Wonderful and charming spot

We had a wonderful stay at the cabin. The spot is quiet with incredible views of the lake. Will definitely stay again!

Quite, restful and beautiful place and setting!

This cottage was perfect for a time to rest, refresh and recharge in a beautiful lakeside setting. It was so much so that I plan to make this my regular "getaway" location!

Super cute little cabin

This little spot was perfect for my quiet night stay when I just wanted to have some peace and quiet. the view was beautiful and right on the water. Host was amazing.

beautiful cottage by the lake

This is a beautiful and quiet cottage by the lake. There are 2 TVs in the unit. The kitchen is very nice and the bed is comfortable. A lot to do as well in the Livingston area.

Anniversary get away was so Fantastic

Even with freezing weather advisory’s Once we got to the cottage on the lake, it was wonderful to have such a cozy warm inviting place to stay. Our host Rhonda is so special to us, thankful for the kind, loving care 💝

Simply stunning

This place sits right on the shore of Lake Livingston with a backyard porch that overlooks the lake. The building was beautifully appointed and very cozy. I highly recommend this place for small groups.

What a treat this little cabin was! Even with rainy weather, everything was wonderful. Ronda provides everything you could possibly need and the decor is so charming. I can't wait to return!

Nice quiet cabin

Nice quiet cabin on the lake. My wife and I came to do some fishing. Had kids and grands come for the day. We really loved the upkeep of the property.

Amazing getaway and fun fishing

We had such an amazing time. We stayed 3 nights and spent the days fishing in several spots around the property. Everything is immaculate. Such a cozy and perfectly decorated little cottage. You have a beautiful view of the water from all back windows. We will definitely return. Such a peaceful weekend away.

such a relaxing, wonderful experience

This property was everything I hoped for and more. It was right on the water. We brought our own poles and folding chairs. Works were available right down the road. We ate at a delicious restauant that had live music that was just down the road. We will definitely save this spot and try to go back!

Americana lake stay at its finest

This cozy Americana themed home had it all for a much needed anniversary getaway, and you cant beat the lake front views! Plenty of outdoor seating in different areas. We rode our motorcycle in, and had just a short stay...grabbing dinner just a mile away at the Bullet Grill & Bar. The home was well stocked with necessities, and the water pressure was great. We def plan to return for a longer stay to take advantage of some water activities. Note: Property is private and secluded publicly, but owner does live on site...she was welcoming and pleasant when we crossed paths.

Exceptional getaway!

What a gem this blue cottage on the lake was for a weekend getaway! Every detail was thought of from amenities to the nice decor all over. There were even games and DVDs for when it started raining for a short time. And our host Ronda is amazing: she even went out in the rain to warn us of the hail and provide a cover for our car and even offers us supper. The location was perfect as well. Thank you Ronda for a peaceful and well

Property owner didn't know we were staying at the property since she "hadn't communicated with VRBO in a long time". The cabin had not been cleaned. The caretaker changed the bedding but that was all. My husband cleaned the bathroom. We were told the water was under a boil restriction. I wonder if it's always under a boil restriction. We were provided a few bottles of water. The window air unit dripped so we had to keep a bowl under it. The location was nice with only the caretaker house near.

Rested

This property was everything. The pictures said it would be! Very, very quiet and peaceful! It was exactly what my husband and I needed! Everything was clean, in order, and wonderful! Only one small negative, is that there are no high backed chairs in the living area. So at the end of the day if you want to sit and just relax, there’s not really a good place to sit and lean your head back and do that. That did not affect our stay in a major way, and we will be coming back! Loved it!

A great place to stay for fishing and to get away

If you want to go fish and just relax this isnthenplace to stay. The boat ramp is about 50 yards from the property but is tucked away behind an inlet. So you really don't hear or see the boats and they stay away from your fishing area. Plus is you have a boat there is a boat dock on the property so just drop and park don't have to go anywhere. There is great fishing right there on the property and at the boat ramp. There is 2 gas stations about 3 blocks from property that carry everything you need for fishing and your stay and a dollar general set up like a grocery store so everything you need right there. We stayed for 3 nights and 4 days and we caught enough keepers that we eat fish there and brought them home. At one point my son who just wanted to fish needed a break from all the fish we were catching. The owner supplied a bait net and bucket so we didn't have to leave the property to get bait but we did bring some night crawlers which worked great and we caught shad with the net and they worked great to. You have all you need to make a great fishing trip You can swim on the property but it's a little rocket to try and get it. But your only 8 minutes away from wolf creek park where there is a place to swim. Also about 300 yards from where the trinity river spills into lake livingston so just a short drive and you can fish and swim in the river. The property owner is a very nice lady. She was very accommodating and made sure our stay was amazing. She lives on the property. But not to close, so if you need anything she is right there. No wifi yet ( she is working on it ) but our phones hot spot worked fine. My wife was able to relax and read her books and just injoy the quiet beautiful setting. She loved it. There is no neighbors close so it's very quiet and peaceful. All in all an amazing place to stay to just get away and relax and fish. Great for a family or just some friends trying to get away and fish and relax and do nothing I highly recommend this place. And we will be staying there again soon.
