brand new amazing cabin. views of tatoosh peak overlooking the cowlitz river. wood floors, granite countertops, walk in ensuite double headed showers, covered patio with propane firepit and hot tub. Game room with shuffleboard, ping pong, and dart board. Sonos music system, every room has its own television, great room has 16 foot tall stone fireplace. If your looking for a luxury cabin on the Cowlitz River, just a few miles from Mt. Ranier park this is the one.

The cabin was beautiful, clean, and felt very new. The kitchen was well appointed. Marty was very responsive and a pleasure to deal with. We enjoyed the outdoor fireplace and the game room in the garage. The location was a nice place to relax, as well as a convenient drive to town and Mount Rainier.

Rainier retreat

Great base camp for hiking rainier. Nice river out back. Game room keeps kids entertained. Lots of gathering space, plenty of tvs. Kitchen had what we needed. WiFi is slow.

Really enjoyed our stay at Martys. Beautiful view (keep an eye out for the elk visiting at the river!) and the house is perfect for a family trip. Nice and clean, lots of fun games to play, well equipped for dinners at home. Only note is that the wifi wasn’t working for us, which didn't really matter to us, but could matter for a future guest if they needed to be connected. Would happily recommend to anyone and we hope to return!

The house is absolutely stunning! It was clean and organized. The property is gorgeous. The location is situated just a few mins to town and within a short drive to many beautiful hikes. Marty was flexible and communicated well. I hope we have the chance to visit this area again!

Modern and perfect.

The view in the backyard is stunning, with the rushing river running behind it all. The hot tub was wonderful and the fire pit is a cherry on top. Very functional house setup with private rooms and bathrooms on either side of the house. Lots of bedding and comfy seating. Loved every minute!

Worth it

Gorgeous property, quiet. There are a few bald eagles that nest nearby and we saw adults and a juvenile every day. Amazing experience!

Great place to visit Ranier

The house is incredible, river views right off the back patio. We were able to easily get to the both Sunrise and Paradise. We had 3 couples and having 3 rooms with bathrooms was great.

Mt Rainier stay

We had a lovely stay at the brand new cabin. We had some issues with the WiFi due to a storm but the host was responsive. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were beautiful.

Rodents on premise

Nice property but ran into mice inside the house on multiple occasions. Notified the property owner and he agreed to place mouse traps after we left but he did nothing to remedy our concerns or address the inconvenience to us.

Mount Rainier Basecamp

Due to timed entry at the Lark and concerns about crowds, traffic, and wait lines, we decided to enter the park well before 7am, when reservations were required. This allowed us to enjoy great hikes like the Skyline Loop and Fremont and still get back to the property by noon. This was one of the first times we were able to truly enjoy the VRBO. The home is beautiful and well maintained. We spent the majority of the time on the back deck. The kids (16, 16,19) enjoyed the river and the hot tub. We also enjoyed the gas fire pit when the temps dropped and saw more stars then we thought possible. Great stay. Highly recommend it.

Luxurious Stay in Packwood

This cabin was immaculate...such a luxurious stay right outside the city of Packwood. Convenient to the southeast entrance to Mt. Rainier National Park. Perfect for our family - plenty of activities included with the cabin, too - hot tub, ping pong, shuffle board. Such a nice getaway! Marty was responsive to our questions.

Amazing Place

Absolutely perfect for our family vacation. The house was clean, well stocked, and a great location. Just a few minutes from Mt. Rainier National Park and super close to stores in Packwood. We especially loved sitting out back and watching the wildlife around the river.

Perfect serenity

It was four of us gals all in our mid 40’s who stayed for the weekend. The home is absolutely beautiful. And you feel at home almost as soon as you step inside of it. It was the perfect place for us to spend a weekend catching up. We spent the majority of our time outside by the fireplace soaking in the best views. Every few months we have a weekend getaway just like this and we all voted and said this property is our favorite. One of my favorite parts was the privacy. Although there is a neighbor, the house is far enough that you feel all alone out there with that beautiful view. Definitely will be returning. We couldn’t figure out how to start the fire and Marty was excellent about getting back to me and walking me through it. Thanks again, Marty!

Extraordinary Property in Packwood!

Truly one of the best VRBO properties we ever stayed in. Clean, new, updated with numerous special touches. We loved the view, the hot tub, the game room! Even the dishes mugs utensils were beautiful and new. The two bathrooms on the first floor had amazing walk in showers and lots of storage space. Steps away from the Cowlitz river. We saw wildlife from the back porch, sipping wine and enjoying the perfect gas fireplace . Thank you Marty!!!

Waterfront Luxury Cabin with High End Finishes Throughout

The owner's photos don't do this property justice, it is spacious, brand new, and gorgeous! The views are unbeatable, and the oversized back deck complete with BBQ grill, hot tub, and custom-made outdoor fireplace are over the top. As frequent travelers, we appreciated the high end kitchenware, appliances, and furniture. Everything we needed was there, and Marty was fantastic to work with. We will definitely be going back!

Best VRBO and amenities

We had the best 5 days at this Vrbo. It’s gorgeous, modern, clean, and well equipped. Location is perfect for visiting Mt Rainier. Was so nice to come home the hot tub after long days hiking. The fire pit was amazing. Now I want one for home ! We made s’mores every night. Cooked healthy meals in the great kitchen and all 4 of us enjoyed having our own space ! thank you !
