The Gold mine cabin is located in a quiet secluded area. If you or your party have any disabilities the steps getting in and out of the cabin can be difficult. The area to park more than one vehicle is not level. The pictures shown in the search for the property make the inside of the cabin look larger than it is. The black and white bedroom is very tight. The red and white room is larger and we were able to put the babies play pen at the foot of the bed and still have room to walk around the room. There are closets in the two bedrooms with plenty of room to hang your clothes. The loft upstairs only has pipes attached to the wall to hang clothes. The bedrooms on the first floor have no chest of drawers to take clothes out of your suitcases, so you will have to live out of your suitcase during your stay.The temperature during our stay was freezing and the heater kept the cabin warm and comfortable. There was plenty of hot water during our stay and with four adults we never ran out of hot water. The kitchen, bedrooms, bathrooms were all clean. The outdoor deck area was unkept with bottle caps and a cooler left behind. I haven’t contacted the host but there is a slight leak in the roof by the skylight over the kitchen island. The internet was reliable and it worked very well. As you walk into the cabin be careful because the floor is uneven. From the hallway it slopes down towards the kitchen island. Well, we had a great time during our stay at the Gold Mine Cabin.
