The home was beautiful, open but cozy with everything you might need! We enjoyed movies on the couch, cooking in the kitchen, and kayaking out to the gulf. It was a wonderful stay!

Paddling thru Mangroves

This was a very cute and cozy house! Just perfect for our 2 nights stay. There was everything you needed to enjoy the outdoors (bikes, paddleboards, kayaks, etc.). Paddling thru the mangroves was awesome....we saw dolphins coming and going while cruising the canal, even saw a manatee right off the dock! Perfect setup, except for there was no en suite to either of the bedrooms and the one bathroom off the porch was a bit small. Other than that, great and we would definitely stay again! Thanks Corinne

Family Oriented and thoughtful property

We were so impressed with this home and the way the host went above and beyond to ensure we would have everything we needed. The decorations were lovely, but still family friendly and not stuffy. Corinne really thought of everything you might need right down to blender for protein shakes. The beds were so comfortable and my daughter took pictures of some of the pillows so she could go home and buy them on Amazon. We go scalloping every year for 4th of July and will absolutely be back! I have never stayed in a more accommodating home. Thank you so much!

Good home away from home

This is a very nicely appointed 2-bedroom, 2-bathroom house. It is comfortably furnished with all the mod cons. As someone who enjoys cooking, I was so happy with the kitchen and how well equipped it is. I give it 5 stars for that.We kept our 24-foot boat on the floating dock and spent our days on the water fishing. We kept the trailer to the side of the house. The house comes with an excellent fish cleaning table, on the side of the dock. A great addition to the house's amenities and we used it. We love the location of the house and its easy access, by boat, to the Gulf. There is a fire table and comfortable outdoor seating which is lovely to sit at during the cooler nights. We stayed for 3 nights and enjoyed ourselves immensely. When we return to Hernando Beach, we will definitely look to stay here again. Thank you for a great stay!

Highest praise well deserved

Corinne’s extraordinary attention to details made this stay truly memorable. She could teach a master class in how to be a host. We have stayed at many VRBOs. Sunshine Escape gets my highest praise. You cannot go wrong here. It’s perfect and you will be spoiled. From the silverware to the cookware to the beds and outside furniture everything is first rate. We loved it and will definitely return.

Winter Get Away

Fantastic, couldn’t fault it!!

This villa is a must, our 2nd time here! The owners have thought of everything even down to toothbrushes! You can enjoy canoeing, bikes, fishing or just relaxing here. You won’t be disappointed.

Rest and Relaxation

Wonderful stay at Sunshine Escape!

We loved every minute and didn't want to leave. They had everything we needed for our little family of 3. The house was stunningly clean and fully stocked with all kinds of fun things. We loved the games, kayaks, dock, grill, etc. We will be back for sure!!

Surprised that Sunshine Escape was even nicer in person than online. Everything we could possible have needed was available, convenient, clean, and responsive! Lovely house and location

We had a short stay for an extended family gathering with my spouse and siblings and this property was perfect. The amenities were comprehensive and very nice. Working with the host was a pleasure. We hope to come again soon for a longer stay.

Peaceful waterside retreat

We had a short stay for visits to area attractions from Tarpon Springs to Crystal River. The house was immaculate and filled with thoughtful amenities and add one that made it a truly wonderful place to stay.

Wonderful gem!

This is a wonderful gem hidden in Hernando Beach. Recently remodeled in a quiet cul-de-sac with access to kayaks and bikes to explore during your relaxing vacation. You have your own gazebo and “private beach” in the form of beautiful Florida sand and comfortable lounge chairs right in your own back yard. We have rented many VRBOs in a variety of places and this one is spotless! There is absolutely nothing missing that you would need in this beautiful home. The homeowner is very responsive and we really enjoyed our stay. Thank you!

Clean & Quiet

This was one of the cleanest properties that we have ever stayed in and I am a stickler for cleanliness. My husband and I travel quite frequently so we have been in and out of many rental units. Not only that, the neighborhood was very quiet and safe. The house is decorated beautifully with plenty of storage to stretch out. Highly recommend if you are in the area. We will definitely rent again as we have family close by.

Grandkids trip

Very nice place. Host is quick to response to any questions on the property. Let us know about a art festival that was going on that we wouldn't of known about. It's very peaceful area nice to sit out and relax. We will stay there again.

WOW, amazing villa and location

What an amazing property and location. From fishing off the dock, kayaking down the canal to relaxing in the gazebo it has it all. Can’t fault the villa, communication with owner was excellent. Will definitely be booking again. Highly recommend you book.

Best vrbo yet

My husband and I have stayed at a lot of VRBO places. This one was by far our favorite . The owners were very responsive to all of our needs. Check in and check out were very easy. The place is exactly as it is advertised. It is decorated so adorable. Felt like we were in a beach place. We enjoyed using the kayaks, fishing poles, and bicycles. Couldn’t ask for a better place.
