As you enter the great room your eyes will be drawn to the high vaulted ceiling, distressed timbers, stone surround on the gas fireplace and lots of windows to take in the views. This main floor encompasses the living room with flat screen TV, very well-equipped kitchen, and a dining room table large enough to seat the family (seats 10). A highchair is also available.
The next level up has a kids play area, 4 guest bedrooms and the primary suite:
Bedroom 1 has 1 queen and 1 double bed, ceiling fan, a private bath with shower and a play n pack. There is access to the back yard and the hot tub from this room.
Bedroom 2 has a queen bed, ceiling fan and shares a jack and jill bath with bedroom 3 this bath has a tub/shower.
Bedroom 3 has a queen bed, ceiling fan, and flat screen TV
Bedroom 4 has a bunk bed that is a double down and a single above, flat screen TV.
There is also a full hall bath.
The Primary suite has a CAL king bed, a desk for those that need to work while on vacation and a full bath with soaker tub and separate shower. Flat screen on the wall in the primary
The televisions are all streaming and there is a WIFI booster to increase the connectivity.
The lower level is where the pool table, wet bar and TV viewing lounge is located. There is a laundry room and half bath on the lower level.
This home is intended to be for family and friends to gather and relax in the peaceful mountain air. No parties or disturbances of any kind will be allowed. The Mountain View Retreat is in a quiet neighborhood, and the neighbors are full time residents. It is a short drive to the area locals call the “Y” with shopping, dining and great breweries. Angora Ridge, Tahoe Mountain and Washoe Meadows State Park are close by for hiking and mountain biking. Explore Fallen Leaf Lake and Angora Lakes. Heavenly Ski Resort is approximately 15 minutes away, Sierra At Tahoe 25 minutes, Kirkwood approximately 40.
The beaches along Highway 89 are 15 minutes away, Pope Beach, Camp Richardson, Baldwin Beach. You will also find walking trails, the Tallac Historic Sites, and many other favorite visitors destinations along this stretch.
2 Car garage is accessible, and there is storage for your skis or boards.
The backyard includes a covered porch with BBQ and the hot tub. There are also terraced nooks to sit and relax and breath in the fresh mountain air.
The kitchen is enhanced by a 6 burner gas stove, granite counters, spacious bar with bar stools. The kitchen is well equipped-the homeowner loves to cook. There is also a gas BBQ on the porch off the kitchen.

When traveling to Tahoe in the winter be prepared for winter driving, possible road closures and delays in snow removal. You are booking a trip to the mountains so come prepared.
