Girls' get away ! The village of Elizabeth is great! House is so charming, beds comfortable, and front porch is AMAZING. We got a pizza to go down the street and ate our dinner on the front porch. So lovely. We would definitely stay here again. Plenty of room for the five of us.

Great place to stay!

This house is a lovely vintage home with all of the modern conveniences set in this quaint small town within walking distance of a lovely cafe, great pizza, great coffee, a brewery, the historic Apple River Fort, and a well maintained train museum. We love Elizabeth and this property!

Great location

Perfect spot to launch out from to do what the Galena and Savanna areas have to offer. We found the house perfect. We would for sure stay again and recommend to others. Host was super.

Chestnut Mountain Ski Trip

Property is excellent - Everything was as described. House was very clean and very nicely decorated. Kitchen was well stocked and bath linens were plentiful. I would book this house for another ski trip or even a summer getaway.

Would rent again!

Loved having this space available the week i was prepping for auction of my mom's home's contents. Had everything we needed. Hung out in the big front porch every eve.

Wonderful home in a sweet village

This is a great property and the house is an historic home that is well cared for and has all types of large and small touches that show the owner cares about the experience. The town of Elizabeth offers places to eat, a brewery, and quaint shops. Close to Galena without all the crowds. A picturesque area. The host was incredibly responsive to any questions and has a deep knowledge of the community and what it offers.

I feel it should say that it is not handicap accessible.

Comods way to low for Seniors. Rugs are very easy to trip on, and need handbars in shower. We had family there and a couple were in 80’s. Had a great time but really had to be very careful. Thank you,

Friday night was a little cold. It would of been better to have received text back on heat issue as I did not get email until Sunday on someone coming to look at heat concern, and we were not aware there was going to be someone in house on Saturday when we were not there.

So much fun!!

Absolutely a wonderful house!! Everything was as advertised, actually even better!!! We spent the mornings on the porch with coffee and the evenings on the porch with cocktails!! It was a great girls weekend!!! Would highly recommend!!!
