Relaxing Stay

Place is secluded from your high traffic areas. Owners are great with communication and accommodated when there were requests. It was good to understand the history of the property as this is shared within the cabin. Loons are in abundance on the lake.

Wonderful and relaxing place

We had a wonderful time here. It was so great waking up to the loons calling and being able to just walk down to the dock to fish. The cabin was clean and spacious enough for our family of six. Brian was great to work with, answered our questions and made sure we had everything we needed for our stay. The state park nearby was one of our favorite spots as well as the mini golf in Deerwood. We loved just relaxing outside or fishing off the dock - many fish to be caught!

Felt completely bamboozled upon arriving at this property. The photos and property listing details are inaccurate and very misleading. The property in general is very run down. The cabin was disgusting—mouse feces on beds and bath towels. The shower had human hair in it, like it hadn’t been cleaned. It is not an air conditioned cabin as advertised. The grill was unusable due to rust. The on-site cafe is not open as advertised. When I asked the host about this miscommunication, no apology was given. We cancelled, got a refund, and left.

Not as pictured

We got there and I was very DISAPPOINTED!! Not as pictured we had ground squirrels inside the bathroom had a couple of leaks and I thought it was private and was not, should say private/shared. They must have used the previous owners pics, No towels, not enough plates, cups, for 7 people which it states sleeps 7, bathroom wasn't good, but the boat ride was excellent and the owners were right there, still had a great time with family, do not go to cabin1 and if you think its private its not

Aspectos negativos: Limpieza, ubicación y precisión del anuncio
The pictures shown in the listing were very misleading and did not accurately represent this property. The cabin and surrounding areas were significantly overgrown and not kept up and grungy open deep freeze freezers lined the boat house. Based on the pictures online, we had very different expectations for our stay. There was no playground like shown online, the beach was pretty much none existent, the kayak paddles were broke and the boat house looked like noone had been in it for years. I would not recommend this location if you have kids, but if you plan to bring a boat and do nothing but fishing on it then you will be okay. We got what we could for a refund and left. To say we were disappointed is an understatement.
