Mountain retreat-with deck, grill and outdoor fun-easy 3.4 miles to ski lift!

Surrounded by tall pines and conveniently located off HWY 434 in the Angel Fire Resort, this Mountain Retreat is close to the golf course for summer fun and only minutes away from the ski lifts in winter. Lots of greenbelt trails are nearby for hiking and biking in the summer or snowshoeing in the winter and don't forget about cross country skiing in the winter on the nearby golf course. Monte Verde lake is also within walking distance for all your summer time lake fun (fishing, stand up paddle boards, pedal boats, or relaxing on the lakeshore...) The paved drive-through driveway allows for easy year round access ( but still recommend AWD/4WD in winter unless you have chains available).

This cozy beautifully furnished home has 3 bedrooms. The main bedroom has a queen bed and twin trundle (best for kiddos) with an an ensuite bathroom and a beautifully tiled walk in shower. The spacious common area boasts a wood-burning fireplace surrounded by stone, vaulted tongue-and-groove ceilings, large wooden beams and hardwood floors with plenty of room to spread out and enjoy the beautiful scenery and wildlife outside the windows flanking the fireplace. The kitchen has stainless steel appliances, granite counter tops, bar top seating and an island useful for preparing delicious meals in the well stocked kitchen. The adjacent dining nook is surrounded by windows thru which all of the outdoor beauty can be enjoyed. There is also a large wrap around deck for watching the wildlife as you enjoy your favorite beverage and an amazing flagstone patio area with an additional wood-burning fireplace.

This was a beautiful property with a perfect location. We had a great stay. Everything we needed and then some. Nice quiet area, we saw/heard plenty of wildlife. Spent evenings in front of the outdoor fireplace, walked all around the neighborhood, was the perfect location for exploring Angel Fire and Eagle Nest and for daytrips to Taos and Red River. Would definitely recommend.

Family Trip

Angel Fire Trip

We had a wonderful time in Angel Fire. This was the perfect weekend get away and just right for us and two of our kids. Great location and clean.

Great place and location

It was a great location and the layout of the cabin itself worked well for our family. Plenty of window and deck space to enjoy the views outside. Hiking trails nearby, close to town for groceries and Angel Fire Resort for skiing . We had a couple minor items we ran into but Sean was very responsive - even working with us on New Years Eve.

Great Getaway

My wife and I stayed 3 weeks to enjoy Angel Fire and the surrounding communities. We loved the accommodations and the service during our stay. The host was very gracious and provided all the needed information to make our stay exceptional. We plan to stay here again in the future.

Ski Trip 2024

My husband and I took our three kids and two of their friends up to stay in this beautiful home and to ski for three days. The home was perfect and had everything we needed. It presented as a cozy warm feeling. We would definitely recommend this home to others. Beautiful layout and convenient location.

Perfect mountain getaway- super convenient location

It really is 5 minutes from the slopes and the perfect size for a family or two to share. Big open main area, and great sized outdoor patio that would be perfect in the summer/warmer months. If you come in the winter be sure you have a 4WD vehicle! Very helpful to get up the hill and in/out of the driveway.

Summer Fun!

The house was in an amzing location and close to everything in Amgel Fire. We played golf, went trout fishing 1/2 mile away, watched the hot air balloons go up every morning and enjoyed the festivals in town that weekend. We saw deer, chipmunks, prairie dogs, and a brown bear twice! 10 out of 10 would stay here again!

Beautiful Home in the Heart of Angel Fire

This house is wonderful. Packed closely in the trees, with an easy access driveway, you'll see it lit up with lights as you drive along the road below. During your stay you are very likely to see deer, and maybe even elk, right outside the window.

Great ski vacation!

We had a great time in Angel Fire skiing over the New Year’s. It’s a a very family friendly ski town! The views were amazing! The cabin was super spacious and cozy! It was 7 driving min’s from the ski resort. Sean was super great at answering all my question via text. He checked in on us to make sure we were doing well and if we needed anything else. By far our best host! We would totally come back for another ski vacation here at this cabin!

Comfortable and well equipped home in great location!

We loved our stay here! The house was in a great location - 5 minutes from the ski slopes and the national forest where I thoroughly enjoyed my snowshoe hike. The entrance had places for your wet boots (and a bench to sit on and put them on) and a place to hang your jackets. The home was comfortable and well stocked - it had the best stocked kitchen of any place I have ever stayed with plenty of glasses, plates, bowls, cups, cookware, utensils, pots and pans etc. The beds were very comfortable with plenty of extra pillows and extra blankets. For inside entertainment there were lots of family games and movies as well as a smart tv to watch any shows you want. The large windows flanking the fireplace made for a great view to watch the snow falling. The house sits on a very large lot with lots of room for kids to play outside. It also has an outside fireplace and a wrap around deck. This would be a great place to visit year round with lots of outdoor activities - hiking, fishing, golfing, horseback riding, skiing and more. If you go in the winter, make sure you have a four wheel drive vehicle. The hosts were very helpful in answering our questions and promptly responded to all our inquiries. I highly recommend staying here! We are looking forward to going back.
