Perfect Location but posting not accurate

First off, the host was responsive and did grant an early check in. Unfortunately when we arrived, we were disappointed that the apartment did not look like the picture. I believe the pictures were from a different unit, even the tile does not match. There are a few things I would change because the location is perfect for a relaxing gateway and it would definitely help to bring future guests and repeat ones. The front door is broken and super hard to close. That was a bit hard to deal with. The sofa bed is not good for more than one person, so the fact that the property picture had a much bigger sofa bed than what we saw when we arrived, got me worried. I searched for a place that would fit a family of 5, two teenagers who would sleep on the couch and my two year old with her dad and I, however when we arrived and saw the couch they would have to share I worried. The host did allow us to leave and cancel the booking but it was a very short stay to make changes. There is a handle in the kitchen cabinet that is broken, easy fix but it should be done. The last thing is the AC only working in the room, so the living room area is so hot, that we had to freeze in the room with AC to the max to try and circulate some air to the living area. I think this is an ok property for a family of 3 since the location is perfect but until some improvements are made it will be hard to have repeat guests. Fix the minor door problems and post accurate pictures and we will know what we get. 🙏

Singer Island Stay

The property functioned very well for our needs(had our dog with us). It was clean, and easy mop to check in and out. The location was a great area for walking. Easy access to the beach.

Had all the potential-just not there yet!

This is a new onboard to VRBO, so I want to preface that they make changes since I have wrote this lengthy review and when you read this. We chose to stay in a VRBO instead of the resorts nearby because of the kitchen, privacy and additional space in the unit. This particular unit did have additional space, but the AC is only located in the bedroom so during the day, the living room was hot. There were maintenance issues in the unit, the knob on the closet is broken (making the closet difficult to open) and there was a hole in the shower wall (big enough for a fist). Paying a to stay for 3 nights (which included a new listing discount) was a little discouraging-especially because there was a hefty cleaning fee included for the one bedroom condo. We appreciated how close the condo was to beach access and walking distance to restaurants. However, we will not be repeat customers.
