comfortable. The terrace with the sea and landscape view is fantastic. The cars are not really new, but good enough and useful to see the island. From the house you can easily reach every part of the island. The house is also well furnisched, I can just say it would be better to put some awning in the terrace because in the morning and at noon the sun is so strong ( in summer!) tha it''s difficult to have breakfast or lunch in this beautiful terrace."

Perfect Place on a Wonderful Island!

My wife and I stayed in one of the smaller apartments next to the main villa and could not been happier! The location is great - close to the main town, Apollonia, Kastro, Vathi, and pretty much every other place we visited. You do need a car for exploring the island though and the one that comes with the rental fits the bill. If you are considering a stay on Sifnos, chances are you are not looking for a cookie-cutter hotel room experience, but rather some local flavor and the place is full of character - typical cycladic design, traditional but comfortable furniture, very relaxing, gorgeous views from the terrace, small church next door. Perfect change of pace and scenery for tired office workers like us. Amazing and super friendly hosts - although we have not got a chance to meet Judith in person, she was extremely easy to interact with via e-mail and we ended up becoming friends with the wonderful couple taking care of the place! We would love to come back and thinking of bringing our daughter next time! Thank you Judith, Archie, and Sophia!

"The first impression from the house is the fantastic view over landscape and the sea. The house itself is also very nice, clean and well-furnished. As we had quite cold and rainy weather we were very happy about staying in this beautiful house with a magnificent view over the bay. There are nice paths for walking and hiking close to the house. We also had the possibility of meeting the owner and we were very pleased to get to know him and had lots of nice information from him about the island culture and nature. We would love to come back to the house and the island another time."

"Une magnifique maison dans un décor de rêve. La route à proximité ne dérangeait pas. Nous avons passé la semaine que nous désirions passer. Au-delà des fonctionnalités (une connexion internet avec Wifi), c'est une vraie bibliothèque d'art qui est laissée à l'usage des locataires. Pas un endroit de la maison qui ne s'ouvre sur un paysage de carte postale. On désire y revenir."

Wonderful cycladic villa in a truly greek island

We have really loved our stay in this wonderful villa in beautiful Sifnos. Everything met or exceeded our expectations. The house is a traditional cycladic building surrounded by all sort of trees, in particular splendid bougainvilleas. The house has beautiful verandas, great for enjoying reading, listening music or having breakfast and diner, with splendid view: Chrisopighi church and bay in the front and Folegandros and Sikinos islands in the horizon. The owner is very nice and friendly and has been attentive to our needs. The 2 cars provided have been very much appreciated to discover the island. Our kids have also enjoyed listening to the Greek music CDs provided by the owner :-) If you are looking for a Cycladic experience in a Greek atmosphere we really recommend you this villa. You'll love it too.
