Pristine Studio—Walk to SF Bay & State Park! With A/C!

Pristine studio in the heart of Marin, walking distance to the north end of San Francisco Bay as well as China Camp State Park. Perfect jumping-off spot for exploring San Francisco, Marin, and the wine country of Sonoma and Napa. The kitchenette includes a convection microwave, portable cooktop, and air fryer, so you can prepare almost anything you could make with a regular oven and stovetop (yes, you can even bake a cake!).

Absolutely clean and pristine, with air conditioning and a TV you can swivel to watch from the couch or the queen-size bed.

Tesla charger available, with adapter for any type of electric car.

The studio is in the lower part of a two-story home on a gated, wooded lot very close to hiking and biking trails. There is another, separate guest house on the property that we have been hosting as a vacation rental for 15 years. We live on the upper floor of the main home and will do our best to keep sounds to a minimum during your stay. (Please note: This studio probably isn’t for you if you couldn’t bear to hear footsteps once in a while.)

Very nice room, great location!

Quiet and centrally located, perfect for exploring SF, the East Bay and wine country. Small, but well designed/built, making it quite comfortable for two people. Off-street gated parking was a plus.

The space is tiny but has everything you could need. We could tell a lot of thoughtfulness went into how they set it up. Great neighborhood and property!

Such a great spot!

The hosts really thought of every way to maximize this space and make it comfy and efficient. I loved the bathroom design! And they were super responsive and helpful🌷Staying here gave me the opportunity to explore a new area of San Rafael too. I definitely recommend eating and shopping at Andy's Market and hiking at China Camp State Park. Beautiful areas on the water!

Perfect for 2 & a baby

We had a wonderful visit, I was so worried our newborn would wake up the main house, and he might of but they were so sweet. We also took their recommendations on where to go and where to eat. They had everything we needed, they even provided a paknplay for us it son to sleep in.

Cozy Studio

We stayed here for our 11 year Wedding Anniversary. The moment we walked in we were suprised on how roomy it was. Bed was very comfortable. Very clean studio. It had everything we needed. We forgot to pack body soap but not to worry the shower had full size bottles of body soap shampoo and conditioner. There was a nice binder on the table with tips of local restaurants and things to do. The TV swivels out so we can watch TV from our bed. We enjoyed our stay here. Definitely recommend this for a couples trip.

Cozy Hillside Studio

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Studio 80 in San Rafael. The studio was clean, fresh, and comfortable. There was no wasted space and everything you might need in a home away from home was there, even fresh flowers! We enjoyed walking up the hill to the beautiful views of the bay, and down the hill to the market for coffee, yummy pastries, and interesting walks along the marina. Hosts Joe and Mali were very gracious and met us with a friendly welcome upon arrival. We will definitely return to explore more of the beautiful trails in the area. Thank you!

Thoughtfully designed studio with everything you might need!

First off, the property is amazing. Set on a hillside in San Rafael, you get views of Mount Tam and the bay. The property is private and secluded, and even though the studio is attached to the main house, we had privacy and didn't feel bothered by others while we were there. The studio itself has everything you might need, including a mini air-fryer (so cute!). The bathroom tiles are beautiful. The bed was comfortable. And it was a quick 10 minute walk down the hill to a neighborhood store that had food, wine, and views too! Mali and Joe were great hosts, ensuring we were comfortable and had everything we needed. We will definitely stay here again when we're back in the area <3

Home away from home

This lovely studio is perfectly appointed, has all you could need/want and in a gorgeous location in the trees, view of the bay an yet minutes from everything. Mali and Joe are most welcoming. Can't wait to return next year.
